Harmonize’s protegé Ibraah releases first single ‘Nimekubali’ (Video)

Konde Gang’s first signing Ibraah has released his debut jam barely a week after he was unveiled to the public by his boss and mentor Rajab Abdul Kahali, better known as Harmonize.

The song titled Nimekubali, which is a Swahili word that means I have agreed, is a love song and it talks about a guy who is telling his lover to part ways with him because he feels like they are forcing things.

He said that although it will take a long time before he forgets about her, he has accepted that they can never be one and the best thing is to forget about one another.

Although I’m not the biggest fan of Bongo music, I must admit that I really love this track. I’ve listened to it a couple of times and every time I hear it, I love it even more.

Ibraah has an amazing voice and I’m not saying this to annoy Diamond Platnumz’ fans who are reading this but this lad can really sing.

Just like Harmonize, he knows how to express himself through his voice and using words and you sort of feel like you have a connection with him, it’s as if you are tapping into his emotions.

To add to that his voice is a bit hoarse and I guess that makes it even more pleasant to listen. He also has a wide vocal range.

The beat and instrumentation on this track are impeccable. Other than the fact that they make the song catchy, they also blend well with Ibraah’s voice and tempo.

I absolutely love the video, especially the story line. One can easily tell what the song is about even if it’s muted and if you ask me that is awesome. The dramatization, scene transitioning and locations were also dope.

Award-winning Tanzanian singer Rajab Abdul Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, has released a new track with Nigeria’s Skales and it’s getting a lot of love from their fans.

The jam titled Rumba, which is off Harmonize’s Afro East album, has been ruling the airwaves since it came out and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

If you are a fan of both Harmonize and Skales, like this writer, then I am sure you know that this jam is so dope even before you listen to it. I mean, these two are some of the biggest continental acts.

This track is so infectious. I have listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, it is like I’m hearing it for the very first time.

Harmonize came through on this jam. God gave him an amazing voice and he knows how to put it into good use, take for instance this song where he does an exceptional job on his verse as well as the hook.

This guy sings from his heart and as you listen to him, you get to connect on a deeper level. At some point, it felt like a live performance of the song but then again maybe it’s just me.

Skales didn’t disappoint either. He is also a talented musician who knows how to control his voice. To add to that, he and Harmonize are like a match made in heaven seeing how well they gel.

The beat and instrumentation on Rumba are on point. Other than the fact that they blend really well with the voices of the artists, it is also danceable and I honestly can’t wait to see people busting moves to it.

Okay, it is no lie that most of these Instagram super models with curves; and light skin tones catch most people’s attention on social media.

This is probably because of the outward appearance but the problem comes in when most talk about natural beauty; hence instilling insecurities in young girls looking up to them.

Guess what happens when two of East Africa’s finest artists release a jam together? Yup, you are right. It’s absolutely fire and that is exactly what Harmonize and Khaligraph have done.

The two multi award-winning musicians have released a song dubbed Die and believe you me, it’s the best thing that you will hear today.

The song, which is off Harmonize’s album titled Afro East, has sampled a bit of Wyclef Jean’s Sweetest Girl, a track I am sure most, if not all, of you familiar with.

Die is really infectious, I have listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, it’s like I’m hearing it for the very first time.

Harmonize came through on this jam. God gave him an amazing voice and he knows how to put it into good use, take for instance this song where he does an exceptional job on his verse as well as the hook.

As expected, Khaligraph Jones brought his A-game in Die. If you are huge fan of is like I am then I do not need to tell you that he has a dope flow. His wordplay skills are also on point and you just want to keep listening to him.

To add to that his style blends so well with that of Harmonize and if you ask me, the two artists should do more jams together because why not?

Although the beat and instrumentation is that of Sweetest Girl, it was modified a bit and the result is excellent. I will obviously retain this song on my playlist for the rest of the year.

Sarah Michelloti is in trouble for being disrespectful towards Mama Harmonize as reported!

Apparently the Italian lady recently left Mama Harmonize’s blood pressure shooting for the sky – after she shouted at the old lady.

It all started after Mama Harmonize travelled to Dar Es Salaam where she normally buys chicken for her farm.

However, things did not work out fine as she walked into her son’s compound unannounced, a move that left Sarah angry!

As reported by an alleged house girl working for Harmonize and Sarah; this is not the first time Mama Konde boy is facing her daughter in laws ugly side.

Apparently Sarah is known for her hot temper not forgetting her drinking habit that leaves her portraying her worst behavior!

Word has it that Harmonize is not a happy man and after the last incident involving his mother and wife; the singer refuses to go back home.

It’s not clear as to whether Harmonize’s wife is pregnant with their first child; but rumor has it that she could be and this is why he recently announced that she will not be tagging along during his shows.

However, barely than 6 months after their wedding Harmonize has been rumored to be warming his video vixens, Nicole Berry’s bed; an issue that left Sarah showing her ugly side at the middle of the night!

Turns out that Harmonize has not been home for a week now and is said to be living with Nicole Berry! Thanks to a video circulating on social media, Sarah is believed to have stormed to the video vixens home where she caused quite a scene!

Although Sarah is not seen on the video shared on Instagram; Harmonize’s close friends have confirmed that the voice heard screaming and calling Nicole’s name is indeed Sarah’s voice.

Say what you want about Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz, but the fact remains that he’s one of the greatest musical acts of all time.

When all is said and done, people will remember him for making great music and pushing the limits pretty much the same way we’ll never forget about the likes of 2 Pac, Michael Jackson or Papa Wemba.

His private life is a mess, there’s no doubt about that. However, when he comes to music, Diamond Platnumz doesn’t play. He puts his best effort and perhaps that explains why he is getting gigs all over the world.

People who know him describe him as a hard worker and a perfectionist. If you are keen, I’m sure you’ve noticed that he always has a new song out every two or three weeks. That way, he’s always on everyone’s lips.

I really admire Diamond Platnumz and if you ask me, there is a lot that other artists can learn from him if  they want their music to transcend borders.

Other than the fact that he has an amazing voice, the musician who is also known as Chibu is an rounder entertainer and this is something that other artists lack. Heck, even his love life is interesting.

About a week ago, I wrote an article where I tried to explain why Chibu should be afraid of Harmonize. My reasoning is that the former has learnt most of the things that he knows about music under Diamond Platnumz’s wings.

As such, I believe a day is coming when the student will outsmart and going by Harmonize latest moves, I think he is the only artist who can take Diamond Platnumz head on.

Being an African and able to meet your needs while overseas, especially in the first world, takes sweat and time. Most Africans resort to odd jobs to be able to meet their daily needs while abroad.

Some tend to the elderly, others have to clean the streets, others are even long-distance truck drivers while others just turn to God.

Unless you are a brand or hailing from a well-off background, it is tough out there.

In his recent release, ‘Mama’, Harmonize sought to explain what exactly goes on in the lives of Africans living in the first world, in order to put food on the table.

He’s also a dope lyricist and perhaps the best thing about this song is that it is easy to memorize so you will know the whole of it after listening twice, maybe thrice.

The jam titled Inanimaliza, which is a Swahili word that means it’s finishing me is off Harmonize’s album Afro East and it has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few days ago.

Maybe you can already tell, maybe you can’t for one reason or another but Inanimaliza is a love ballad. It talks about a couple that is going through tough times and hurting because of waht they feel for each other.

In the track, Harmonize narrates how he felt the first time he saw this lady and how they fell out. It is his wishes that things could go back to the way they were but it seems impossible at this point.

Although I am not a huge fan of Bongo music, I really love this jam. I don’t know about you but I think it’s infectious, it is the kind of song that will make you text your ex and tell her that you miss her or slide into your crush’s DM.

Harmonize has an amazing voice and as you listen to the jam, you can tell that he is really sincere about the way that he feels about the lady in question. Notably, he also knows how to control his voice.

Mr Blue really spiced up this jam with his rap. Otherwise it would be just another love song. This guy has an amazing flow and you just want to keep listening to him as he does his thing.

Of course, I absolutely love the instrumentation in this jam though I have a feeling that some of you will say it’s slow. However, I feel it works.

Men out here are ready to make a living out of anything and if you ask me; this is the same thing Harmonize imposter was up to thanks to his striking resemblance with Konde boy!

This past weekend a video of a lady seen beating up Harmonize look alike spread like wild fire on Instagram. Well, apparently the lady was duped into believing that the guy she was involved with is Harmonize!

According to the lady, the fella approached her through his Instagram page where he introduced himself as Harmonize. Seeing such a big celebrity in her DM, she had no option but to quickly pounce on the opportunity of dating the star!

However thanks to a short press conference, the lady finally came to learn that her Harmonize was actually fake!

As seen on the viral video, the angry lady attacked the impostor beating him up for lying to her about his identity; which lured her into a relationship with him. In the video the lady yelled out saying;

Speaking to the press interviewing him, Harmonize’s look alike went on to explain himself saying;

He went on to refute claims that he had lied to his woman about being Harmonize! However something about his video seems cooked up since almost 99% of Tanzanians know who Harmonize is; so would it be so hard to differentiate real and fake? Who knows!

Diamond Platnumz should be very afraid of Harmonize

Diamond Platnumz has been the face of Tanzanian music for a long time and I feel that is about to change thanks to one Rajab Abdul Kahali, known to you and I as Harmonize.

The two artists are cut from the same cloth and perhaps this explains why Diamond Platnumz devised all manner of tactics to frustrate Uno hitmaker’s efforts to exit WCB Records.

They appeal to the same audience and it would have been much easier for Diamond Platnumz to have him under his nose where he can sort of control and monitor what he is putting out.

But now that Harmonize is a free man having paid a Tsh 600 million – approximately Ksh 26.2 million – fine that was imposed on him for exiting WCB Records, Diamond Platnumz should be very afraid.

The truth is that Harmonize is a hard worker just like Diamond Platnumz and the fact that he had been working with the latter for so many years even before we got to know about him means that he has learned the ropes.

He knows what it takes to be at the top and he’s going for it. This is evidenced by his recently released 18-track album titled Afro East which features the likes of; Morgan Heritage, Khaligraph Jones, Phyno, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy etc.

The album is doing very well and it’s what everyone is talking about, including Diamond Platnumz himself as he took to Instagram to congratulate Harmonize for the huge milestone.

If you ask me, this album would not have been delayed if Harmonize was still at WCB Records because you are sort of not allowed to outshine the boss.

There was a time when the likes of Mr Nice, Matonya and Ali Kiba were the faces of Tanzanian music and I feel that a similar coup is happening at the moment and before you know it, Diamond Platnumz will be long forgotten.

Harmonize must be proud of the far he has come! He started off as a simple guy with a vision of venturing into the music industry; but was shut down during the auditions of Bongo star such back in the day.

He struggled as hawker but finally got his breakthrough after meeting Diamond Platnumz. He however says that despite leaving Wasafi records he will continue being grateful for the help; but as for now he prefers being an independent artist.

Anyway, leaving WCB was however not an easy task as he had to pay Ksh 26 million in order to walk free; and at the same time get full rights to his YouTube channel that was being managed by Wasafi records.

His relationship with Diamond Platnumz also changed as seen on social media. These two big artists from Bongo could not hold back from throwing shade at each other on social media before it started getting boring.

Anyway as Harmonize celebrated his 29th birthday on 15th March; his old buddy Diamond Platnumz joined the many fans sending birthday messages to Konde boy.

Through his Instagram page Diamond went on to promote the Afroeast album leaving fans excited! Although Diamond Platnumz did not caption his most with an emotional message, showing support for his old best friend seemed enough!

Harmonize responds

Well, having come across the post Harmonize told journalists he is grateful to everyone who has been supporting his music throughout the years.

However since many had come out to show their support on social media; Harmonize added that he was able to thank everyone individually but as for now all he could say is ‘Thank you.’

Word making rounds is that Diamond Platnumz has no beef with Harmonize!

This is after the singer went on to celebrate Harmonize’s new album through his Instagram page; where Simba shared a post promoting the Afroeast album.

Diamond Platnumz message however came at a time when Harmonize was also celebrating his 29th birthday! Many fans are now assuming that this was Simba’s way of marking his old friend’s birthday. Platnumz wrote;

The two old best friends parted ways in 2019 but unlike most men, seems that Diamond and Harmonize attracted a lot of drama after harmonize quit Wasafi records!

The two artists engaged in an online word battle that led to the two dissing each other through their music. It is not clear as to why Diamond Platnumz got bitter with Konde boy after quitting his job at Wasafi.

So far fans from both camps have been battling it out trying to prove who is the king of Bongo music!

Konde gang CEO  Harmonize must be nursing a black eye – judging from a video showing how he was punched on the face while performing in Mbeya, Tz.

According to reports, the unknown fan jumped on the stage where he tried to grab one of Harmonize’s chains from his neck.

Unfortunately for him, Harmonize was on the alert as he moved back hoping his bodyguards would step in; but sadly the fan still managed to smack him on the face!

Although Harmonize still has a huge following and supporters despite leaving WCB; we also understand that not all his fans were happy about this.

Unlike before Harmonize these day’s prefers walking around with many bodyguards since his haters seem to be on the rise!

This is however not the first time the singer is battling a fan while performing on stage! Back in 2019 Harmonize was forced to push off a fan who interrupted his performance while in the presence of Tanzania’s president, Magufuli among other dignitaries.

Former WCB member Harmonize who is the new and only CEO of Konde gang has given many a reason to talk after parading his new tattoo.

The singer who has been doing rather well with his music paraded the new tattoo on his page; and now fans feel that the elephant tattoo is a symbol of greatness!

Posing shirtless, one of his friends took the picture getting a clear shot of the design. Indeed his new tattoo is one of kind and not even the likes of Simba have managed to get such quality tattoos!

The singer went on to say that this is because he now wants her to enjoy her role as his wife; while he steps out to make more money for her and their future children.

Former WCB member Harmonize has announced that his wife will no longer be seen during his concerts like before.

Speaking to Bongo 5, the singer went on to explain that they have both decided it would be better for her to stay away from his events; as he hopes to treat her like the queen she is!

Not quite sure whether this is the real reason or whether they are already pregnant with their first child and want to hide it from the public; but we are yet to find out! He went on to say;

Harmonize drops new classic tune ‘Hujanikomoa’ (Video)

Award-winning Tanzanian musician and songwriter Harmonize – real name Rajab Abdul Kahali – has released a new track dubbed Hujanikomoa and it’s getting so much love from his fans, even his fiercest critics.

From the little Swahili that I know and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, Hujanikomoa means ‘you don’t pull it off’ or forcefully removing something or someone from a certain place. Does that make any sense? I hope it does.

This is a love ballad of sorts. Harmonize is telling a certain lady that she has not succeeded in pushing him away and she is just making things worse.

To be honest, the first time I listened to this song, I was kind of astonished but I guess I came to love it the more kept listening to. The sound is different from the Harmonize that we’ve become used to in the last few years.

His style in this jam is heavily-influenced by Chakacha and not Afro Bongo like is previous releases and that is why it might take some time before the song resonates with you but once it does, you won’t stop playing it.

This jam is infectious. Other than the fact that it’s well-arranged I just love how simple it is. I bet he composed it and shot the video in less than two days.

Like I mentioned earlier, I love the instrumentation especially because it’s different from the norm. It’s not what you would expects someone like Harmonize to use to make a hit song but he did just that.

The video concept is also effortless but impeccable. It was shot in the hood and as you’d expect, there are some ladies who are shaking their derrieres like the world is coming to an end.

Harmonize comes through with ‘Litakufa Jitu’ alongside Country Boy and DJ Seven (Video)

Award-winning Tanzanian singer Rajabu Abdul Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, and his coutry mate Country Boy have been featured by DJ Seven Worldwide on his latest track and it’s a big tune.

The song dubbed Litakufa Jitu has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

I have listened to this jam a couple of time since it was released and every time I play it, it’s like I’m hearing it for the very first time. Yup, it’s that good.

The main reason why I can’t stop listening to this song is because I love Swahili rap. All the artists who were featured in Litakufa Jitu. Actually, they even surpassed my expectations.

For instance, who knew that Harmonize has a dope flow? Okay, I know most if not all of you have heard him sing but did you know he can actually rap? I bet you didn’t.

He totally killed it in this track and is perhaps the reason why I can’t stop listening to it. His flow and punchlines are out this world and maybe, just maybe, he should consider switching to rap.

Country Boy and DJ Seven Worldwide also did a good job, especially the former. He has a unique ability to play with words and make some dope rhymes.

Although I did not really like the beat, I feel it was not that bad since it blends well with the artists’ styles and as well as their tempos.

Money moves! Harmonize lands lucrative deal

Konde Boy aka Harmonize is currently making money moves after exiting from the Wasafi Classic brothers music team.

So far he has been in and out of Tanzania as he prepares to drop his album soon and word has it that it will feature several Nigerian artists; who have worked with him before.

In an interview done a while back, Harmonize went on to reveal that he had several projects that aim at helping those living in poverty in Tanzania. He has a few trucks helping distribute food to the families living on the streets in Dar Es Salaam and hopes to expand to other towns soon.

The Konde gang CEO is now the brand ambassador of Sayona Twist. He will be representing this nonalcoholic beverage from the Sayona Drinks Limited since he once revealed that he does not take alcohol.

Jalang’o reveals the main reason why Harmonize did not perform in Mombasa

Word has it that Harmonize’s manager did not come out clean about the main reason that led the bongo singer not perform in Mombasa on 31st.

Apparently the organizers decided to deduct some money from the fee that he was to get for the show. Well, according to Jalang’o the money that was deducted was to help fix the Range Rover which he had been rolling around with after landing in Mombasa.

Reports indicate that Harmonize was responsible for the Range Rover’s damages since they were caused by his fans who were fighting to grab the money that the singer was dishing out.

Konde Boy aka Harmonize has never taken any alcohol….well that’s according to his latest post shared on Instagram.

Turns out that Konde Boy prefers having fun at clubs but unfortunately – he is not one to partake in alcohol.

Why Harmonize had to undergo rituals before his New Years show

Singer Harmonize left many shocked on 31st December after a video of him performing a ritual – to protect himself from being bewitched, killed or ruined by his enemies emerged online.

From the stories making rounds on social media, this ritual was apparently done in front of a huge crowd which consisted of his fans, the media and his management in order for word get out just incase his enemies were thinking of destroying his career.

The videos and photos making rounds on social media show the singer being smeared with a goats blood around his forehead and chest area.
