Business icon Joe Kariuki is feted at major International Award

Kenya’s most renowned music mogul and business man Business mogul Joe Kariuki, seems to be making major wins for himself!

This past weekend the City tycoon’s company 51 Capital – which is an online forex trading, was nominated as the Second Best Forex trader in Africa for the year 2019.

This major win comes just a few months after being released from prison in Tanzania. According to reports Joe Kariuki spent close to two years in incarceration following his arrest on alleged money laundering accusations.

He was, however, found innocent after a successful appeal and released in July this year – only to get back and show people what he was made of.

Being a non-deposit taking and smart loan company that trades in forex and 51 Capital gives soft loans to people with no credit history.

Speaking to the press, the Candy N candy Records chief executive urged the youth to take up forex trading as an income-generating activity instead of waiting for promised jobs that take a lifetime to come or never materializes at all.

He said unlike other investment opportunities, forex trading has fewer risks.

“I am happy to be awarded this award. It comes at a period when we have restlessness because of unemployment, especially among the youth. I feel forex trading is still an unexplored sector that young people can venture in since a majority of them are tech-savvy. Armed with only a laptop and Sh10,000, they can easily start the online trading,”

Peter Gicheru, a partner director at 51 Capital, said the company has already initiated 70 trainees for a continental challenge, where the best 10 would be selected and given Sh1 million as seed money to start trading.

“Before they get into trading, we trained and mentored them so that they become knowledgeable on various issues such as knowing the market trends,”

Singer Otile Brown unfortunately had a small accident at Yaya Centre knocking down a bodaboda rider and his client.

Judging from the photos and clips making rounds on social media – it appeared that the bodaboda rider and his two passengers were hit from an angle that left them with minor injuries.

Anyway Otile Brown and his team rushed the the three victims to a nearby hospital for medical care. The two passengers who had sustained minor injuries were discharged
immediately after receiving treatment while the rider had to be admitted for further checkup.

Through his Instagram page, Otile Brown went on to write saying;

To my dear fans, family, friends and supporters, my team and I would like to officially acknowledge the accident I had on Wednesday the 20th of November 2019 around Yaya Centre involving my car with a boda boda carrying 2 passengers. My team and I took the injured persons to the hospital and made sure they received the needed necessary treatment and we catered for the resulting bills.2 people had sustained minor injuries and were released on the same night after treatment while the rider of the boda boda Mr. Yassin Maina Richard had to be admitted to the hospital for further check up.

Nairobi Diaries Bridget Achieng is one of those mothers who is grateful for the fact that God finally decided to bless her with a child after years of trying to look for one.

The actress who is also quiet open when it comes to talking about her personal life recently opened up revealing how much she struggled before finally getting pregnant.

Speaking to a popular news outlet, Bridget Achieng for the first time confirmed that she had been trying to conceive for about 5 years in-order to give her late mum a grandchild – but things did not happen as planned at that time.

Singer Harmonize has been keeping a low profile after Kenyan producer Magix Enga went on to pull down ‘Uno’ over copyright issues as reported by Enga.

Apparently Harmonize sampled Magix Enga’s Dundaing beats for his new Uno hit song and from the look of things; it did not turn out so well.

Rayvanny must be falling in love with his video vixen, Nana who was featured on his latest project dubbed I love you.

So far the two have been accused of being an item despite Rayvanny living with his baby mama Fahyma who is said to have walked out on the singer after learning that he had been cheating on her.

Colonel Mustafa is no longer on Instagram just a few days after Trap King Chrome went on to accuse him of being gay.

According to Trap King, uncle Mustafa has been living with a man who he (Colonel) is romantically involved with.

Controversial artist Msupa S this past weekend went on to reveal that she worked on a yet to be released song which she featured Octopizzo.

According to the lass, the project has been ready for a while now but the rapper keeps on insisting they should hold on for a while.

Socialite cum business lady Huddah has opened up about the number of children she hopes to have in the near future.

The lady opened up about this on a post shared on her Instagram page where she revealed that she wants 5 kids; but every time she says this, people tend to oppose her!

According to Huddah motherhood is a phase she will make the most out of and this is why having 5 kids sounds like the best idea. Through her Instagram page, Huddah wrote;

The actress confirmed the pregnancy rumors with a few maternity photos leaving her fans excited. Just like most celebrities who prefer keeping their privates lives on the low, Njambi has been ‘hiding’ her pregnancy until just recently.

In a well detailed post shared by the actress, Njambi opened up about struggling with depression and a miscarriage she suffered back in 2018 – surprising many.

First of all I was not hiding the fact that I had a baby onthe way, I wanted to confirm the well being of the baby before I announced it on social media. Am due anyday from yesterday ????????????…. Am so excited btw ….. .

So, about this photo, I wanted an illustration of what I had gone through last year. The darkness I was living in because of a severe depression, I previously had a miscarriage and that also gave me the anxiety of sharing this news of this pregnancy.

Dealing with a Miscarriage

Njambi went on to open up about her miscarriage that might have been caused by all the stress she was going through especially now that she was jobless and desperate.

When we got pregnant on November 2017, we were not ready… I remember after the miscarriage on April 2018 everyone told us that everything happened for a reason. We didn’t quite understand that it wasn’t the right time for us…. We both had unsolved issues and alot of baggages at the time. But Lord knows how hard losing that baby was, we were not only heart broken but our relationship got broken too. We made stupid decisions last year because we didn’t know how to handle the pain together, we made stupid decisions that we still regret. And it felt like when our baby died, she went with all our blessings. That was the time TRHK went on a long break, and after that no doors were opening, no opportunity was coming our way. I felt like I was being punished, like God had forgetten about us. I was jobless, stressed, dying inside and lonely.

Despite all the hardships Njambi and her husband have learnt to pick themselves up and moved on with their lives!

But look at God, the beginning of this year we were blessed and this time it was the right time. We were ready emotionally, physically mad even spiritually. We had lost our way…. But everyday I keep on saying this is our miracle. It came at the right time with it’s own blessings. Am telling you this Lord is an amazing God. I keep telling people that am a living testimony of what the Lord can do. .

After pulling down Uno from YouTube, singer and music producer Magix Enga has promised to have the Uno video re-uploaded as he has chosen to release his copyright strike against Harmonize.

The music producer made the announcement through his Instagram where he revealed that popular and celebrated music producer   Clemmo convinced him to have the video uploaded back on YouTube since what matters is helping each other grow!

According to Kiguta, the photo was taken when she was she was working for Hope FM – where she had been earning peanuts which couldn’t cover her bills leave alone bus fare.

Thank you @willisraburu for reminding how far I’ve come!! I was 18. First job at Hope Fm. Really earning peanuts. No what’s less than peanuts? Half a peanut? That’s what I was earning. I’d leave the Daystar Athi River campus, drop off at Airport view estate and literally walk all the way to NPC valley road… actually it was more like run! Why walk, because I had choose between the luxury of getting on a bus or a cab or saving that fare. The bus would get to Nairobi at 5:30pm & I’d be in studio at 6:30pm. Always exhausted but just so thankful to be on air and having the time of my life with this guy! I could cater for my little expenses with my few shillings from this gig. Like most of us I wasn’t born with much more than a loving and decent family. And like my family I had to learn how to work for any little thing I had. And I always have. Sure we were not “poor” in the sense that my parents could afford to take me school and I went to some pretty good schools but bottom line- you had to work”

Madame boss singer Akothee is currently receiving treatment at an unknown hospital moments after she revealed to be unwell.

The singer says that her busy schedule and workaholic behavior is the reason she is currently in hospital as she collapsed and fainted due to lack of sleep and rest.

A drunk Otile Brown allegedly runs over two people – speeds off

Word making rounds on social media is that Otile Brown allegedly run over two people on a motorcycle – and just like any other reckless drunk driver, he sped off without checking out on the victims.

The news about his careless driving has been spreading on most social media pages with others claiming he rammed into the two men intentionally – something that has left many talking.

However according to one video creator Edgar Obare Otile Brown had been drunk while driving and this is how the accident came about.

Anyway, the victims are currently receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital after reporting the matter to the police.

“ Motherhood is H.A.R.D!” Says Kambua

Gospel singer Kambua has officially come out to admit that motherhood is not as easy as most people tend to think!

After welcoming her baby boy about 4 months ago, the singer seems to have understood what most ladies go through after becoming mothers.

In a well detailed post Kambua opened up about her undying love for her son, Nate and went on to add that despite the hardships…she would never trade her new life as a mother for anything else. She went on to write saying;

Eye bags. Burp on nearly all my clothes. Soiled diapers. Still, I wouldn’t trade this new adventure for anything. Motherhood is H.A.R.D! But oh so rewarding. Who knew that something as natural as breastfeeding could be so daunting? Or that sometimes your little one will cry and you’ll end up in tears yourself? Who knew that sleep could become such a luxury?

“I have been aging backwards” Bahati’s baby mama parades her gorgeous petite body

Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura has definitely been hitting the gym judging from her latest photo shared on Instagram.

Just like most ladies, after welcoming her baby Mueni, Yvette struggled with baby fat that didn’t seem to shed off as fast as she wanted.

In one of her old posts, Yvette revealed that things were not as rosy for her since she also got postpartum depression that left her in a compromising position – especially with the newborn and her father who had not spoken to her throughout her pregnancy.

However after things started working out in her favor, the mother of one decided to concentrate on herself.

Yvette Obura says she felt that she had to really commit to an intense fitness and nutrition plan to reach her pre-baby weight. It wasn’t easy, as her diet was extremely strict but the hard work helped her reach her weight loss goals.

Just a few hours ago the mother of 2 opened up about her struggles with child birth for the second time. Just like when she was pregnant with Ladasha Belle, Size 8 battled with hypertension again – something that almost cost the singer her life.

Through her Instagram page Size 8 shared a short clip from her YouTube series ‘The Muraya’s” narrating how hard her pregnancy was for the second time.

According to reports, the two had a bitter split after Pastor Kanyari was exposed for being a fake pastor stealing from innocent people looking for salvation at his church.

Speaking just recently Miss Bayo shared a few words of advise to women who are stuck in violent relationships and marriages. According to Betty Bayo this is one of the few mistakes she made in her previous marriage since she did not have the strength to walk out.

 “I’ve learnt marriage is not easy. I have learnt to forgive and let go. No one wants to marry anyone who is embarrassing you on TV. If it’s not working, just let go. The mistake I made was to get into a marriage without really knowing my partner. I didn’t take my time to research the background. I didn’t consider things like character, personality. We differed in a lot of things. Every topic was an argument.”

Speaking about the domestic violence and killings reported around the country; Betty Bayo says that women should walk away to avoid the unexplainable from happening. She went on to add;

Sometimes, agree to disagree for the sake of the kids. I’m sad to see all the killings on TV. I decided to walk away and in the beginning, I didn’t want any support because it was not about the money.

Producer Magix Enga has been forced to go private on Instagram shortly after Uno was deleted from YouTube.

This comes shortly after the music producer called out Harmonize for allegedly copying the beats he used to create Uno.

Harmonize’s hit song ‘UNO’ deleted from YouTube over copyright issues

A few days ago Kenyan producer Magix Enga called putting Harmonize for allegedly stealing  the same beat he used on ‘Dundaing’ to create ‘Uno.’

The producer went on to issue a warning asking Harmonize to pull down the song however seems that Konde Boy assumed the request and chose to remain silent.

Enga on the other hand went on to share a post where he wrote;

  “Week Imeisha and The song Uno is no longer on YouTube Don’t sample magix Enga Beats. I repeat, dont! Like I said i’m not going to allow this to happen not in 254”

Well, UNO is no longer available on YouTube! It seems that the video was finally pulled down  for copyright reasons.

To announce the news, Magix Enga went on to write saying;

Khaligraph Jones girlfriend reveals more details about giving birth—and says ‘It was hell’

Khaligraph Jones baby mama, Georgina has never been one to hold back on anything; and the way she talks about her birth experience is apparently no exception.

On Tuesday Georgina shared what delivering her daughter, Amali Jones Ouko felt like. This was during one of her Instagram stories where she opened up saying that it felt like hell but recovering after birth was even worse.

Though it sounds like she didn’t have the most comfortable delivery, Georgina had  shared that she had an extensive of friends and family in cheering her on through the pain, including her man who also remains very supportive when it comes to taking care of their daughter.

5 months later

Well since Georgina had a natural birth, it’s expected to undergo some of the pain she went through — however what is important is the fact that she walked out alive with no complications.

Baby Amali is now 5 months and judging from the photos shared on social media by her parents we can all agree that they are doing an amazing job!

Actress Catherine Kamau has lately been making headlines on most tabloids thanks to her gorgeous baby bump!

The actress who is also a wife and mother to a handsome baby boy could not hold back her joy as she went on to confirm that she was pregnant with her second child just a few weeks ago.

This came as a surprise to many since she kept her pregnancy on the low until it started showing. Her fans on the other hand went on to congratulate her for baby number 2 and of course her pregnancy glow!

Anyway, about 13 years ago Catherine Kamau got pregnant while in college back in Uganda and being young, the lass could not face her parents who later on came to learn that she was expectant.

However, thanks to her supportive parents she managed to welcome a handsome baby boy — who is currently her favorite person in the world.

Wema Sepetu has been struggling to get pregnant for years now and things seem not to be working out as planned.

For the past few months Wema Sepetu has made sure to lose her excess body weight as her doctors promised this would make it way for her to conceive.

In a new post shared on Instagram by the actress, Wema Sepetu finally got a chance to open up about the love she has for her best friend’s daughter.

Thanks to a detailed post shared on Instagram page, Wema Sepetu wrote saying;

Singer Vivian reveals the biggest challenge facing her union with Sam West

Singer Vivian and her husband Sam West finally got to open up about their relationship as a married couple almost one year since their tradition wedding which was held back in  March, 2018.

Speaking to Betty Kyallo during her Up Close show, the Hero Radio CEO cum comedian and wife singer Vivian opened up about their family and some of the challenges they have been facing ever since their union.

According to the couple, raising kids from their previous relationships has been one of the toughest things to do.

This is because their kids were used to different lives before — and now are forced to live under the roof as siblings making it hard to connect. Sam West went on to open up saying;

“One of the key things with blended families, you have to understand who you are. You are different species, it is not a normal family. Because one you are trying to connect with your partner as two individuals and now you also have other people as well. You have a child, she has a child and the two of them also have to integrate.”

Singer Vivian on the other hand went on to add that parenting someone else’s child is hard especially when it comes to disciplinary matters. The singer went on to say;

“We have different ways in which we were used in bringing up our children differently, so that is also an issue because maybe there is something he will see maybe me and Natalie and he will be like why don’t you try this and it’s easy to take offence with that. And maybe I will do the same with him and Ty and it’s a girl and a boy, so also their behaviours are completely different,”
