“I tried calling your name but you only gave me cold eyes,” heartbroken Sandra Dacha mourns the late Othuol Othuol

After spending countless days and nights beside Othuol Othuol’s hospital bed when he was still alive, former Auntie Boss actress Silprosa aka Sandra Dacha is struggling to come to terms with the comedian’s tragic death.

Sandra was one comedienne who time and again would update fans on the late comedian’s health status and would occasionally be spotted visiting him in hospital.

But the mere fact that he is no more, completely breaks her down.

Her tear-jerking posts

“Where do I start!!!” penned a devastated Sandra, who could hardly explain herself or even what just happened. Even forced to address the issue in her mother-tongue if it could help.

“Do I type REST IN PEACE???” she questioned. Sandra, who was pictured standing next to Othuol Othuol’s hospital bed yesterday, explained how she tried calling his name severally but with no response.

“Your hands were telling me to go away…you did all that ndio utuwache Othuol?????” she cried out.

It is a reality that Sandra is battling, having spent the last couple of hours, breaking down to tears, while still in denial that such a close friend was no more.

Following his unexpected death on Sunday, October 11 at 3pm in Kenyatta National Hospital, his body was then ferried to the morgue, a place Sandra visited, that left her totally crushed.

“My heart is heavy Osiepna,” she mourned.

Born Ben Maurice Onyango, the Churchill show star bid the world goodbye barely aged 31. This was his second time at the facility after suffering from brain tumor complications.

In a press statement from the Chairman of Comedians in Kenya society, Ken Waudo, arrangements are underway to inter Othuol’s body in his ancestral home at Alego, Siaya.

An upcoming rapper has blown the Internet away after his super duper fly freestyle went viral across the Internet – and even caught the attention of many industry heavyweights.

The rapper, going by the name Brian Black (ironic, you’ll later know why) has become the latest talk of town after blowing the interwebs away with a freestyle that is so fresh, so sleek, so effortless, you can’t help but bop your head and jam along.

Brian Black, however, is not your average rapper – he’s Albino, and his condition alone, he says, once almost made him give up on rap after a ‘top Kenyan rapper’ told him off for his skin pigmentation.

After attending a well-attended talent event in one of the City universities, the event organisers called upon talented rappers and singers to show off their thing for the crowd and the assembled judges.

A bunch of upcoming rappers stood up to freestyle and battle it out on stage. Brian Black was one of them.

The competition started off with a bang, it later got hotter and later got too fast and too furious – only two rappers would now be left on the stage to battle our for the crown. And Brian Black ultimately won the day.

But even after putting on a hell of a show, spitting the fiercest rhymes and receiving the wildest cheers, one of the event’s judges, a top Kenyan rapper, approached Brian Black and told him to his face;

“Kijana uko poa, rhymes uko nayo, but na hii industry ya Kenya akuna mtu atakuskiza because of a few things… But the main is that we are used to dark skinned artists, You won’t get the attention you need. Your videos ain’t gonna be played cause you don’t look like “us” Bryan… “.

Those words depressed Brian Black and sent him to a dark place.

But now, months after the depressing night and dampening words, Brian Black has emerged from his shadows, fresher, stronger and better than ever.

Brian already has caught the attention of top Kenyan Celebrities including comedian Zeddy, Joe Muchiri, DJ Shitti, Sam West, Vivian and Otile Brown.

Well, Kenya may not ever have had an Albino rapper but that doesn’t mean that Kenyans are not ready for one.

Funny man Mulamwah and Kamene Goro have always had bad blood; and the unfortunate part is that we have no idea as to why they insist on hating each other.

Well, their beef started off immediately after Mulamwah decided to ‘quit’ comedy following hurtful comments from bullies on social media. While everyone else pitied Mulamwah, Kamene Goro on the other hand decided to clap back; exposing Mulamwah as the biggest bully.

Since then, the two no longer see eye to eye; and once again they are back at it. Earlier this morning, Kamene Goro went on to weigh on the public breakup between Mulamwah; and girlfriend, Sonnie – which was a bad move. The presenter said;

4 Kenyan journalists caught on camera wearing shorts or sweat pants during live broadcast

Not once, not twice have journalists been spotted on camera sharply dressed in suits, only for the cameras to give the wide view and everything goes bazaar.

So what happens, is, the news anchor in question, has their formal shirt and tie in place, complete with a coat, only for it to turn out that the guy is either having some funny color of shorts on the bottom or some loose sweatpants.

1. Larry Madowo

During his time at NTV, back in 2016, Larry pulled a first one after appearing during 9pm news bulletin in a half-suit and red shorts during a live in Mombasa. He paired the attire with some sandals.

The guy is fond of the habit, just the other day, while broadcasting for BBC News right from the comfort of his home, the kid had a formal shirt and a coat on but below put on some grey shorts. Hilariously captioning: “When you’re going live on TV from home but might hit the pool after”.

2. Salim Swaleh

The NTV’s senior journalist’s case is something that went viral, anchoring 7pm news bulletin from his home’s sofa but when you just thought he had taken it so seriously, the guy later appeared on full screen with only a pair of shorts on his bottom.

3. Willis Raburu

Raburu’s case is just an exceptional one. The guy more often than not prefers his sweat pants to any formal trousers, but he can keep up with the formal shirt, coat and tie. Not once, has the guy been spotted wearing sweatpants during a live broadcast.

4. Mark Masai

The popular NTV journalist was recently anchoring the 1pm news bulletin from home, but opted to ditch the formalities for a more casual home-like look. With his white shirt, tie and waistcoat on, the guy had grey sweatpants on his bottom paired with red slippers.

Comedian Mulamwah and lover Carol Sonnie are no longer an item! The popular funny man confirmed the news shortly after blogs learnt that his lady unfollowed and deleted all of their photos from Instagram.

At first, this seemed more of a clout chasing move; only to realize that the break up was real and as serious as a heart attack. Mulamwah shared the sad news through his Instagram page where he shared a moving letter dedicated to his ex, Sonnie.

Former Tahidi High actor OJ has been having it rough ever since he became a famous actor. According to him, being a celebrity made him overlook the fact that life is always changing as time goes by.

The 35 year old media personality opened up about his past life through his YouTube show. Speaking for the first time, OJ admitted to having been an alcoholic and unfortunately all the money he made during his acting days was squandered in alcohol.

According the fella, during this phase he never thought of putting anything on the side; or even setting up a business to ensure all his earnings are invested somewhere.

but it came and went. As fast as it came as fast as it left. But as soon as it went, I went into a downwards spiral…then I went into drinking, at that time nimeget my son Ethan, Baby Mama. Former TV anchor Janet Mbugua has been keeping a low profile until just recently when she shared a post announcing that she had been hospitalized.

As seen on her page, it appears that she may have had a few issues with her health; but after seeking medical attention, she hopes all shall be well.

Size 8 reborn has for the first time responded to controversies surrounding her marriage with DJ Mo.

The mother of two came out to admit she was hurting following claims backed with evidence that her saved husband, had been having sexual affairs outside their marriage, unknown to her.

Controversial socialite, Shakilla has penned a disturbing message filled with regrets, following her viral interview with Kamene and Jalas, yesterday.

An interview where Xtian was painted ‘the bad guy’ who was taking advantage of a young 19-year old Shakilla to build his own brand, while destroying her reputation.

Shakilla’s regret letter

After coming to her senses and realizing the damage she had caused, Shakilla took to her IG page to pen a long message of regret revealing “she has been feeling so damn empty and cried a lot of tears”.

Not because of trolls or anything, but because she had ruined the solid, well-natured relationship she had molded with “her friend and net dad”-Xtian Dela, all in the name of an ‘interview’.

Churchill Show stand-up comedian YY took many by surprise after recently taking over Jalango’s interview where he was the guest.

YY born Oliver Otieno started by narrating how he had to ran away from the hands of his no-nonsense uncle in the middle of the night, in order to pursue to his dream career – comedy.

Having to spend nights hopping from a friend’s single-bedroom to another, because he just had nowhere else to stay.

Doing up to roughly 16 episodes on Churchill show before he could get aired on TV. That meant he had to survive on his friends for several months until he made a career breakthrough.

YY’s eventual breakthrough

Which he eventually did after staging a show on Churchill where he was impersonating fellow comedians, that immediately went viral.

That is when an excited Jalang’o asked the 28 year old to imitate one or two comedians including DJ Shiti, Owago Onyiro, Fred Omondi among others.

Only to soon after imitate Jalang’o himself that saw him kick his feet in the air full of excitement, giving YY the honors to take over the show for several minutes.

You’d actually mistake the interview for a comedy show, with YY being the main act and all that Jalang’o needed to do was make sense the humor and laugh his lungs out.
