Avril finally confirms romantic relationship with J Blessing!

It is final that Avril and J Blessing are an item and if anything, the same fella is also the father of her son!

The singer confirmed this through her Instagram page where she recently went on to shower him with love as he celebrated his birthday.

Judging from her message, it is evident to see that Avril is in love with her man despite keeping him on the low for year now.

Hamisa Mobetto’s daughter Fantasy turned 5 years this past weekend; and due to the coronavirus quarantine regulations the little girl did not have her usual parties!

From the photos making rounds on social media; we understand that Hamisa Mobetto held a small party in her living room inviting a few friends and family!

Well, as usual there are those who couldn’t understand why she chose to hold the party; when Coronavirus seems to have hit Tanzania differently!

Away from this; word making rounds on social media is that Hamisa Mobetto stole the goddess photo shoot idea seen on her Instagram page.

It turns out that she not only stole the idea but also the design used in making both her outfit and that of her daughter’s!

The story which was first highlighted by one Tanzanian gossip tabloid provided proof showing complaints from the original creators of the goddess mother and daughter photo shoot.

On the post below, the complainant revealsed that Hamisa photographer bashed her after she reached out hoping to be credited.

However Misa’s team continued to insist that the photo shoot idea was not stolen but an original concept from the mother of 2!

Drama king Weezdom finally quits the gospel music industry (Details)

Bahati’s best friend Weezdom has finally called it quits when it comes to making gospel music!

The singer went public with the news through his Instagram story where he opened up saying that he will no longer be making gospel music.

According to Weezdom; he is fed up with the petty issues and beef nonsense that most gospel artists in Kenya seem to practice!

He went on to reveal that he shared the news after several of his fans requested to know why he edited his Insta bio overnight!

Comedian Mulamwah shocked many after his recent post on social media. As see on his recent post, he appeared to be burning his signature T-shirt; which he often steps out wearing during his performances.

In his caption, Mulamwah revealed that he had opted out of comedy; since the online trolls were doing more harm to his life than good. He went on to mention that the same trolls had left him fatherless after losing his child at 3 months!

However, comedian Jalang’o who also faced the same struggles while trying to maneuver in the entertainment industry; has come out to give Mulamwah some piece of advice.

According to Jalang’o, the online trolls actually get worse with time but when a person is focused and determined to achieve something; such trolls cannot stop him or put him down!

Speaking on his morning show on Milele FM, Jalang’o went on to remind Mulamwah that nothing in life comes easy; and if indeed comedy is in his calling then nothing will stop him whatsoever.

Comedian Mulamwah has always appeared to be a happy person; especially with his Luhya jokes that have enabled him to win or rather attract a huge following on social media.

So far he is known for his witty jokes and parody music videos as seen on his YouTube channel! However even with the brave face he puts on, turns out that Mulamwah has been battling with trolls for years now.

Speaking about his cyber bullying experience in an interview done just recently; Mulamwah for the first time out the jokes aside as he opened up revealing the demons haunting him.

According to the comedian, online fans sometimes tend to get harsh forgetting that he is also human! For him, entertaining people is a calling however the haters out here seem to have pushed him to the wall.

As seen on a post shared on his Instagram page; Mulamwah revealed that the same stress from bullies cost him and his girlfriend their child at 3 months! He went on to open up saying;

Vivian has done songs including Masharti, Feel Me, Chum Chum, Addicted, Chingi changa, teren, Talk to Me, Free, Woman in Love and Same Girl. Songs that have been huge successes in the industries.

YAYAYA! Not the play song we did as kids in circles but is the new song by Kidum featuring MB Data. This is a heart break song of struggles of a married faithful man of a drunkard wife.

Kidum has mostly thrived on live music performance as he is one of the best vocalists in the region.

He has a list of songs including: nakupenda, Mapenzi, Nipe Nguvu, Number moia, Kimbia. He has collabos with artists like Lady Jaydee, cedo Bensoul, Mbwira, Sanaipei, Peter Msechu, Alicious

Lately, she has been sharing less information about her upcoming projects; to probably keep fans guessing and anticipating for new music!

Word making rounds on social media is that Q boy Msafi who was Diamond Platnumz stylist is now a ‘Teja.’

The fella is said to be living on the streets and unlike his old stylish ways; he has been reduced to nothing and judging from the photos shared on so up media, things don’t look so good.

According to one Tanzanian blogger, Q boy lifestyle has completely changed and unlike before his stylish ways have been replaced with a new image that will shock many.

Well, judging from the photos making rounds on social media, Q boy is seen hanging out with other ‘Teja’s’ who allegedly depend on petty cash or theft to feed their drug addiction.

Before this, Q boy was said to be working at a barber shop in South Africa where he had allegedly gone to further his studies. Speaking about this a year ago, Q boy opened up saying;

I am now a barber and being a barber is my life. And unlike reports, this saloon is not Zari’s. I didn’t go to South Africa to beg her for work, I went to finish my studies and get my certificates

Regrets leaving WCB

After his fall out with Diamond Platnumz, Q boy later on revealed that leaving WCB was his biggest mistake.

The singer went on to publicly beg Diamond Platnumz for forgiveness however it appears that the WCB boss never wanted anything to do with the singer. When asked about getting back to Wasafi Q boy said;

“I still have the memories from that place. When you surrender to someone, it doesn’t mean you force them to do what you want. I just asked for forgiveness from the people I worked with. I am human, and I am sinful.”

Zuchu is the new female artist signed under Wasafi records!

The lass is popularly known in Tanzania since she is the daughter of Khadija Kopa; a renowned Taarab singer who also worked with Diamond Platnumz on Nasema Nawe. A hit song created to bash Wema Sepetu back in 2015!

After handing in her version of Mbosso’s Nadekezwa; it seems that Diamond Platnumz got hooked to her voice and this is why Zuchu is part of WCB.

Well a lady believed to be from East lands was allegedly locked out of her house for delaying to pay Ksh 3500. According to fans in the comment section, the lady had allegedly already spoken to a few reporters revealing that this was the first time her rent was late.

However, the landlord the did not care nor want her explanation as he kicked her out in the cold with her 7 children!

Having come across the story, mother of 5 and singer, Akothee decided it was her duty to help the single lady; since she understands what poverty is.

Kenyan producer and Magix Enga is on a musical spree as he drops another dope jam dubbed “Foursome.” In the song he features Boondocks Gang and Benzema Ochungulo all known for their amazing contribution to the growth of Gengetone music in Kenya.

Some of the songs they are featured in include Dundaing,Sidonyo, nyoka ya shaba,Dudu among many others.

The song that is very well enjoyed by youths is already 31 on trending. Fans on their part didn’t shy away from expressing their satisfaction with the work the artists have done.

With most Kenyans having a lot of time in their plate, the song has received a good number of views in the few hours its been on You Tube.

The song done largely in sheng is easy to relate to by very young Kenyans.

However those who don’t really understand sheng/slang may need a translator.I mean I am also not sure of some lyrics but the sound is totally worth it.

Foursome is a feel good song that excites the listener as Banzema spits out his lyrics without any struggle whatsoever. The only set back in thus song is that it is for a specific group thus will not be staying for long. Its just strictly a young generation song about a party that ended well for the dudes who attended it without forgetting the broken bed.

As we await the video am really looking forward to seeing the broken bed. Despite this being a rather calm kind of gengetone, someone will try and shake their booty mercilessly in the video.

With each passing day, these artists are gradually convincing us that gengetone is the future of Kenyan music with their amazing hits.

Diana Marua has been writing thanksgiving letters on her Instagram page thanking everyone who has influenced her life positively for the past few years.

So far she has thanked her husband and son, Morgan who she went all out to thank for blessing her life in a way she could not put on words.

However her latest and 3rd letter has been dedicated to her late mother who passed on a few years back. Through her Instagram page Diana wrote a beautiful message where she poured out her heart like never before. She went on to write;

11 years and counting

So far we understand that Mama Diana aka Lilly passed on 11 years ago leaving her daughter behind. However Diana is grateful for each tear and pain she faced in the absence of her mother; since it was part of God’s plan. In the letter Diana went on to say;

Alikiba has shocked many with his latest music project which he featured Diamond Platnumz baby mama, Hamisa Mobetto.

As seen on Instagram and YouTube indeed the two put out an incredible piece of work leaving many praising the King of Bongo music!

Others have also gone ahead to question Alikiba’s motive of working with Ms Mobetto; when he knew she was involved with Diamond.

Thanks to his Instagram live that went down last night, Alikiba for the first time revealed that he has been friends with Hamisa for years; but it was never felt the need to publicize.

The Bongo singer went on to add that he was the first one to actually worked with Hamisa years before people knew who she was.

President Uhuru Kenyatta recently announced that artists in the country would be receiving Ksh 100 million as royalties!

The news spread like wild fire on social media as online users couldn’t believe that the president chose to allocate the money to artists; and not the less fortunate suffering now that most are out of work due to the COVID – 19.

Seeing how negative people were reacting towards the money given to artists, actress Catherine Kamau decided to step in and defend herself and the many artists from Kenya. Through her Instagram page the lady went on to write saying;

Why is there so much bile about this ? Please make me understand. I know so many artistes who are almost sleeping hungry or houses closed because of this pandemic , yet still you turn on your radio or tv and they put a smile on your face ????! AMA labda wewe si wa locals (as the bourgeoisie say ) Mimi Niko Sawa and I thank God and will continue to Entertain , but najua wengi wanahitaji this help . Let’s be human . Government paying its debt to artists

In another post the lady went on to acknowledge that indeed there were better things to do with the money; however the Ksh 100 million was part of the debt the government owed the artists.

She went on to say;

1. I have been made to UNDERSTAND that the bile is About PRIORITIES and not ARTISTES getting paid their Dues .2. PLEASE NOTE: an ARTISTE is not only the performers you see on social media or any other media . We have MILLIONS of them in this country and most of them are not as privileged as you may think.

3. Part of this fund is actually money OWED
to Kenyan artistes as ROYALTIES.
That being said I hope the Fund gets to all deserving artistes!! I also hope the government will equip all departments involved in fighting this pandemic with adequate funds . In short @ukenyatta we all deserve to feel include .

I will continue to play my part in my community which has been To educate on the fight against covid 19 and to also give to my brothers and sisters . My Apologies if the post came out as insensitive.

As other artists look forward to finally accessing the Ksh 100 million President Uhuru gave out to pay artists, comedians and actors in the country; comedian Terence has gone ahead to pull a never seen before move that has left many shocked!

Yes, Terence is grateful for the money and just like most entertainers; he must have been looking forward to using the cash in one way or the other.

But as seen on his latest Instagram post the father one went on to ask Mr President to redirect his share of the money.

According to Terrence he wants his share to help fight this pandemic; not forgetting to helping the less fortunate who can’t afford any food during this trying time.

Tanzania’s Roma and AB Nabil drop another love sensation “Down low”and its totally worth your time

“Down low”is the latest jam to be released from Tanzania by celebrated artists AB Nabil featuring Roma.

Roma and AB Nabil have dropped this new jam in the middle of a Pandemic creating a form of entertainment for their fans. I mean who wouldn’t want something to dance to in this times?

The two are a good blend vocally have served their fans quite a tune. The song brings a familiar tune “Katika” by Navy Kenzo in the chorus to mind plus Roma sounds a lot like Professor Jay who is now a member of parliament in Tanzania.

Roma is a rapper that has clearly stood the the wind of time as he keeps doing good music by the day.

The three minutes song is in Swahili and English and a little of Rwandese.

The song is basically a feel-good song.

The video is simple without much dance, from the title of the song one expects that there will be some serious dancing all the way ‘down low’ but surprisingly there is none of that. The vixens could have done better on this. Anyway, the video is rather calm for the title.

AB-Nabil has been in the industry for slightly more than two years and has done several songs including: Mfata, Runyenyeri, Najua unanipenda, Ndagushaka, Monica, Kananipenda, Tulia, Come Close, Sofia, Usichoke among many others.

Roma on the other hand has had a few songs with his greatest hit being “Naitwa Roma.”The artist who has occasionally been accused of running away from Tanzania his home country.

The two artists still have a lot room to build their brand each and do collabos with the many East African artists. With both having a good number of fans who are very supportive within East Africa the two are set and on the right track.
