Chinese have destroyed business in Gikomba and Nairobi CBD with cheap goods

Kenyans are up in arms yet again accusing the Chinese of ruining their source of income. Several Kenyans took to Twitter to share their bitter view of how the Chinese ruined their business in Gikombo since they joined their business and started unfair trade.

With Corona Virus effects bitting the economy hard especially in Gikomba Market, a few Kenyans were quick to accuse them of ruining the market yet again. Corana Virus originated in Wuhan, China.

According to some, Chinese nations made business in the market unbearable because of unfair competition.

“Mimi ata I gave up on mitumba. Kitambo in 2018 I used to sell a bale at 13500 for tops na the chinese guy used to sell at 8k. How do I even compete. Niligive up!” said one person on Twitter.

Kenyan traders were infuriated by the move and complained in a move that attracted the attention of Interior CS Fred Matiang’i who ordered for termination of foreigners’ work permits and deportation of all small scale traders competing with Kenyans in the streets.

In January 2020, 7 out of 22 boutiques opposite Jamia Mosque in Nairobi belong to Chinese. To make the matter worse, they are selling their good at half price of those sold by Kenyan traders.

Tanzanian video vixen, Hamisa Mobetto, has reacted to claims that her baby daddy, Diamond Platinumz has ceased paying child support for their son, Dylan.

Rumors have been prevalent in Tanzania´s showbiz scene, claiming the bongo flava artist, Diamond Platinumz, withdrew child support for Dylan.

This is following the deterioration of the Bongo star´s relationship with the model.

Word is that the one-time lovebirds have apparently stopped seeing eye-to-eye.

The duo broke up in August 2018 when the WCB owner claimed Hamisa had been using witchcraft to entice him into marriage.

However, according to media reports, Diamond still provided child support to Dylan until recently when he withdrew.

Unfortunately, the mother of two seems devastated putting to mind the fact that Hamisa doesn´t get along with the singer´s family, especially, Diamond´s mother, Sandra.

She was thereafter approached by Global Publishers to comment on the same, rather criticized the publication clearly stating that it was none of their business.

Dylan was a product of Diamond´s ´mpango wa kando´ with the model, whilst still married to Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.

The Eneka hitmaker has two children from his past relationship with South African-based business woman, Zari Hassan.

Back in February 2017, Hamisa who has a daughter from a previous relationship, saw herself lose a child support case against Diamond.

Ksh 230,000 was the sum the model demanded as monthly upkeep, having sued the singer for child negligence.

Technicalities however saw the case thrown out of court.

Sometimes people publicise things that can not really happen.

The Kwangwaru star revealed it all during an interview with Global TV, urging people and the media to stop believing all they see on Instagram and in Blogs.

Anerlisa Muigai is not only beautiful but ‘goals’ for many young women. She is smart and knows how to keep her money flowing.

Just recently Anerlisa Muigai happened to open up about her love for kids. According to the lass, she loves her friends kids but truthfully she has never seen herself as a mother.

Maybe this is because she is an only child and has never been exposed to toddlers. However, Anerlisa says that her fiancé is hoping that in future they will have a baby girl…so will she fulfill his dreams? Let’s hope so.

Yvette Obura who is Bahati’s first baby mama is among the very few women who don’t practice baby mama drama!

Well, many people on social media consider her wise and above all – a woman many should learn a thing or two from.

Deapite having a child with the popular gospel singer, Yvette managed to keep the information on the low; until the singer decided to share the news through his social media pages.

However, just like most couples Yvette and Bahati decided to raise their baby girl Mueni separately after their relationship did not work out.

According to Yvette, co parenting only works when boundaries are respected. The lady says that she has managed to work with her baby’s father because they are also seeing other people on the side.

During a question and answer session on her gram, Yvette revealed that she is cool about meeting Diana Marua when time is right.

Ringtone´s beef is simply because he feels that controversial artist, Willy Poze has not been behaving like a gospel artist lately.

Bongo artist, Diamond Platinumz’ ailing dad, Abdul Juma has spoken publicly for the first time after reports emerged that he was using his false daughter, to seek sympathy.

The ailing old man´s condition has been worsening as his legs risk amputation due to a rare cancer condition that has affected his skin.

Pleas from the superstar´s father to have the Kwangaru singer chip in to his deteriorating status seem to have fallen on deaf ears as the Tanzanian artist seems not to be moved.

Queen Darleen, Diamond´s sister, went on record alleging that the dad had actually lied about receiving help from another of his daughters, the London-based, Zubeda.

During an interview with Wasafi Media, Queen Darleen actually claimed that Diamond´s father told her he was lying so as to get the help he needs.

She is speaking lies.

If she (Darleen) has decided against helping me to join up with his brother (Diamond) then she should just leave me in peace.

Most of her help actually comes from her brother.

However, Mr Abdul seems to have taken it a notch higher, by declaring war on his blood children as he on the contrary, denied Queen Darleen´s claims that he was seeking attention.

He actually thoroughly maintained that Queen Darleen was busy rumor-mongering.

Diamond´s sister is allegedly simply having ill-motive in saying that the ailing old man, was trying to defraud people of his illness.

That child is silly, her mind must not be working very well.

I don´t usually talk to her because anytime we have a conversation it is always drama.

They have a vendetta with me and Queen and has never made effort to help me at any given time.

A visibly troubled Mr Abdul went on to name the daughter ludicrous, accusing her of trying to bring him down, the children having declared war on him despite his state.

The Bongo artist was spotted getting too cosy with former Citizen TV show host, Joey Muthengi.

In an Instagram video, Otile is seen holding the caramel skinned beauty tightly right next to his chest as the two savored the moment.

Kenyan rapper Colonel Mustafa seems to have gotten back to terms with ex, Noti Flow.

The two were recently spotted spending some quality time together, sparing no one.

¨Linked up with the Queen in the hood,¨ Mustafa captioned.

As captured on their Instagram accounts, the two looked like a piece, sparing nothing for the cameras.

¨Day was lit,¨ Noti Flow captioned from her end.

She claimed that they were at a recording studio working on something.

Noti Flow is a female rapper.

Also, was part of the reality TV show, Nairobi Diaries, before walking away.

Still comes as a shocker to many, having witnessed their undiplomatic breakup barely months ago.

The two rappers and reality TV show casts have been on and off the dating circle since their stint in the popular show.

Comedian cum radio presenter Rapcha the Sayantist aka Francis Kibe has made a bold move on his Instagram page after confessing about his alcohol addiction.

For the very first time, the comedian who has entertained many through his radio show on Hot 96, several local TV skits; and  the Churchill show opened up about the life he has been living for the past ten years.

According to his post the comedian says he has not made the best decisions in his life especially when it come to drinking. Rapcha says that he used to drink every single day for the past 7 years but now wants to change this.

Zero chills! Mr Seed roasts Bahati with a video from 10 years ago that will leave you shocked!

There is definitely bad blood between Bahati and Mr Seed! Despite having grown up in the same neighborhood and faced the same challenges the two stars now seem to have forgotten about that.

It all started after Bahati and his wife allegedly called cops on Mr Seeds pregnant fiancé  in December. Just like any loving husband to be, Seed did what he thought was best for his young family and walked away from EMB.

This however led to other issues with the EMB CEO Bahati who recently came out to shade all his former employees.

According to Bahati, Mr Seed and David Wonder never really brought any profit to his recording studio. In fact Bahati says he ended up spending more money on the artists and this is how he suffered his loses.

Who´s the OG? Papa Jones vs Ms Cashy

On 10 over 10, Ms Cashy made it clear that she had moved on from Khaligraph Jones.

¨Mi ndiyo O.G hapa.¨ she told Willis Raburu, in response to his question about her past relationship with Khaligraph.

Speaking on International Women´s day, Ms Cashy articulated ¨Power to us women. Tutasimama no matter what happens behind the scenes.¨

Ms Cashy seemed pained about the fact that she got threatened, a move that made her feel like people thought they could walk all over her because she was laid back.

The female rapper however reported the case to the police.

She echoed that most women did not have platforms to express themselves and even when they did, they were scared about what the public would end up saying about them.

The established female rapper revealed that she had started an initiative by the name ¨Naitwa” that is there to encourage individuals to express their stories no matter how challenging and rough the road might have been for them.

Ms Cashy further addresses the women, telling them they could easily overcome their circumstances with support from individuals whom have had similar experiences.

In addition, Ms Cashy tells Willis Raburu that her fire has just began blazing for she is yet to unleash more music and better collabos.

The female rapper had gone under for couple of years, before she recently made a publicity tour earlier this year.

However, even when she returned, she did not make such good remarks about her past relationship with ex, Khaligraph Jones, during her interview with Kiss 100.

¨I left because it got messy to protect myself because you can´t let yourself be in a place you´re constantly unhappy despite who he or she is.¨

Raila Junior recalls how much of a struggle it was, to have children.

Raila Junior, Opposition party leader, Raila Odinga´s son, shared sentiments on how tough it has been for him and his wife, Yvonne Wambui Kibukosya, to have children.

The couple has been in marriage for close to 10 years now, but it has been a struggle for the two to have a family.

¨We had been married for a long time and we weren´t able to get a child in the very first years¨ the 39-year old recalled.

Up and close in a radio interview with Radio Jambo´s Massawe Jappani, Raila Junior expressed how frustrating it had been for the two, trying to have children but to no avail.

All brought about by pressure from their relatives and friends.

¨Yvonne and I were so okay not being able to conceive for those years but the frustrations became unbearable because of pressure from outside.¨

¨I also tried so hard not to subject Yvonne under more pressure because of the situation.¨

¨We struggled for a very long time, for about four, five years, and eventually God blessed us with our firstborn, a son¨ Raila Junior added.

However, after a whooping five years, the two were blessed with a first son.

We are all aware that Raila Junior has been one person known for his steadfast action towards the legalization of bhang in Kenya, probably a campaign that most parents would not advocate for.

He however confirmed and articulated ¨I still stand by that¨, in reference to his campaign.

¨The legalization I´m championing is for its medical use like fighting cancer¨ he goes further to clear the air on the issue.

Raila Junior went ahead to give an example of honorable MP Ken Okoth who is currently suffering from cancer and who bhang would help ease the pain.

A number might have had questions about the look on Raila Junior´s face and mouth, but he explains that he survived a tumor growth during his childhood years that affected the face and mouth, but was successfully removed.

¨I suffer from a medical condition. It was a non-cancerous tumor that was in my brain that affected my nerve system since I was young way back in 1985.¨ he recalled.

He was also thankful and glad that his sister, Rosemary Odinga, is also on the path to recovery, after undergoing an operation to remove a brain tumor, thus, partially losing her eyesight.

Zari talks about her illness hours after she was hospitalized

Diamond Platnumz baby mama Zari Hassan is currently recuperating at home after being discharged from hospital.

The Mum of 5 had earlier revealed that she was seriously ill and for this reason was forced to seek medical attention. However, she did not disclose any information about her illness until just a few hours ago.

Thanks to two posts shared on her Instagram page we understand that she had a chest infection, severe headache and tonsillitis that left her feeling weak. She wrote saying;

“I will be fine, its bad tonsillitis, fever, headache and chest infections. 3 drips Saturday, three drips today, save me lord,”

Enjoying summer

This came a few hours after posting several photos looking all sexy in her white bikini. Judging from the comments left by her Bongo in-laws most found this outfit promiscuous and not ‘suitable’ for a Mum.

Zari on the other hand was not up with such criticism as she chose to fire back. According to her, very few mothers have the privilege of achieving her body goals and this is why she cannot afford to hide it.

Diamond´s dad in an up and close interview with Tanzanian newspaper, Ijumaa Wikienda, revealed ¨It gets to a point when I just wish I was dead.¨

Diamond´s dad, Mzee Abdhul has been ailing for quite a while now, having been diagnosed with skin cancer.

He stated that this condition has given him a rough time, majorly affecting his legs.

¨This is because my ailment gets worse by the day.¨ Mzee Abdhul adds.

It is quite evident that Diamond´s dad´s health is deteriorating every dawn, in his statement, ¨I am very sick, I thank God I am breathing but it has not been easy.¨Diamond´s dad´s health is deteriorating

¨I thank my London-based daughter, Zubeda, she helped me a lot before she flew back¨.

He however appreciates the fact that his London-based daughter, Zubeda, came over to see him and helped him out a lot.

Unfortunately, the singer´s dad had much earlier on approached and even pleaded with Diamond for help, but to no avail.

Mzee Jumaa pointed out that he would take action and call for a press conference where he would spill out all that transpired, if the son, Diamond, did not respond to his call.

The daughter, Zubeda promised to fly out Mzee Abdhul for further treatment, after the necessary travel documents had been processed.

She had hoped that when she flew into Tanzania, she would be able to meet up with the brother, Diamond, and help him talk things out with the dad, but Zubeda did not succeed.

She however cited that she had a conversation with the singer´s mom, Sandra, and had agreed that the dad needed urgent medical attention.

¨We are in the middle of the process. We are looking for a passport for him at the moment¨ were Zubeda´s last words to journalists, before taking her flight back to London.

Zari the boss lady is apparently receiving medical attention at an unknown hospital in South Africa following a sudden illness.

The mother of 5 revealed this through her Instagram page where she shared a photo from her hospital bed.

However, zari did not reveal what she is suffering from but all she said is that she was seriously ill.

This comes a few days after the lass uploaded several photos enjoying her weekend with friends and family at a ‘pool party.’

As usual she had a few arguments with her bongo followers who found her swim suit abit too revealing for her age.

Zari on the other could not let this go as she also went on to throw shade since she believes age is nothing but a number; and this can’t stop her from living her life to the fullest!

Bahati this last weekend shared quite a long story talking about how he helped his former EMB signed artists.

According to his posts, Bahati confessed to have always helped the likes of David Wonder and Mr Seed. Bahati says that they never made any profits but he only suffered loses since the artists he had signed did not bring in cash.

The gospel artist went on to “shame” his former buddies in a way not many would expect.

However turns out that Mr Seed’s girlfriend had been following up on the story through her Instagram page.

Having seen what Bahati wrote about her man, Nimo Gachuiri left several detailed comments correcting Bahati.

Nimo Gachuiri denied everything Bahati had been saying about her baby’s father and David Wonder since she witnessed it all. In fact according to the new Mum in town; Bahati was the only one who benefited from the hard work Seed and the others put into EMB records.

Baby Tugi has finally turned 1 year and his parents; Njugush and Celestine Ndinda could not help but mark this special occasion in the best possible way they know.

Judging from the photos shared by the two parents; we understand that a small lit birthday party was thrown for baby Tugi to help mark the new milestone in his life.

“My Mum died from a disease doctors could not identify” Bridget Achieng breaks down after losing her mum

Bridget Achieng and her family are going through a tough time after their mum passed on this weekend. The Nairobi Diaries actress announced this on 8th March through her Instagram page leaving many shocked.

This came as a surprise to many who knew her and judging from the comments; seems that Bridget’s Mum was quiet known thanks to her golden heart of helping people.

Speaking during Bridget Achieng’s Instagram live, the actress broke down saying that doctors could not identify what her mother was suffering from. Every medical test she underwent turned out negative – something that cannot be explained.

According to Brijo she was not prepared for this and currently is not stable especially after the CSection she underwent.

Olympic champion David Rudisha In mourning after losing his dad

David Rudisha and his entire family are currently moaning the death of their father Daniel Matasi Rudisha who died on  Wednesday.

According to reports the late Daniel Matasi Rudisha died from a heart attack while he was undergoing his dialysis treatment. Although doctors tried their best to save him, the 73 year old had already crossed over.

The Olympic champion opened up about his father’s death while speaking to Sport Pesa News saying;

Our beloved father sadly left us last night. He had recovered and was on his way to fine health having been taken off the Intensive Care Unit. He was talking well and joking as usual while undergoing his dialysis treatment but at around 11pm, he suffered a sudden heart attack and efforts to resuscitate him did not bear any fruit.

This comes a few days after Rudisha shared a new photo alongside his dad and went to caption saying;

Me and my ailing father, wish him a quick recovery. Long live my dad.

Diana Marua talks about the challenges she faces on social media

Bahati’s wife Diana Marua has come forth to talk about some of the challenges she faces for being on social media.

Having married a gospel artist and starting a family has automatically put her on the limelight and for this reason she has to face both criticism and love from fans.

There are those fans who will admire her family and keep up with the Bahati’s; however there are also fans who can’t stand them and this is the most challenging part.

Developed thick skin

Speaking during an interview on Kiss FM Diana Marua explained how sometimes she wakes up to insults and mocking comments left on her page. She went on say;

The most challenging thing with our lives being out there is that people will wake up one morning and decide ‘Today let me attack Diana, today let me attack the Bahatis’. I wake up and I find our names all over and then I am like ‘What is this? What is happening?’. People feel like since you out there I am entitled to write anything I want to write about you guys and that is the most challenging thing, you can’t control that.

Although one cannot pretend this is not happening, Diana Marua says that she has learnt not to let such things affect her. 

The age difference between her and Bahati has also not made it easy for her; but despite it all she seems to have adopted to this life and there is no turning back.
