Victor Kanyari, the founder of Salvation Healing Ministry, has prayed for a young man seeking deliverance from what he described as an eight-year struggle with masturbation.
During a church service at his Njiiru-based church on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the preacher addressed the young congregant directly, describing the habit as both a personal and spiritual challenge that required prayer and intervention.
Kanyari told the congregation that masturbation can affect a person’s natural desire for a partner and described it as a spiritual issue that should be confronted through faith and prayer.
“You mean you have been masturbating for eight years? Masturbation, because I know some of you, my church members, don’t know, is where a man finds ways to satisfy himself sexually. And that means he may never have the desire for a woman,” he said.
According to the preacher, the young man had travelled from Kitale in Trans-Nzoia County to seek spiritual guidance and prayer at the church. Kanyari said the effort showed the man’s determination to overcome the habit.
“It’s a spirit, and this young man has come all the way from Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, to seek my prayers. Imagine, he has travelled all the way and spent his fare to come and seek my help,” the pastor stated.
During the prayer session, Kanyari led the congregation in a spiritual intervention, invoking God’s name as he prayed for the young man to be freed from the habit. In a video later shared on TikTok, the man is seen collapsing to the ground as the preacher prays and church members join in.
Kanyari used the moment to address his congregation about personal struggles related to sexuality, urging believers to approach such challenges with prayer, understanding and compassion rather than judgement.
“And because of that, I declare that the spirit of masturbation is done, and I declare an end to that spirit now in Jesus’ name. Now I pray for the spirit to vanish and depart from this man,” he said.
Naipei’s Warning After Joining Kanyari’s Church
The prayer session came days after social media personality Marion Naipei, who is associated with Kanyari’s church, issued a warning to people who do not give offerings in church.
Speaking during a TikTok Live on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Naipei said she was frustrated by criticism from online users who advise her despite not contributing offerings themselves.
“You guys are all over here lashing at me, yet you never even give offerings in church. You do not give offerings, I am sure. And that means you are living on mercy,” she said.
Naipei argued that many people criticising her online fail to support church activities financially and suggested that their wellbeing depends on divine mercy.
“It’s only that God feels like giving you chances; otherwise, some of you would have very bad lives or some of you would even be dead by now,” she added.
She also dismissed advice from critics urging her to stop talking openly about the support she receives from Kanyari, including claims that he helps cover her bills and school fees.
“And don’t even lecture me or tell me to stop bragging or anything. Such advice makes me bored and even angry,” she said.
