Diamond Platnumz says he is lucky to have had his ‘playing’ days and still managed to walk away with no STI.
The Bongo singer revealed this while speaking with students at Musoma Utalii College in Tabora; now that he is an advocate for safe sex in a campaign between Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) and Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (TACAIDS).
The singer goes on to admit that he has been reckless with the ladies but is one of the very few to have walked away without any STI or HIV. He went on to say;
“If I must be honest I played around. I played a lot but was lucky enough to escape without any consequences.”

Now that he says Tanasha Donna is the right woman to settle down with; Diamond Platnumz can’t help but look back and count himself lucky and now that he see’s the risks of unsafe sex….he will not be going back to that life!

Zari Hassan recently shocked many after exposing a few details about her former relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
Apparently after calling off their relationship, seems that Diamond Platnumz took it too personal that he started avoiding his kids.
From the interview we understand that the Bongo star last saw his children in October when he passed by Pretoria, South Africa after a show in Namibia.

Anyway Diamond Platnumz has come out to address the issue about his kids now that the public sees him for who he is.
Call it damage control or good PR team but the singer stated that he will not be discussing anything about Zari now that she is someone else’s woman.

Brown Mauzo has been one of Kenya’s bongo artist. He has struggled with the high tides in the industry which is dominated by Tanzanian musicians. Although Brown Mauzo is talented he is derailing in climbing the ladder.
Mauzo has a good voice, great artwork in the way he writes his music. My only question is why is his music stagnant?
The kind of music he doe is accepted well here in Kenya morose when done by an artist in Tanzania. What is happening to Kenyans? As much as Mombasa is a Swahili dominate city, Brown rarely gets even 100k likes on youtube.
This is very depressing for an artist who has given music his all. I mean look at the efforts he is putting in. To start with he has had a couple of radio tours but nothing is improving. Could it be that Kenyans are very mean? Or they do not feel his vibe?
What Should Brown Mauzo Do?
Firstly, I feel like Brown Mauzo should re-strategize in the way he does music. What exactly do I mean? He needs to change his style. Who knows that this could be the only way he can win back his fans.
Even with all the fame Mauzo needs to seek collaborations with big artists. It is high time that he left Kenyan artists be and merge with Tanzanian Bongo artists who are really taking the stage. He should not concentrate more on Kenya but on the platforms where Bongo music is appreciated.
In addition to that, it is not a must for him to concentrate more on Bongo music. How about he tried another genre? This guy is super talented. Most of this musicians do not listen to their fans. This could be the only way they ca be relevant.
Brown Mauzo long ago was doing so well, I wonder what changed a long the way. His music has become stagnant and his name is no longer growing. You’ll agree with me that he just needs change.
In collaborations, he seems to be doing better. His latest single Aniote has not even hit 50k views.
Ghetto anthem artists are like ‘Small Kiosks’. It is a time when new age music is really taking over the Kenyan music industry. This is the kind of music that we refer to as ghetto anthems. We are a time where content does not matter. Everybody is singing about sex, drugs, women and twerking.
To start with, today everybody is forming a group in their hood and before we even know it they have a song. It is said that music is an art and it goes hand in hand with talents.
We have producers who have really tried to promote our musicians and it is a good thing. We are only lacking honesty to tell people that what they are singing is trash. First, we need to ask ourselves which direction our music should go.
Why are they Like small kiosks?
To start with we all know what kiosks are. This are small structures either in an estate or at the side of the road. They are so many that they have to compete for customers. In the same ghetto anthem artists can only be compared to kiosks. Why? Today we have more than 10 groups all singing in the same style.
With this I call them kiosks because we are tasked to choose where we should buy or invest our energy. I mean look at all this people

Am stressing this because we are at a time where everybody thinks when you have the microphone and followers, you can as well sing. Singing well in the shower makes one a musician or being born with this good voice as well.
Why is she an amateur?
Tanasha is pretty good looking girl and I love the way she’s humble especially to her allies and on the social media. But I think one should tell her the truth. Let her sing some good sense. Its okay she doesn’t want to be a star as she said. She’s more into the craft but what are we selling or how are we portraying our music to the outside world.

However, what many didn’t know is that Githeri man had been struggling with alcoholism. During an interview done a while back, Kamotho says he started drinking back in 1989 and had been unable to stop.
President Uhuru steps in
Luckily President Uhuru Kenyatta instructed Kiambu Woman Rep Gathoni Wamuchomba to find Kamotho and ensure that he got some help.
Githeri man was then taken to Mama Care Recovery Centre where he was receiving his treatment. When asked about his plan, he went on to say;
“I am very grateful to the President for helping me to deal with alcoholism. I promise not to let him down. I have come here to change. I will go home a changed man. I don’t want to be a slave of alcohol. I want to be a new being and go back to my job.”

Seems that Githeri man is back to his old habits judging from the new photos making rounds on social media.
The guy is seen dead drunk on a trolley confirming that indeed everything is not well. Alcoholism is not a laughing matter and if anything it is now evident that Martin Kamotho is really struggling despite his efforts to change.

Vanessa Mdee went on to add that they have been apart for 9 months now and just like everyone else, she found out about her exe’s new lady via Instagram.
