“We are still alive!” Willy Paul speaks after Nandy’s tour bus overturned leaving a few injured

Willy Paul and Nandy have confirmed that their show in Sumbawanga is still on despite one of their tour bus carrying Nandy’s band overturned at Mikumi area in Tanzania.

The controversial artist revealed that there were no deaths apart from a few people who got injured and rushed to the hospital for quick medical attention.

Even with this, Willy Paul went on to confirm that the show is still on brushing off any rumors claiming that the event has been cancelled.

The two have lately been giving many a reason to talk thanks to their recent performance at the Choma Na Ngoma festival that went down this weekend.

So far Nandy and Willy Paul have worked on two projects that have left them inseparable. Judging from the love they are receiving from their fans; it’s evident that this two might turn out to be unstoppable.

Controversial singer Willy Paul seems to have quit releasing gospel music and is now focused on doing what he thinks is best for his career.

This past weekend during the Choma na Ngoma festival Willy Paul left many shocked after his performance with Nandy; and truth be told the singer didn’t seem to care much.

H_art the band suffers poor treatment at Choma na Ngoma event

Popular boy band H_art the band this past weekend found themselves at an awkward position thanks to the Choma na Ngoma event organizers.

Word making rounds on social media is that the well known boy band was forced to perform last during the much hyped second edition Choma na Ngoma festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

Apparently songstress Alicios started off the performance then was followed by Nandy and Willy Paul who swept many off their feet. Sauti Sol then came later to take H_art the Bands place since one of them had an early morning flight.

However one would expect that H_art the Band to perform next – but seems that the event organizers had someone else in mind.

Well, Nigeria’s Patoranking got to perform next which put H_art the band last. This is however not the first time the boy band is facing poor treatment at an event.

In 2017 during the BBQ Live headlined by Wizkid; H_art the band was mistreated by the organizers of the event after being hurriedly informed to step on the stage despite having had part of their team frozen at the enterance.

They grow up so fast! Shaffie Weru flies all the way to the United States for his daughters graduation!

Kiss FM’s radio presenter Shaffie Weru is one of those dads who is constantly active in his children’s lives. So far we understand that he has two lovely girl’s who he loves to parade on his Instagram page.

However, his eldest daughter, Milan is from his previous marriage  with singer Debbie Asila from Tatu. After his relationship with singer ended Debbie then relocated to the US where she has been living with their daughter.

This has however never stopped Shaffie Weru from being a full time dad to his baby girl who is currently in her teens. Judging from the photos Shaffie shares on his Instagram page, the two appear to be quite close and if anything enjoy each other’s company.

(Nairobi, Kenya) – Grammy-winning Reggae group Morgan Heritage have launched the “Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival” at Laurette Gardens at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya on June 8, featuring some of the biggest names in Jamaican music and the hottest artist from across Africa. 

The global initiative festival will raise funds and awareness for youth leadership development programs in Africa and Jamaica, with benefactors including Save The Children, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNODC, OXFAM International, Shofco, Joy Divine and others. The full festival line-up will be announced through Morgan Heritage and Official Festival social media and websites.

The “Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival” will be broadcasted live by festival media partner Trace Global Network, covering more than 160 countries in more than 200 million homes. It will also stream live on YouTube.

“We Morgan Heritage are doing this festival because we’ve identified the need for a conscious effort to be pushed forward to educate, empower and create opportunities that puts the youth on a path toward success for generations to come. So we’re asking the world to help us help the children across Africa and Jamaica where this movement to save a generation has started.” 

The group went on to say;

“Buju Banton and Sauti Sol has not been announced and despite a few people trying to spread news about the final line-up, we assure you that we will not promote any artist that will not appear at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday June 8th”

Mzazi Willy M Tuva finally steps in to support Ten Ballz after 8 years of trying to get help

One Kiboma K Chibupa popularly known by his stage name Ten Ballz worldwide is among the top rising stars in the Kenyan music industry thanks to his song Mchezo which has been receiving much airplay in Kenya and Bongo.

However not many know much about the young singer giving many artists a run for their money. Well speaking to the singer, Ten Ballz worldwide got to open up about his childhood and the struggles he faced before to where he is right now.

After finishing his Form four in Tanzania the young man says he did not get the opportunity of furthering his education due to lack of school fees. He was then forced to sell the small piece of land his father left him in-order to see whether he would get an opportunity to join Medicine school in Kenya; and the same time see if he would record a few songs with the little money he would remain with.

He however landed in the wrong hands and the person who was meant to help his music career ended up conning him. Three years down the line he was forced to join a college where he took languages and managed to learn French, Chinese and Italian.

A few years later he the recorded his first successful single dubbed ‘mtoto wa Pwani’ and luckily had J Blessing who shot the visuals to this song.

Seeing that his career had potential to grow, Ten Ballz world says he went on to form a band which did not last for long. At this particular time the singer says he had already recorded two albums with a rapper from Denmark but unfortunately his producer’s hard disk got spoilt.

With the problems attacking him from left, right and center the singer then took a whole year-break; and now he is back with yet a new project that will see him on top music charts in the country.

The audio ‘Shakara’ was recorded in Bongo and the vsuals done in Kenya. Hopefully this will be his final breakthrough now that Kenyan music is getting back to where it used to be!

Harmonize slams Diamond Platnumz after revealing his Italian fiancé had an affair with body guard ‘Mwarabu’

Singer Harmonize called out his Wasafi records boss Diamond Platnumz for sharing private information about his fiancé, Sarah Michelloti – on his new song inama featuring Fally Ipupa.

In the song Diamond Platnumz confirms that indeed Wasafi records body guard Mwarabu was fired following an affair he had with Harmonize’s fiancé.

This comes a few months after Mange Kimambi went on to share this information on Instagram; however Harmonize and Sarah denied the claims – only for Diamond Platnumz to confirm that the affair rumors were true in his new hit song.

For the past few days many have been talking about Zari and Diamond Platnumz following a few confessions by the Bongo star.

Well, apparently after leaving fans speculating as to why Diamond Platnumz was being unfaithful to Zari; the singer finally opened up saying that his baby mama had been cheating on him with Peter from P-Square and at the same time her personal trainer.

Apparently he came across a text on Zari’s phone that confirmed his fear. Later on, he realized that Zari was also getting intimate with her personal trainer in their bed back in Tanzania whenever he was not around.

Christine Muthoni aka DJ Sonia who is currently doing marvelous in the entertainment industry thanks to her Djing skills is yet another woman we should celebrate.

Unlike many, Christine Muthoni had a humble background as she grew up in Mathare slums. This enabled her to focus on bigger things in life and after everything she now among the top female DJ’s in the country.

Career journey 

The lovely lady started Djing 4yrs ago; this is after sharing her passion for music and deejaying with her friend, dj ruffcutt back in 2013. He then trained her with the help of Dj Dan mixa for about 5 months;  but things did not work out as planned since at that time she was a sales person at a certain company and couldn’t put all her focus on djing.

However, in 2015 Christine enrolled at a dj school where she underwent a 3 months training which kick started her career. So far she has shared stages with diffrent artists and djs in the 4yrs she has been in the game; and Christine can now happily say she is a full time dj. 

So far she has worked with Nonini’s Pro Habo Ent which helped her during the beginning of her career and has also worked as a resident dj at a high end club for about 1 year now.

Anyway when she is free the lovely DJ is a full time mum to her baby girl, Breana.

 

Meet the young fit men representing Kenya in Thiland For the Thai Boxing

Kenya has been known as the home of sports men and women for some years now. Thanks to the likes of Zarika and many others who are passionate about sports; we can all agree that Kenya is giving many a run for their money in the work of sports.

Well, another team of three young men; Brian Serete 18 yrs, Martin Achebi 18yrs and Javan Buyu 22yrs Kenya has once again been put on the map. The three are specialists at Thai; a sport that has been in existence for sometime in kenya now.

About Muay Thai

Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques.

This sport has been made possible thanks to Maurice who has paved a way for youths from Kibera and Kayole to participate in this sport at Ultra Fitness gym located at Adams.

Training at Phuket Thailand

After years of training and perfection with Ultra Fitness Gym; The Boys, Brian Serete, Martin Achebi and Javan Buyu are now set to be the first kenyans representing Kenya in Muay thai Boxing in the 2020 Olympics thanks to Sport Pesa who are sponsoring them to train in phuket and participate in an upcoming Tournament.

Maurice, hopes and prays that the boys will keep being fit as the world looks forward to embrace Thai fighting in the 2020 Olympics where they will be representing Kenya in Muay thai Boxing for the very first time.

With such amazing talent, hopefully Kenyans will stand in and keep supporting these boys.

Akothee steps out looking hotter than ever to celebrate 36th birthday

Akothee undeniably left many talking last night after sharing amazing photos taken during her 36th birthday celebration.

Well, if you thought Akothee being a dark skin is not beautiful then I’m pretty sure her new photos will leave you shocked.

Dressed in a golden sequined dress, Akothee for the very first time rocked a human hair wig that left her looking like a very young expensive slay queen.
