Mother boils stones as food for her children in Kisauni, Mombasa!

Mothers never loose hope; and if they do, they would better fake it just to avoid letting their children see them suffer – and now I bet this what motherhood is all about.

A lady by the name of Peninah Kitsau from Kisauni Mombasa has left many in tears after her story of how she boiled stones for supper was aired on NTV.

According to the details shared on the video circulating on social media – Peninah who is also a widow says she had no food to give to her children; and her only solution was to keep them waiting as she boiled stones giving them hope until they finally fell asleep.

Joho’s project to provide food a scam?

Anyway this comes barely weeks after Joho and his PR team went on to make noise announcing; they were now working on providing food for the less fortunate in Mombasa now that all businesses and jobs have been closed due to Coronavirus.

During his press conference, Joho revealed that the government had provided Ksh 200,000,000; to help provide food to vulnerable families. He went on to add that the county government had received over KSh 100 million in donations to help in the coronavirus crisis.

In his speech the governor made it clear that his team had already identified which families to help.

As a county we have been able to set aside KSh 200 million to help in feeding our people, we have also received donations worth over 100 million, we also have food donations from our local business community.

which brings us to why Peninah was not among them!

We have sent teams on the ground to collect data in order for us to know where they live and how they live before we can start distributing what we have.

With this, Kenyans are now demanding an explanation – which of course they won’t get. However come 2022, I’m pretty sure Kenyans will be revising notes taken during 2020: as money allocated to help fight coronavirus and still help unfortunate families is disappearing on breakfast and among other things.

Radio Africa CEO Patrick Quarcoo loses wife to cancer

News reaching us is that Patrick Quarcoo, the man who founded Radio Africa Group, has lost his wife to cancer.

While the details are still scanty, a source who preferred to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal told Ghafla that his wife had been ailing for a long time before she passed away.

She reportedly had stage 4 cancer and had been admitted at Nairobi Hospital where she gave up the ghost on Tuesday, April 28.

Her death comes as a big blow since it is barely one month since Quarcoo lost one of his closest friends, former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore to cancer.

Quarcoo, Collymore, Scangroup CEO Bharat Thakrar, Peter Kenneth, Nic Hailey, Aly Khan Satchu and KCB CEO had formed what they referred to as the a boy’s club before the latter died.

Anita Soina is clearly a fan of the Wasafi team and if I am not wrong; most Tanzanians who know her would definitely categorize the lady in the groupies zone!

The lady is popularly known to leave comments under the likes of Lava Lava, Diamond Platnumz and other Wasafi members. And with this kind of fan love, well I bet Anita Soina is ready to risk it all to make it to the WCB circle!

Anyway, the lady this time around ended up getting bashed after stepping in to defend Diamond Platnumz; who was being called out for being a dead beat dad by yet another fan.

The lady identified as Shan went on to tell off Wema Sepetu for praising the singer in her detailed post; where she (Wema) celebrated Mondi for offering to pay rent for 500 people from Bongo.

However just like Zari, Shan was not impressed by the fact that the singer was dishing out cash; yet his children were busy struggling with their mothers out here after the singer abandoned them.

The comment definitely sparked an argument among many including Anita Soina who stepped in to defend Diamond Platnumz. According to the deleted comment shared by Anita, she did not see anything wrong with Diamond Platnumz spending his money anyhow he wished.

Sadly, the lady clearly proved that she did not understand the type of struggle most singles mums out here; have to put up with men neglecting their responsibilities. In her defense Anita said;

Diamond Platnumz finally talks to his children 2 years after dodging them!

Diamond Platnumz recently revealed that he reached out to Zari after she threw shade at him for acting all giving; yet he doesn’t know how his children Tiffah and Nillan have been surviving!

This came shortly after the singer announced he would be paying rent for 500 people in bongo; as a way to give back to the community as an offering during the holy month of Ramadan.

In his detailed post, Diamond Platnumz went on to open up saying;

Although I am amongst those affected by this pandemic, with the little that God has blessed me with, I have decided to at least offer a helping hand by paying 3 months house rent to 500 families as my kind gesture of helping one another during these terrible times of fighting COVID-19 for I believe I should share your troubles and your happiness too.

However, this move left Zari feeling bitter as Diamond Platnumz was clearly selling a dream; especially since he had been dodging his Kids who are living in South Africa with the boss lady.

In response to this post, Zari Hassan did not hold back from reminding Diamond Platnumz that charity begins at home. In a post shared on her Instagram story, Zari threw shade at her baby daddy saying;

Okay the trolling, name calling and trolling little children should stop! Keyboard warriors hiding behind their computers and phone screens should be ashamed for picking on small kids who barely understand anything!

After Mr Seed and his wife came out to reveal that they are a few characters here and there who have been abusing their son Gold; another parent, Yvette Obura has also come out to reveal that she has also been receiving such comments about her daughter.

As seen on her post, Yvette Obura not only poured out her heart to the young girl; but also shared a few tips teaching her daughter how she will manage to over look the hate speech and hate on social media once she is older.

The pollution will kill us! Why Greatwall Apartments are in the headlines yet again after Ruth Matete’s case

Days after Ruth Matete’s husbands’ death, Greatwall apartments, an estate in Athi River where the two lovers lived, has returned to the headlines yet again.

Athi-river residents are complaining about the Estate’s new expansion which is being done by a Chinese company even after they were ordered to stop.

The company, known as Edermann Properties, has repeatedly been stopped from building Greatwall Phase 3 but have continued operations.

Residents complain that the house will be dangerous because they will be right next to several industries emitting dangerous chemicals. They have also accused the Chinese there of polluting the environment.

According to court documents, the Environment Tribunal and Land Court had barred the company from constructing over six hundred housing units holding the area is an industrial complex.

Amazingly, China's Great Wall isnt visible from space but China's pollution is visible from space.

The estate returns to the news just week after Matete lost her husband John Apewajoye in a gas accident.

She was summoned to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters where she spent hours responding to questions. It was the second time the officers were talking to her after her hubby’s death.

The detectives also went to Matete’s home to collect more evidence to establish events that preceded Apewajoye’s death.

Erdermann Properties Head of Planning Mr John Rajwayi; during an interview maintained they had put in place an elaborate sewerage system complete with storm water drainage system. And once completed it will effectively put the contentious matter of sewage disposal to rest.

He said Erdermann was the first to raise the issue of pollution of environment by LDK after tenants complained of foul smell from the liquor factory.

The mother of 5 revealed this through her Instagram account where she went on to make the announcement. According to Akothee she misses being pregnant and since she can’t travel to perform anywhere; the only thing she now craves is pregnancy which will keep her busy.

Barnaba Classic drops another song “Muongo” the lies in love

Tanzania’s Barnaba Classic is back to the music scene with another exciting jam “Muongo”. Muongo is Swahili that loosely translates to Liar.

He did a song that revolves around heartache and unfulfilled promise of love.

Barnaba highlighted the plight of a young man broken by a woman he thought he loved. He was lied to!

In a way Barnaba went deep to reveal how broken he is for being played. Sounds familiar huh!

For Barnaba, he was working hard to be the man she always wanted. However he comes to realize they have been three of them in the relationship.

I mean his lyrical prowess cannot be dismissed.

He has a simple groove to hi lyrics that makes it easy for fans to relate to. If you are a keen listener you’d get his lyrics almost immediately.

Yes we love them and just for as a by the way…Mammito is proving to be one of the most hilarious female comedians we have come to see in the entertainment industry.

However these two have always opted to keep their relationship on the low; but being celebrities, it’s quite hard to keep bloggers away.

Anyway, just recently I bumped into a short video shared by one of their friends; and for the first time we finally get to see the two getting cozy together! Well just by looking at the photos below it’s evident to see the chemistry between the two comedians.

Settling down

We can however not confirm how serious the relationship is; but having dated for years only means that they are thinking of settling down together in the near future as time is no longer on their side.

Mammito on the other hand seems like one perfect wife material who knows how to keep chasing her own money; unlike most ladies who would prefer to enjoy the lime light without bringing anything to the table!

Butita has also been chasing his money through his several projects including Campus tours that have helped build his brand. He is no longer just the dark comedian from Kayole but also an artist who has released one project so far.

Mwana FA reveals how he beat Coronavirus after testing positive 8 times!

After fans started questioning about Mwana FA’s where abouts; the Bongo singer surfaced yesterday to reveal that he was doing fine and is now coronavirus free!

According to Mwana FA who had an interview on Clouds FM, he went on to reveal that it took him 28 days in isolation for him to recover!

The singer went on to add that things got worse for him after he forced to take several Coronavirus tests; and unfortunately it took him 8 tests for him to test negative.

Speaking to Clouds, Mwana FA went on to add that a test was only carried after 72 hours, which forced him to stay longer in isolation.

Nimekaa siku 28 kwenye isolation, nimepimwa mara 8 hadi kupatikana negative, mara zote nilizopimwa nilikuwa napatikana positive na ukipatikana positive wanakaa masaa 72 hadi kukupima tena! Naweza kusema ni kama huyu mdudu alining’ang’ania.

Fully recovered!

However through it all, Mwana FA has finally recovered and is now back to living his normal life! Just recently he was caught on Camera dinning with some of his friends.

Anyway while responding to a question posed by one of the Cloud FM’s presenter, Mwana FA confirmed that he was now better. He went on to speak saying;

This comes barely 24 hours after fans and a few friends came out questioning where Mwana FA had disappeared to; shortlists after announcing his Coronavirus results on social media.

He is however not the only one who has been maintaining his silence after getting out of Isolation. So far, Diamond Platnumz manager Sallam SK has also been on the low; but the good thing is that he made it out alive despite the complications!

DJ Shiti reveals his first stage name and why he was forced to change it!

Before DJ Shiti there was ‘Magazine’ a funny man from Nakuru who came to Nairobi in search of greener pastures; only to realize life in the city is harder than he expected!

Well this is a story about the current DJ Shiti who has been using his story to inspire the young people in the society.

Speaking during an interview with Jalang’o on Bonganajalas; Shiti for the first time revealed a few unknown things about himself including the fact that he was once known as Magazine.

When asked why he chose the name magazine at the beginning of his career; DJ Shiti opened up revealing that this name was creative to since a magazine always consists of a lot of information publish all together.

For him this was an easy name since he had also been carrying several talents in him; thus masking magazine a more reasonable name.

However, he later came to change Magazine to DJ Shiti – a name that left him making headlines on most tabloids! According to him sometimes a person is forced to take different directions just to achieve the same goal and this what he did.

Supporting his family

While many comedians continue to complain about payments; DJ Shiti has been handling his side hustles that have seen him make a few coins here and there.

However much life has been tough on him, DJ Shiti says he has never thought of quitting since his entire family looks up to him.

We all know that after arriving in Nairobi he had no place to sleep since his cousin refused to host him; however his friends at Koinange ended up showing sympathy and rented him a place to stay.

The comedian also added that his brothers children and those of his sister also depend on him financially; and just like in most African families, Shiti is responsible for his younger siblings school free!

Diamond pens heartwarming message to his baby boy, Nillan as he turns 3

3 years down the line and the baby boy seems to have taken after his papa in not just the appearance but also body structure and posture!

Unlike his sister Tiffah, the young man prefers spending more time with his older brothers who have probably been teaching him everything he needs to know.

Zari opens up about Nillan

Just a few hours ago, Zari confessed that she has not been giving Nillan much attention since he was young.

According to Zari, this is because most of the time she was giving Tiffah who was also a baby at the time most of her attention; especially since she is the only girl in the family!

This lil man right here is my MCM. Such a strong lil guy. I remember when I had him, his sister was also still a baby. As a baby Nillan showed no sign of competition since I want paying him so much attention because most of my attention was on Latiffah (well as the only gal in the family).

Singer Mr Dutch has been offering all the help he can do all less fortunate person in the community both in Kenya and his home country Nigeria.

Unlike most artists who have gone underground after hearing what other celebrities across the world are doing for their fans and less fortunate families; Mr Dutch has proven to be different in his own unique way.

As Octopizzo and his team handed food to the less fortunate in Kibra; Mr Dutch was busy handling the same job back in Nigeria. The singer teamed up with his entourage as they made rounds across Lagos handing food stuff among other things to both the old and young.

Good deeds only!

According to his Instagram page, seems that Dutch and his team managed to reach out to at least 5000 people who did not have food or shelter to spend the nights at!

However, through his foundation he managed to raise enough money to sustain those in need; and of course also had an opportunity to team up with other well wishers who remain unnamed due to security reasons!

As the world is currently at a stand still, such deeds being show by the likes of Mr Dutch, Octopizzo and the rest will honestly not go unnoticed.

Risper Faith is tired of having her man at home and if anything; she hopes Coronavirus disappears soon since she can no longer handle him at home.

From a new post shared on her Instagram page, the mum of one goes on to reveal that Brian is a bedroom bulky; and if anything hopes that he will soon be going back to work.

This is however not the first time Risper is sharing such details about her husband on social media. So far we understand that having met on Instagram, the two fell in love and are now married with a son.

After quitting Nairobi Diaries, the two love birds have been focusing on their businesses and from the look of things; these two have achieved more than what fans expected.

Their private life however remains a secret and unlike before when Risper was known to shake her money maker for a few shillings here and there; the lass is now a whole boss, wife and mother.

Zari Hassan is proud a mum of 5 adorable children and although she prefers parading her baby girl, Tiffah Dangote; the boss lady today ended up celebrating her last born Nillan.

Through her Instagram page, the boss lady shared a post dedicated to Nillan as his MCM! What caught many people attention is the fact that she admitted that she has not been paying more attention to her son; and from the look of things people had already noticed this from way back.

However, this does not mean that she loves him less of is not proud of him; but most boys tend to get independent while still young and since she already has 3 grown boys – then definitely Nillan will prefer hanging out with them and not his mommy.

Tanasha Donna aka Aisha May have forgotten the rules that come with Islam and how strict the dress code gets especially during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Well, this past weekend the lass joined her close friend Jamal Gaddafi to mark the first iftar meal together; as well as exchange some business ideas here and there!

Thanks to a post shared by Jamal, he revealed that Tanasha was actually a Muslim; confirming that indeed Tanasha changed her religion while in Kigoma, Tanzania.

Tanasha bashed for her dress code

However it appears the most of these fans were not really interested in the whole story of how she became a muslim; but were wondering whether she was taught how to carry herself as a Muslim woman.

This is after the mother of one stepped out in an outfit that left most of her skin out in the open. Sadly, this is not how a woman should dress especially with Ramadan already upon the Muslim community!

Fans from both Kenya and Tanzania went on to call her out for her short skirt and off shoulder top; when other Muslim women were covering themselves from head to toe!

Others were kind enough to correct the young lady reminding her that Islam required a selfless person dedicated to serving God while heartedly!

Diamond Platnumz confirms Tanasha is a Muslim

Speaking during his interview with Wasafi TV, Diamond Platnumz for the first time confirmed that indeed Tanasha converted to Islam while in Kigoma.

The Bongo singer went on to add that Ricardo Momo who is not just a friend but a manager at Wasafi; helped Tanasha learn and understand the teachings of Islam!

The father of 4 also revealed that before his break up, he had planned to wed Tanasha Donna who did the first time made him fall in love effortlessly!

Anyway, the two have since parted ways and from the look of things – we cannot confirm whether it’s over for good or not!

Diamond Platnumz is finally in talking terms with Zari Hassan after she blasted him for offering to pay rent for 500 people struggling in Bongo.

According to the post, Diamond Platnumz saw it was best for him to help the less fortunate especially in these hard time of Coronavirus pandemic. For him, this was just a way of giving his offering to the almighty during the Ramadan season.

The Bongo Star made the announcement through his Instagram page where he wrote;

According to Diamond Platnumz, he loved and wanted to marry Tanasha Donna who for the first time made him fall in love.

The Bongo singer opened up about this while speaking on an interview with Wasafi TV. In the interview, Diamond Platnumz opened up saying that despite being called names and being accused of cheating – he actually did not do anything to hurt Donna.

According to Diamond Platnumz, he had already made up his mind about settling down with the Kenyan singer; who unfortunately walked out on his following a few issues here and there!

Tanasha converting to Islam

Bongo singer Mwana FA is not known where he is or what happened to him. Before his disappearance from social media; the artist announced that he had been infected by the Coronavirus while jetting back to Tz from South Africa.

According to the singer, he put himself into isolation to avoid infecting his family; and though his case seem mild – a few fans here; and there couldn’t help but troll him for ‘trying to endorse’ the sickness.

However turns out that things were quite serious since he has been missing from social media for about 4 weeks now. Not his Facebook, Twitter nor Instagram have been active for all those weeks a now fans can’t help but question about his whereabouts.

So far many claims that the government of Tanzania has been hiding the real number of people affected by the virus!

Others claim that the number is higher than what is been being reported and if anything; nothing about virus in Tz is transparent.

Zari Hassan’s love towards former lover Diamond Platnumz has turned to hatred; especially since the guy seems to have exited both her life and that of his children.

For almost 2 years now the Bongo singer has made no efforts to visit his children back in South Africa where they live with their mum Zari.

In a previous interview done by Zari, the boss lady revealed that Diamond Platnumz requested to have the Children visit him in Tz; but just like any normal mum, Zari couldn’t let her children travel alone since they are minors.

Well after refusing to let the kids travel to Tanzania, Diamond Platnumz and his entire family then distanced themselves from the kids too.

According to Zari none of them has made any effort to reach out asking about the kids; and neither does their grandmother (Mama Dangote) push his son to support Nillan and Tiffah.

“I am my family’s last hope” DJ Shiti reveals

DJ Shiti has never shied away from revealing how tough it was for him before making it big in the entertainment industry!

Just like most young men with a vision of a better future, DJ Shiti left his rural home in search of green pastures in Nairobi.

However, what he did not know is that life is actually harder in the city; compared to the one he was used to while living back at his parents home.

Starting life at Koinange

In his previous interviews, DJ Shiti revealed that when he arrived in Nairobi – he had no where to go after his cousin and a few of his relatives refused to host him.

He was then left with no choice but to live on the street. Speaking about this experience DJ Shiti opened up saying;

“I made friends among the commercial sex workers at Koinange street. They loved how I spoke and nicknamed me Mr. Motivator. They, however, usually probed me to tell them where I stay, and after a few inquiries, I bowed into their demands and told them the truth,”

He went on to add saying the ladies took it upon themselves to help him despite not knowing him.

“They took me to a house along River Road, where they usually undertook their commercial businesses. I lived there for some time.”

Shiti opens up to Jalang’o

Speaking with on Jalang’os new YouTube show #Bonganajalas; Shiti for the first time revealed why he never thought of quitting despite the many challenges!

The comedian confessed saying that he is his family’s current hope since his brothers already started having kids at a young age; and like in most Kenyan families – they all depend on Shiti!

As heard in the interview, Shiti reveals that he has about 10 people (just to round up) looking up to him for financial support; and of course one can now understand why he works so hard.
