Tanzania’s Roma and AB Nabil drop another love sensation “Down low”and its totally worth your time

“Down low”is the latest jam to be released from Tanzania by celebrated artists AB Nabil featuring Roma.

Roma and AB Nabil have dropped this new jam in the middle of a Pandemic creating a form of entertainment for their fans. I mean who wouldn’t want something to dance to in this times?

The two are a good blend vocally have served their fans quite a tune. The song brings a familiar tune “Katika” by Navy Kenzo in the chorus to mind plus Roma sounds a lot like Professor Jay who is now a member of parliament in Tanzania.

Roma is a rapper that has clearly stood the the wind of time as he keeps doing good music by the day.

The three minutes song is in Swahili and English and a little of Rwandese.

AB-Nabil takes this first bit of the song

Mimi napenda ukijogodo jogodo mama eh

The way you take it down low down low mama eeh

The song is basically a feel-good song.

The video is simple without much dance, from the title of the song one expects that there will be some serious dancing all the way ‘down low’ but surprisingly there is none of that. The vixens could have done better on this. Anyway, the video is rather calm for the title.

AB-Nabil has been in the industry for slightly more than two years and has done several songs including: Mfata, Runyenyeri, Najua unanipenda, Ndagushaka, Monica, Kananipenda, Tulia, Come Close, Sofia, Usichoke among many others.

Roma on the other hand has had a few songs with his greatest hit being “Naitwa Roma.”The artist who has occasionally been accused of running away from Tanzania his home country.

The two artists still have a lot room to build their brand each and do collabos with the many East African artists. With both having a good number of fans who are very supportive within East Africa the two are set and on the right track.

Roma doing what he does best in ‘Anaitwa Roma’

Roma is back with bhang in new tune dubbed Roma. He has brought on board One Six. To start with, this guy just takes the waves by his voice and his style of music.

Roma is fearless and he speaks his mind in his music. He is not taking things easy and he is also not scared of what he will bring on.

In addition to the powerful Roma and One Six’s voices, they speak of the challenges that are going on. In Anaitwa Roma he focuses on a government that has failed its people. Though Tanzanian, I feel like the message is also relevant for Kenya.

In Anaitwa Roma is a political song that is attacking the government of Tanzania

With the first approaching Tanzanian elections, Roma asks God to bless the people of Tanzania so that they elect the best leaders.

To add, he says that the tears of the people of Mtwara will not let the leaders rest in peace. He says that the people of the country if they support the oppressors they are already corrupt.

In addition, he also talks of the farmers and business people in Tanzania who deliberately refuse to give the opposition votes.

The dude has captured his fans attention not only Tanzanians but also Kenyans. In his audio, he says that people have been asking why he is not singing.

Simply this is a political song. He brings in some issues in a very sarcastic way, like in the line he talks of a government that has given women voices.

The sarcasm comes in because women do not get to win those seats as they are taken by few who know the powerful.

To add on, Roma goes Biblical in Anaitwa Roma. He talks of paying taxes just like Ceaser and also talks of Jacob.

In conclusion, Anaitwa Roma by Roma is such a powerful vibe in any African in matters election and it gets a rating of 8/10.

Rostam is at it again with a new banger ‘Kijiwe Nongwa’

Rostam is back with a new banger dubbed Kijiwa Nongwa. The talented singer features Nay Wa Mitego. Rostam is a combination of Roma and Stamina.

To start with, we are used to a Tanzania where all artists in Bongo sing about love. Here is a rapper who will gladly change your opinion about music. Rostam’s work is well crafted. Ever heard of super lyrics? Well everything lies in his work.

Rostam are always giving out their best to their fans. Although they are not very famous, their songs got strong message. Firstly, we are going to look at some of the lines and get the meaning.

Message and relevance of ‘Kijiwe Nongwa’

For starters, stanza one sets the pace for the song. Alikuja kama masii tukamchangia sadaka Tukamwona nabii aliyeshushwa siku ya pasaka Tukamtolea na zaka ili kanisa lijengwe Eeh-eh na bado wakamlaza nabii kifo cha mende. Actually, you are going to notice a Biblical aspect in this verse. Pasaka which simply means Passover is a Biblical word.

To add on, lets get what is in stanza two; Hivi unamkumbuka babu? Babu wa Loliondo Ah-ah yule mfugaji mwenye bleach la kikogo Watu wamekufa, watu wamefungwa, watu wamepoteza biashara Sasa umekaribia uchaguzi amerudi chama tawala. Also you get that in this stanza they are talking about witchcraft and how it has left people dead and closing of businesses.

Thus with the issues articulated here, it is right to say that the song is relevant to today’s generation. Further into the song, I feel like he is targeting a certain group of musicians and leaders in Tanzania.

Msanii wa bongo Roma sasa hivi anaonekana kufanya vizuri na wimbo wake mpya aliouachia mwezi Agosti 10th.

Baada ya kuweka wimbo huo YouTube mke wa msanii huyo, Nancy, alitoa ahadi ambayo iliwaacha wengi wameshtuka mitandaoni.

Kulingana na Nancy, video ‘Zimbabwe’ mpya ya mumewe ikipata kufikisha views milioni moja angempa style zote.

Kuolewa na msanii ni kitu ngumu sana kwani unapaswa kuwa na subra ya kuelewa kuwa hiyo pia ni kazi. Hata hivyo mke wa Roma ameonyesha kukerwa na mwanamke aliyemkalia Roma wakati alipokuwa akipiga show yake ya kwanza tangu tokeo lake la kutekwa miezi kadhaa iliyopita.
