How to make your own KFC style Chicken at home

With this fried chicken recipe , forget about the days of  going to KFC for those little pieces of chicken that cost alot of money. Try this and thank me later.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 3 teaspoons pepper, divided
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 broiler/fryer chickens (3-1/2 to 4 pounds each), cut up
  • Oil for deep frying

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine 2-2/3 cups flour, garlic salt, paprika, 2-1/2 teaspoons pepper and poultry seasoning. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs and water; add salt and the remaining flour and pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then place in the bag, a few pieces at a time. Seal bag and shake to coat.

In a deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry chicken, several pieces at a time, for 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels.

Rwandan Dance troupe surprises Arsenal team with Performance on their home feild

A twitter account belonging to Arsenal football club this morning posted a video from their training of a Rwandan dance troupe performing during their training session.

“It was just a normal day at training… …and then this happened. Thanks for coming to see us, @visitrwanda_now,” Arsenal said in a tweet. They also shared a video that captured the moment.

Earlier this year, Rwanda signed an endorsement deal with the football club to promote tourism to their country.

As part of the deal, the dance troupe was sent to entertain the players as they did their normal training day.

@visitrwanda_now also said in a tweet that; “On Tuesday we surprised @Arsenal training with a band of traditional drummers and dancers to celebrate the launch of the partnership and give the players a taste of Rwanda. Intore literally means the Chosen best of the best. The dance symbolises pride and the chant is the call for victory.”

Hamisa Mobetto and Diamond platnumz get flirty at Award ceremony

Diamond Platnumz and baby mama Hamisa Mobetto could have amended their differences especially this time, with Zari conspicuously out of the picture! While attending the Sinema Zetu International awards, a movie awards ceremony, the two were the centre of attraction.

The two former bed mates were sitting separately before they were called forth to present an award.

Diamond took to the stage and welcomed Hamisa with a warm hug. He went ahead and complimented her beauty and thanked her for being a great mother to his son.

They say lions cannot be caged and Diamond is continuously living up to his legacy of “Simba”.

In another incident while at the awards ceremony, when Hamisa was asked who was the best dressed at the event, she stated that it was none other than Diamond Platnumz. but we must admit Hamisa does look pretty fly for a mother of two

Pop star Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has opened up on the women his life, admitting that monogamy is not for him.

He said girlfriends are aware that he is not a one woman man.

Wizkid made the revelation on Saturday, march 17, 2018, during an interview with On Air Personality, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi on Beat FM, Lagos.

Wizkid, 27, has fathered three children with three different women – Sola Ogudugu,  Binta Diallo, and Jada Pollock.

In the latest interview, the Starboy record label owner made it clear that it would be difficult for him to stick to only one woman, as he proudly embraced polygamy.

While he is reportedly still friends with his first baby mama Sola, Wizkid is said to still be romantically involved with Binta and Jada, who his the mother of his latest child, Zion.

Wizkid’s relationship with Jada was practically unknown until it was announced that she had given birth to a baby boy in late November 2017.

As some suspected the rift between Zari and Hamisa has reached a whole new level. Reports has it that Hamisa’s mother is the new target of online threats from the boss lady’s diehards.

According to Risasi Newspaper the comments against Mobetto’s mum,posted by Zari’s “obsessed” fans is now affecting her health.

Apparently when she reads the comments, her blood pressure shoots up.

Hamisa also confessed that her mum’s condition has reached dangerous level. She asked Zari to rein in her followers before the rivalry turns fatal.

But why is she showing her mother the comments in the first place? we will keep you posted.

Meddie Sentongo Seeks Marriage Partner

Abanoonya of the year Meddie Sentongo is searching for a “marriage material” woman to settle down.

He said in an interview, “I have had fun to the fullest and it’s time to settle down. I need to start a family.”

Meddie has dated several girls and they include; Anita Fabiola, Bad Black, Corazon Kwamboka and Tanzanian socialite, Agnes Masogange.

Meddie came to the limelight when dated Bad Black. The two splashed cash in bars and rolled in big wheels.

However,All this was brought to a halt when they were accused of fleecing 11b from tycoon David Greenhalgh. They were found guilty and sent to jail, 11 months for Meddie and 4 years for Black.

Meddie says him and bad black are still friends due to their experiences. On the other hand she says he is passed tense and has found a new love in Brad Pitt.

Socialite Zari Hassan, has resorted into becoming a Senga because of her Hubby’s endless unfaithfulness.

On Monday, Zari learned that her baby daddy, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz,  has yet again sired another child from another woman known as Sebastian Tunda.

Frustrated Zari has resorted to advising young men about sex and how to keep a man.  She has surely seen days!

“When you look at various women, there is always something that you can admire until you wish to sleep with her, something different from your wife’s. May be it is boobs especially if she is yet to breast feed, may be it is hips, may be it is her lips , may be it is her complexion, may be it is her voice etc.

Guns Blazing once Again, Zari VS Daimond Platnumz VS Hamisa

If you havent heard, season two of the Zari, Diamond, Hamisa reality is “out”.

On Friday Zari once again turned on her 28 year old baby Daddy Diamond platnumz for failing to keep his pants up. Mommy to Latifah and Nillian Dangote  once again took to Snapchat to express her dissatisfaction with her hubby’s philandering ways.

The Back story

This comes after Diamond was spotted hanging with Hamisa Mobetto with whom he has a son. This happened in Dubai where had gone for a music tour after a baecation in london with Zari.

Zari suggests that he should add condom companies to his list of endorsements because its what suits his best.

Uganda Artistes Winnie Nwagi, Sheebah to curtain raise wizkid show

Ugandan Artistes including Winnie Nwagi, Sheebah and Fik fameica among others are set to curtain raise the wizkid show happening Dec 7.

Other ugandan Artisites include;

Exodus, Maurice Kirya, Sheebah , Vampino, B2C,BigEye, Da Agent,Dj-Fikie, Fameica, Binnie Gunter, and Nina Roz

The concert details

Wiz Kid will be in Kampala come 7th December 2017 at Lugogo Cricket oval.

The singer will be in Kampala for a musical fest dubbed “Thursday Night Live with Wizkid” organized by Face TV Uganda.

This comes after the African Superstar missed his show earlier this year which caused backlash from his Ugandan fans.

The tickets are being sold at all Shell Select stations country wide, Funz Video outlets, Quicket.co.ug (for online purchases), Face Studio Bugolobi and all Star Times outlets.

They will also be available at the entrance point at the show at UGX 300,000 for VVIP, UGX100, 000 for VIP and UGX 30,000 for ordinary.

Old ticket holders who wish to redeem their tickets from the previous purchases should come to the FACE Studio offices between 6th and 30th November.

All does not seem to be going well for musician Leila Kayondo. The latest we are getting is that she is running bankrupt.

Leila was dumped by her Bae and financier SK Mbuga ealier this year. He then soon after married Wife Jalia in an extravagant ceremony.  Mbuga had been her main source of income where  his money bought her a music career and trips abroad.

“I was a drug lord” Dave Dash speaks out on his addiction

Dave dash who moths ago was caught on camera running Naked on the streets has finally spoken out on the fateful day. Here is his interview on by Sqoop.co.ug

What really happened that day?
Three days earlier, I was going through an emotional situation. I felt as though the entire world had abandoned me; my wife had left with my son, our family land was sold off by people I trusted so much and thinking about my son being caught up in the middle of it broke me down. It was my fault. I broke down and thought that if I ran about naked, nobody would mind.

So were you high that day?
No. I was off weed for a day and the weed I was using is one of the strongest and I had used it for four months. I would smoke it every morning, afternoon and evening. That day, all I wanted was at least the scent of mango because the weed smells like mango, but I did not have access.

You could have undressed from your house. Did you have to run to the street?
I used to jog from Bunga pump to Kampala University twice a day, as I smoked but this time I did not have the weed so I undressed, took the same run, showered in the lake and was home by 9.45am. When I got home, I started receiving calls, and texts from people expressing concern.

Was that gesture meant to test how much people cared for you?
No. This was my break down. It was all about me, my wrongs haunting me. I had destroyed families including mine. I was the pope of darkness who knew everyone’s dark point and to wash away all those things, rehab was the only place for me to go. It was a personal decision.

Does this mean you took yourself to rehab?
Yes I did. No one told me or forced me to go there.

What is the main reason that took you to rehab?
I have a family to look after and I wanted to tell people about the dangers of drugs. We actually have an app that can help teach people about the beauty of being sober. I also went to rehab to be cleansed.

Which rehab did you go to?
I was in Butabika. It was an amazing experience. It made me reconnect with myself.

What really happens in Butabika or in rehab?
In there, no one judges you because everyone is mad. Mad in different aspects; some are stressed, others just gave up while others are there because of excessive drinking. It is a clean place for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves and truth be told, everyone at some point may want to check into Butabika.

The hacker is currently only identified as Kundaika.

The hacker has unfollowed everyone and made account private and inaccessible to her and her fans.

She is still working hard to recover her accounts although all efforts have currently proved futile.

This maybe becoming a trend as many others have fallen prey to hackers in the recent past.

Sheebah Karungi Gives back during her birthday celebrations

The Karma Queen Sheebah Karungi turned a year older on 11 September.

 

The hard worker that she is, Sheebah did not seat back to eat cake or “happen” but was away in Mbale for a concert.

After her concert she decided to give back to the sick especially single mothers at Mbale hospital.

She handed them Soap, Detergent, Cooking oil, Mattresses among others.

We guess this is why God has been so good to her.

East African reality show “God Father” coming soon

A “BigBrother version” reality show for East Africa known as God Father East Africa is coming soon!

Twelve contestants will be vetted to participate in the show. Audition is free of charge but one must be 21 years or older.

You must be a member of the East African community/ a citizen who lives in one of the selected countries namely; Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda & Tanzania. You must be in excellent physical and mental health.

Mr. Allan Komba the representative of the show says, “If you are selected by the Producers for an audition, you must be willing to travel at your own expense…”

The show will last for a period of 3 months and the winner will take home  Kshs. 2,500,000 equivalent to UGX. 85M and Tzshs. 50million.

The general public will be able to participate by voting who to stay or leave the house the house very week.

Celebrity pastor, Prophet Elvis Mbonye has scooped himself  a nomination in the Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards (PAFA) under the category of Best Male fashionista against singer Eddie Kenzo, Capt Mike Mukula, Exodus, Prince David Wasajja and Pastor Wilson Bugembe.

The prophet has rightfully earned the nomination since he is constantly seen wearing designer suits from Italy and Milan at his pompous church ceremonies.

Singer Bebecool has spoken out on the death of his friend and colleague DizzyNuts.

Dizzy Nuts was knocked down by a speeding vehicle that claimed his life instantly. Bebe cool claims that the attack was meant for him as the vehicle with tinted windows and no lights was parked at a bank close to where his was parked.

Another friend of Bebe cool Kato Hassan was injured in the leg and forehead but is a stable condition.

Wizkid Concert confirmed

The Wizkid concert that was cancelled earlier is back on and is slated for 7th December at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

This was confirmed in a press conference by face TV and startimes TV who are the main sponsors of the show.

Wizkid will perform alongside Ugandan artistes Like Radio & Weasel, Winnie Nwagi, Cindy, Irene Ntale, Fik Fameica, B2C, Geosteady, Vampino, King Saha, Fille and StarBoss Big Eye among others.

Tickets go on sale from November 20, 2017 with the early bird tickets going for 25K(Ordinary) and 75K (VIP) until December 6, 2017.

You can also redeem your old  tickets from the previous purchases by presenting them tickets at FACE Studio offices between November 6 and 30, 2017.

Barbie Kyagulanyi, wife to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi has confessed to doing most of her shopping in Owino Market.

Unlike what many may perceive as a life of luxury where she doesn’t go even close to down town, barbie says even back then, her and fellow slay queens of those days braved the morning rain and mud to scuffle for mivumba.

Barbie took to Facebook to make the confession adding that it put her in trouble with her “high class” friends for letting out the secret.

She says that even to this day,she still occasionally goes to Owino to get some cute clothing.

Alex Muhamgi as we have reported before started his own comedy night at,400 bar after having wrangles with Diners lounge.

The seasoned comedian has recently been in the news for his bitter beef with friend and fellow comedian Salvador Idringi.

But was the move to rival bar 400 the best move? The comedy theme nights have continued to happen on Thursday nights but the crowd is getting less everytime.

We could see alot of empty chairs at the event where some revellers were heard complaining that he now brings boring comedians that are also in experienced.

 

The crowd at diners has also greatly reduced so as it seems people don’t like these fights and wrangles.

Princess Komuntale Speaks out on Husband’s Drug addiction

Princess Komuntale has finally spoken out on Estranged husband’s mental health situation.

Pictures of Christopher Thomas have been circulating on social media showing the former prince’s deteriorating mental state.

It is alleged that Thomas is on drugs that are causing him to act like a crazy person.

Komuntale made the comments on her Facebook page saying;

“I have always read about Thomas and his bad acts. His drug addiction and his current situation going by pictures make me so sad. Well, he is still my lawfully wedded husband. However, we both moved on and have a different life. I wish his family can now act and stop the embarrassment”

Radio & Weasel 10 year anniversary Concert coming up

Radio & Weasel are super excited for their 10 years anniversary as they told a press conference yesterday at Kyadondo rugby grounds .

The duo say they have managed to survive despite many music groups breaking up. For this reason they are prepared to bring “fire”.

“We want to give you fire on that day because that is what we know best. Thanks for the support and always allowing us to entertain you.”

The radio and Weasel concert will take place on Friday, November 3 at Kyadondo Rugby grounds. Tickets will cost 20K (Ordinary) and 50K (VIP).

 

Movit talent search winners awarded (second Edition)

Movit talent search winners of the second edition were rewarded yesterday at an event at their headquarters in Zana.

The overall Kampala winner, Betty Nakyewa was handed her 3 million Uganda shillings cash prize and movit hampers. She was the best of 25 top contestants and was excited to recieve the money which could help launch her music career.

Emmy Musasirane the  Director Operations and Administration at Movit Products Limited, advised the emerging talents to be very creative and innovative if they are to go far with their talents as business tools.

Other winners were Murungi Jeremiah first runner up and Achieng ZamZam second runner up.

What Went Down At The Black creations fashion show

The black Creations fashion show was organized in conjunction with the president’s effort to equip the girl child with skills.

Guests were treated to 100% Ugandan fashion in beatiful shades of black yellow and red.

They were also serenaded by Kenneth Mugabi, Lilian mbabazi  and the show was hosted by  Malaika Nnyanzi and Roger Mugisha.

 

Jealous Hamisa Lashes out on Zari’s Celebrity welcome

Hamisa is currently in “hideout” in Kenya following the Zari and Diamond reunion.

Hamisa went on a media blowout After Zari was given a huge celebrity welcome into Tanzania which she has not got even  being a Tanzanian National herself.

She claims people are posting cool pictures of Zari calling her a queen but apparently to her, that is old news. She says she and her “fans” need new stories.

She took Diamond to court over child Neglect and sessions start next month.

Hon.Abiriga Family cheats death in Arua.

They say a stupid son disgraces his village and this is what Hon.Abiriga has achieved.

The member of parliament’s country home was attacked by unknown assailants who nearly burnt it down.

The occupants at the time include the Honorable’s wife Aminah, who says she woke up and run before the house was burnt down.

She says they discovered a 5 liter petrol jerrycan abandoned at the doorway but fortunately the survived unscathed.

The motive for this is currently unknown but we guess the shame of the MP has finally trickled down to his home town.

The case has been reported to police pending investigation.

 

Zari is living the Kardashian Dream in Tanzania

If there is anyone living the dream, it is Zari right now in Tanzania.

She touched down in Tanzania for the first time since the Cheating Saga and she was welcomed in full kardashian fashion.

She looked all dolled up and there was a sea of Cameras flashing away. Had you not known, you would think Kim K herself was in the area.

She later had a press day at the GSM mall for which she is a brand ambassador and she and the Platnumz looked like an unbothered solid couple.

News! News! Zari has come out to confess she would  never dump Diamond over such “small issues”.

Zari made these comments on a popular Tanzanian radio stations saying

“… I did wish him (a happy birthday) though not publicly via the Whatsup.We’re trying to take our personal life away from social media. And the more we trying to take it away from social media the more its reaction on social media but there is nothing like that everything is fine,”

This comes after he fathered a son with video vixen Hamisa Mobeto and she declined to be part of his birthday celebrations.

Comedy Nights have left Diners- Alex Muhangi

The much raved about comedy nights at diners lounge have now moved from Diners to a new location that is to be announced.

As we had informed you, Alex Muhangi the show’s organizer had disagreements with the diners management because he was selling comedy material to NTV without giving them a share.

Alex in a press conference however said that the theme night had become to big for the venue whic is why they chose to shift.

Whatever the reason we cant wait to have more of this Ugandan Talent.

These Self styled money bags usually flood the Kampala entertainment scene with money we are not aware of its origin. As is, they disappear like they came.

Today, we are counting them down and reliving these memories.

    This One is the Pioneer of this tycoon business in Uganda. Mike most profound moment was when he paraded a heap if dollars way before even 10% of Uganda’s population had seen a dollar. It is said however that these we fake but he never stayed around long enough to explain. He has since disappeared in thin air.

    Who can forget the endless Arab parties with this one. Sue made a name for herself in kampala’s most affluent societies for the money she threw around. Who can tell where she is now.

    Do you remember when he used to carry around money in a black polythene bag in the Back of his car? We are talking about the Meddie who ate Muzungu’s money with Bad Black but has since disappeared from the scene to date.

    Once a mere model got fortunate and married rich South African doctor Alex heard to make her one of the new tycoons of her time. She once paraded a Bentley a birthday gift from her rich Hubby. We hear he has since moved on to another Kenyan model leaving Judith Heard to attend blanket and Wines.
