Zari Hassan and Diamond Platnumz have had their share of drama on social media. Actually their break up became trending news in East Africa as many could not believe that she dumped the singer; just when fans were waiting to witness the biggest wedding in East Africa.
Just a few months into the break up and rumor had it that Zari had been asked to vacate the South African house Diamond Platnumz had bought for his kids. At the time Zari Hassan did not talk about the alleged issue but a few months after receiving the notice; Zari packed her bags and moved together with her kids.
When you look at the events it’s easy to say that the rumors claiming she had been kicked out were true; and the fact that she remained silent about the issue went on to confirm what gossip tabloids were reporting concerning her bitter break up with the singer.
Zari finally speaks
However this past weekend, the mother of 5 held a candid interview with Wasafi media where she got an opportunity to address the allegations.
To our surprise, the boss lady denied being kicked out or Diamond Platnumz denying her access to the property. According to Zari Hassan, at the time she was moving – the boss lady had already bought a house for herself; to avoid the silly comments from Diamond Platnumz fans asking her to vacate their house. She said;
I was at a point where I could afford to buy another house when people stared saying ooh toka kwa nyumba yetu, sijui nini. But Baba Tee has never told me to move out of that house. Even now he knows that am renting out that house and am taking rent money, because that house he bought it for the kids. It’s the only property they have in South Africa under his name, so I still get rent money form there.
