There is a Swahili saying that says kubeba mimba sio kazi, Kazi ni kubwa; and believe me the person who came up with this knew what they were talking about.

It’s been 8 months since lady Mandy and Fancy Fingers we’re blessed with an adorable baby boy; but since his arrival – Mandy says she feels burnt out from all the sleepless nights, baby sitting shifts among other struggles new mums face.

For sure life has now become extra especially with her husband working late at the studio; which leaves her handling the baby even when her body feels like shutting down. Speaking about this journey, Lady Mandy wrote;

New born experience

Apart from the fatigue, there are a few more struggles Mandy has had to put up with; but hey – it’s motherhood and like it or not – it never gets easier.

Through her gram, the young pointed out some of these ‘struggles’ and how she has handled them saying;

1. The difference between baby IN and baby OUT is like day and night. No one or thing really prepares you.

2. Breastfeeding is natural but not automatic

3.Parenthood is a ” Magigal Ghettaux ” kicks your ass more times than you would like to admit and fill your heart with love more than your little heart can seem to handle

4. Your child is the best teacher you ever thought you would have

Mandy went on to add;

5. The most overworked and in high demand muscle is TRUST

6. Get comfortable with vulnerability

7. It feels like you are in a strange body before and after baby too. Don’t know when this ends

Weuh: Kalekye Mumo reveals why mum warned her against marrying men from Nyanza and Western regions

Being an 80’s baby means Kalekye Mumo grew up at a time when most parents preferred their kids settling down with people from the same tribe.

Marrying an outsider was more like trying to get disowned by your parents; and I believe this is how tribalism in Kenyan was born.

Speaking during her KM radio show; Kalekye for the first time opened up about her mother warning her against settling down with men from Nyanza and Western region.

From what Kalekye says is that her mum; was afraid of her marrying someone who could not speak the same language as her (kalekye).

My mum told me once, usiwai leta mjaka, mtu wa western kwa hii nyumba. Afadhali uolewe na muindi. Akasema what she knows of those people, you don’t understand them, what they speak, they are different, you can’t.

Generational teachings

Speaking about this, Kalekye revealed that such lessons always left her in an awkward position; now that she had to ask everyone she was interested where they came from. She went on to add;

So, at the back of my head as much as I’ll meet someone, I’ll start to ask them where they are from because that thing was put in my head from when I was a young person. Unagrow ukifikiria hivyo na ukimuuliza sana anakuambia hivyo ndio grandmother yake alimuambia and it was a big deal.

But with time, Kalekye says she grew up and was now able to make her own decisions; without having the judgmental advices passed down to her form her grandmother and mother.

I will still date them, I will still get to know them but in getting to know them, I’m more interested in you as a person, that doesn’t say anything about the tribe, that doesn’t mean juu mmetoka hio area mko hivyo because every different home is different.

With all this said and done- we are still not aware as to whether Kalekye decided to get married on the low; or is just enjoying life like everybody else.

Politician cum lawyer socialite Karen Nyamu has toned down her noise since baby daddy chose to stick with his wife and not her – but si ni life? So far she has stopped causing trouble for the Mugithi singer; but at least she has learnt to accept her position in her life.

With her focusing on the right things – Ms Nyamu is now giving fans a chance to know her better; and the best part is that we get to learn the person she is when not angry and causing trouble for the people responsible for her kids.

Away from that, Ms Nyamu recently opened up about her young months old baby; who she considers as a blessing and the best part of her life. The city lawyer revealed this in a new post where she gashed over her handsome son saying;

Sometimes when i look at my children i dont believe i have my son. Its still surreal and too good to be true! Who can relate? The beauty of life is how unpredictable it is. There are pleasant surprises in all our journeys.

A God given gift

Although Karen Nyamu already had a daughter from her previous relationship with one handsome DJ; it appears that Sammy Junior is the jewel decorating her heart. In the same post Ms Nyamu went on to add;

Mr Seed is about to welcome another child but not with his lovely wife; but a side chick identified as Swabrina who he planted a seed in – no pun intended!

The story shared on Edgar Obare’s page caught many peoples attention and the fact that the side chick was ready to share more details through her gram; let’s just say bloggers have been having a field day!

So far the lady claims Seed sent her 4K for an abortion which backfired; and unfortunately he continues to insist on her terminating the pregnancy but Swabrina says she will not be risking her life for the second time.

As seen in a new QnA post shared on Swabrina’s page; most fans seemed interested in knowing how far along she is, and whether she will be keeping the baby.

Responding to those criticizing her new lifestyle, Vanessa through her page has hit back saying;

‘I was a walking zombie’ Avril talks balancing motherhood and her music career

Motherhood is no joke. In fact, I don’t think there is anything harder than handling a toddler; but I’m told – teenagers are actually worse once they hit puberty and high on unnecessary hormones!

Anyway Singer Avril recently held a candid interview with one Ala C; where she opened up about her school life, growing up in Nakuru, music journey and finally – the hardest of them all – Motherhood!

Although many assume motherhood is easy to cope up with; truth is its actually harder than a 9 to 5 routine job. And thanks to Avril’s latest interview; she actually explains this better. Speaking her experience Nyambura said;

Pressure, and stress, You should respect mothers. When my son was a day old its when it hit me that I no longer had a say.

Adding that motherhood needs selflessness saying;

It would always be about him as he now fully depends on me. In the beginning, I was a walking zombie because I could not get enough sleep. Even now I still survive on very little sleep as I also have to chase my dream.

And;

Balancing motherhood and work can be confusing and it’s easy to become depressed as one learns on the job.

Decision to embark on motherhood journey

Although Avril prefers keeping her private life off social media; the singer for the first time shared a little information on why she chose motherhood over her career saying;

I was very ready to be a mum. I HAD BEEN READY 5 years before I became one.
But I never had someone stable in my life. I wanted someone stable in my life so we take care of the child together. So when the person I am dating came into my life the situation felt right and he also wanted it.’

It appears that Bishop Godfrey Migwi who doubles up as a radio presenter has decided to join politics after years of serving as a servant of God.

Just like Bishop Magret Wanjiru – the controversial preacher has shown interest in becoming a member of parliament by securing the Mathioya parliamentary seat come 2022.

With Kenyans singing Fagia wote – the man of God has seen an opportunity to venture into the world of politics; hopefully with dreams – of changing the society for the better.

From servant of God to servant of men

This comes after many Kenyans on social media expressed their disgust with the thugs claiming to represent their constituencies; but in real sense are stealing from the common Mwanainchi.

So far Pastor Migwi has a billboard announcing his announces bid for Mathioya parliamentary seat. His slogan ‘a sober leader with vision’ points out that he is ready to step in and work for his Mathioya people; but until then, all we have are promises.

Anyway – as for now we cannot tell which party he will use to vie for the seat; but until then, let’s see what the man of God is willing to offer his in terms of development.

Rose Muhando has seen it all. From being bewitched to being accused of using drugs and through it all; none of her so called loyal fans nor sponsors showed interest in finding out what was happening to her.

People spoke a lot, they said I was taking drugs. I wondered because I don’t even know how drugs look like, what colour they are, even my doctor was very surprised because those rumours really went viral.

However speaking during a recent interview with Wasafi FM, the gospel singer opened up to reveal what really happened to her back in 2010; a time she could have made a name for herself and good money – thanks to her gospel hit songs such as Nibebe that gained recognition in East Africa.

During the interview, Rose Muhando went on to reveal that her career was ruined by her manager; a man of God who had taken it upon himself to manage the singer.

However what Rose did not know is that she had walked into an opportunist trap; but later on she learnt the hard way.

According to Rose Muhando the guy managing her not only held her hostage for months; but threatened to kill both her and her kids if she did not give up the money she made through her Utamu wa yesu album.

The gospel singer narrated the torture she faced back then saying;

I was beaten up, my blood was flowing all over. The producers who were there witnessed everything. I went through a lot of challenges.

She went on to add;

They put a gun on my head, asking for TSh15 million. They told me to say my last prayers and I started praying. It was raining. It was in a forest. They warned me against reporting and told me they would kill me if I did.

5 year old tortured

Apart from her sister being dragged into the nasty experience; Rose Muhando went on to add that these thug managers put a gun inside her her 5 year old’s mouth – an experience that the small child will never forget.

After dealing with me, the manager rushed to my house where he found my sister, house manager and my 5 year old child. He then threatened them with a gun but for my they chose to place a gun in his mouth just to prove what they were capable of if we report them.

She however thanked her Kenyan family and fans for stepping in when everybody gave up on her; and now that she is slowly getting back to her old self – Muhando says she will make up for the lost time.

This however comes as a big surprise to fans who were excited for Yvette; especially after her tough past following heartbreaking separation with Baha back in the day.

Mr Seed must be a serial cheater because this is not the first time he is being exposed of cheating.

However this time around things are different as he impregnated his side chick; who exposed him with the help of blogger Edgar Obare.

Of course fans love Obare’s tea – and thanks to his exposè – we now understand why; Nimo Gachuiri has been spending most of her time at her parents home.

Shortly after side chick ‘Swabrina’ accused Mr Seed of impregnating her and asking for an abortion; gospel singer Nimo who is Seed’s wife maintained her silence until later on when she shared a video hanging out with her siblings back at home.

“I’ve come to hold the industry by storm. My fans will enjoy my best all through the year.”

One step at a time

According to him, a forest is not developed in a day; a saying he uses to encourage the youths on the importance of practicing patience; and developing their skills first before launching out in any endeavour, as he said,

Kansiime opens up about crazy-hard pregnancy journey

Pregnancy is different to each and every woman. There are those who have an easy time while others struggle from the word go; and the worse part is actually a few weeks to giving birth.

Well, Anne Kansiime who had been praying for a child was recently blessed with a bouncing baby boy; who she named Selassie Ataho which means My sins have truly been forgiven.

Having been accused of offering her womb to Illuminati practices – this was indeed a blessing for Kansiime; until she started joking about her pregnancy journey that may leave a few wondering how pregnancy works.

Most difficult part of pregnancy

Well, apart from the usual morning sickness, cravings and unexplainable fatigue; Kansiime says the most challenging part was when she couldn’t reach her own bum.

True story, when pushing a belly as big as a watermelon- most pregnant women find it hard to reach their behinds; making it hard and uncomfortable to even use the washroom.

Speaking about this, Kansiime said;

It was all fun and games til I couldn’t reach my own behind well well to clean it.

Well, I can bet it’s not only Kansiime who is complaining about such experiences during pregnancy; but I guess she found the birth experience more frightening….compared to the journey experience.

Willis Raburu took a few months off social media to focus on himself especially after his nasty divorce/break up with ex wife, Maryaprude.

For some reason Maryaprude made it seem like Willis was to blame for whatever happened to their marriage; but hey, ni life! Away from that Willis Raburu has been off social media for close to 3 months now; and thanks to a new photo we understand that he took time off to work on himself!

By working on himself, I mean both emotionally and physically that is judging from how skinny he now looks; and boy is he fine! Thanks to a new photo shared on his page, Mr Raburu is seen looking quite skinny and yes – he worked on his fat which had now turned into muscles.

Introducing his new image, Raburu wrote;

Anerlisa Muigai and family mark first death anniversary of late sister, Tecra Muigai (Photos)

Yesterday marked the first death anniversary of Keroche heiress, Tecra Muigai’s.

A beautiful soul and a beauty that was reported dead last year on 2nd May; following an unexplained staircase accident that cost her life.

Being the daughter of Keroche Breweries owners; of course her death had to be investigated by the best especially after the postmortem examination indicated that Tecra might have died from trauma to the skull.

Her lover Omar Lali was then arrested and detained as the murder investigation went on; and in a couple of weeks he was released following court orders; as their was no evidence to tie him to the murder.

Celebrating 1 year

It has however been a year since Tecra was declared dead and although this was one of the toughest times in the Muigai’s family; on Sunday 2nd 2021 they all gathered to celebrate their lost daughter in a low key event held at their home.

From the posts shared by elder sister, Anerlisa Muigai – we understand that the event was attended by only close friends and family. In one post share wrote;

The scariest thing about life is that you don’t know the hour nor the day you will breath your last. May we all turn to God.

“He visits the children while drunk” Jemutai shares more dirt on Prof Hamo

3 years ago Jemutai denied having a relationship with Hamo shortly after a blogger outed that the two already have a child together. Since it wasn’t the best time -especially with both their careers doing so well; they didn’t want to have their lives investigated by gossip tabloids.

Baby number 1 happened and then there was the second born who is a stunning little girl and surprisingly looks everything like her dad. Her arrival however came with challenges, that is judging from the story told by Jemutai’s friend.

After welcoming the second child; Jemutai says this is when Prof Hamo started pulling the deadbeat dad move. According to mother of two, the fella stopped visiting the children and was not paying rent where his kids were living.

By this time she was however jobless and helpless since Jemutai had already quit Churchill show – to avoid scandals and being exposed by her colleagues.

Drunk and irresponsible dad

However according to Prof Hamo, his wife back in Nakuru always makes sure that his other two kids (from Jemutai) are well taken care of. ~~Who speaks like that?~~

With his post, it appears that Hamo angered his baby mama Jemutai who in response called him out for lying; and above all neglecting his children. According to the lady, Hamo last visit to his kids was in April when he pulled up at 2AM, drunk and disorderly. She wrote;

The last time Hamo aliona watoto that is Jeremy and Kayleewas in October last year before he moved out from then he has only appeared in my house 4 times all at night earliest was 10PM and last month he appeared at 2AM all the times he comes drunk as hell.

Watoto wagani hukuwa awake at 2AM in the morning. The man shows up bila ata maziwa the only time he came with something was the last visit na alileta only 2 Oreos.

Comedians Jemutai and Professor Hamo had apparently been seeing each other on the low; and to our surprise, the couple even has 2 kids already- meaning this was serious than we actually thought.

The only problem is that after the fun and games – prof Hamo aka Herman Kago; decided to walk out of his second family with Stella Jemutai Koitie living them in debt, stranded and worse – his two children hungry.

Unfortunately, having been the one to suffer with the kids and being evicted with no where to go; of course Jemutai clapped back with unknown stories about her baby daddy – leaving many quite surprised.

According to the lady – Hamo has been neglecting his children for a while now; and the last time he visited them – all he brought was two Oreo biscuits for the kids. The angered mother of two wrote;

Seeing that this family issue was going to ruin both Jemutai’s; and Hamo’s (mostly) careers; the veteran comedian stepped in to help these two not to destroy each other in broad daylight.

“I need space and privacy” Ben Pol speaks after divorce turns ugly

Tanzanian singer and actor Ben Pol is allegedly going through a tough time after choosing to divorce Anerlisa Muigai.

Although we are not aware as to why the perfect match decided to part ways; word has it that there were red flags way before the wedding even went down. However, having met a man who can love and treat her like a princess; Anerlisa Muigai fell in love and along the way decided to become a wife to the Bongo singer.

Unfortunately the union was only temporary and what’s more surprising is that Anerlisa has already started to move with Ommy Dimpoz; the man allegedly warming her bed for the mean time.

Well, since most break ups end up getting ugly; Anerlisa recently confirmed that she is on her own – and wishes not to be associated with anyone (Ben Pol and Ommy Dimpoz) for the sake of her peace mind and sanity.

Nazizi has opened up to explain why she wants her earlobes to stretch out like of Maasai women; and women from the Mumbi who found beauty in expanding their lobes.

In a detailed post shared by Ms Nazizi, she started off by sharing a little history about her origin; and surprisingly, turns out that Nazizi is mixed. She opened up about this saying;

Thought I’d share a little bit of my family history and origin of my name. My Father @firozhirji is half Indian and half Tanzanian. His father came from Kolkata and his mother from Mbozi which is in Mbeya , Southern Tanzania. He named me after his grandmother. Na is the title for the first born daughter followed by their mother’s name .

Meaning is Nazizi

According to Nazizi, her parents fortunately gave her a Swahili name when everybody else was busy giving their kids English names. For this reason, she remains attached to her roots and culture; something not many youths can brag about;

The literal meaning of my name is Na ( first born daughter of..) zizi ( root in kiswahili) . Hence I am the first born daughter of root. That’s why I’m super proud to be the ROOTS DAUGHTER. I’m so proud that my parents gave me an African name in those times when English names were the norm.

Reasons for stretching her earlobes

Explaining why she wants to have large earlobes, Nazizi shared a photo of her old grandmother; the lady she is said to have taken after and went on to say;

So many people have asked me why I’m Expanding my ears. My answer CULTURE. My grandmother and my greatgrandma Nazizi had theirs ears expanded traditionally.

And lastly;

We have reasons to believe that Mr Seed is officially off the market after walking down the aisle with the mother of his child; and long term girl Nimo Gachuiri.

The two love birds shared a similar photo shot from the alleged wedding; and truth is, Mr Seed looked fresher than we have ever seen him before. He is seen dressed in a Boggi blue pinstripe Classic suit; and his dreadlocks well arranged unlike his usual shaggy style.

To caption this stunning photo the popular singer wrote;

Mzazi Willy M Tuva opens up about rejection and betrayal from his first love (Video)

Love is a beautiful thing and Mambo Mseto East Africa’s presenter Willy M Tuva can tell you this for free. According to the guy – he first felt ‘love’ in class 7 after coming across a beauty identified as Saddah.

From how Mzazi Willy M Tuva describes her; there’s no doubt that she was stunning something like Nurulain – an Angel that fell from heaven. For a class 7 boy or rather Child to see such beauty means that this was love/crush at first site.

Having met during music festival for a poetic competition; Mzazi says that he made it his goal to bag this young lady despite his young age. However, having grown up in Lamu his task to win this young girl’s heart was not so easy.

This is because male and female children are prohibited from mixing following the Islamic teachings practiced in the coastal region; and despite being Christians who were born and brought up in Lamu – Mzazi could not escape from this culture practiced by their parents and ancestors.

The rejection

According to the radio presenter, Saddah was not an easy catch as she always played hard to get. This however never stopped him from chasing and wanting her to be his woman.

From class 7 to his high school days, Mzazi kept chasing the young lady; and somehow he managed to win her over. Probably because he proved himself by the consistent chase; love gestures (letters) and the fact that his eyes were only focused on Sadah.

To cut the long story short – Mzazi opened up to reveal that despite his efforts to study hard and settle down with Sadah; another man came into the picture and married the love of his life while he was in Campus for his media and communication studies.

According to Mzazi – losing his first love could have been contributed by Saddah’s single mum; who probably wanted her daughter to settle down with a ~~stable man~~ (truck driver) who would also provide for their family.

The lesson

Karen Nyamu is not going to have an easy time on social media anytime soon; and we kinda blame her for that.

I mean, forcing a man to claim her in public left her looking like clown; and the worst part is that he (Samidoh) refused to claim her – leaving Ms Nyamu looking a side piece who does not understand her place in his life. Ouch but true.

With everyone looking at her with judgey eyes; Ms Nyamu still can’t find a place to bury her face – but clearly her PR team has really helped in controlling the damage she caused while still in her feelings obsession with Samidoh.

Lately all fans do is wait for her to post a photo; then they start attacking her. Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai has finally confirmed that she is now a divorced woman; or rather is currently in the divorce process as she recently signed the separation papers from singer Ben Pol.

This however came shortly after the Bongo singer blasted her for being unhappy; and at the same time dragged fellow singer Ommy Dimpoz into the whole mess.

According to a post shared by Ben Pol we understand that he accused Ommy of warming his ex wife’s bed; and God having created man with jealousy – it’s obvious see that this deeply hurt Ben Pol.

Not involves with anyone

However now that Anerlisa is no longer Ben Pol’s wife; the lass see’s no use in being dragged into unnecessary drama. For this reason the Keroche heiress made it known that she is now a single woman; and will not tolerate any gossip shared by her former in laws.

It’s over and done! After weeks of rumors claiming that Anerlisa Muigai and Ben Pol were getting a divorce; turns out that it was true and the divorce process has been completed.

This comes hours after Anerlisa Muigai was linked to yet another Tanzanian artist; Ommy Dimpoz – who is said to be the new man warming Ms Anerlisa Muigai’s bed.

Through his gram, bitter Ben Pol not only threw shade at Anerlisa for being rich but lonely and desperate at the same time.

The singer went on to link the Keroche heiress to Ommy Dimpoz saying;
