Content creator Sammie Kioko has strongly criticised what he describes as a growing trend of organised groups being used to fuel political violence, warning that the situation is both dangerous and unacceptable.
In a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Kioko said violence stemming from political differences reflects a deeper failure in leadership and society. He emphasised that no individual should face harm for expressing their views.
“Violence over political differences is not good, it’s failure. No one deserves to be beaten,” he stated.
Rising fears over intimidation
Kioko pointed to recent incidents as evidence of a troubling pattern, alleging that certain groups are being mobilised to intimidate and silence dissenting voices through fear and force.
“What we are seeing is the rise of organised intimidation — goons trying to silence voices through fear and brutality,” he said.
He stressed that the issue goes beyond political disagreement, describing such actions as criminal and a direct violation of fundamental rights. According to him, the use of violence to control opinions undermines freedoms and creates a climate of fear across the country.
“This is not just wrong, it’s criminal,” he added.

Call for accountability
Kioko urged authorities to act swiftly, calling for those involved to be identified and arrested without delay. He warned that failure to take decisive action could embolden further acts of violence.
“Authorities must act decisively to identify, arrest, and hold every perpetrator accountable,” he said.
He also underscored the importance of safeguarding free expression, noting that every citizen has the right to speak without fear of attack. According to Kioko, remaining silent in the face of such incidents only allows the problem to escalate.
“Every citizen deserves to speak freely without fear,” he said.
Push for justice
Concluding his remarks, Kioko called for urgent action, warning that delays in justice risk eroding public trust and enabling the spread of fear.
“Justice cannot wait, and silence cannot be an option,” he said.
