Kanze Dena pens a heartfelt note on son’s 16th birthday: Calls him ‘Son of her youth’

Former Citizen Tv news anchor Kanze Dena is over the moon celebrating her son’s 16th birthday. Well, she says it’s been an easy journey but all in all she’s grateful to have a grown up son – but in her eyes he still remains her baby boy.

To celebrate her young man’s birthday, Kanze Dena poured out her heart in a beautiful post praising Amani for his amazing talent and love for sports. She wrote;

Son of her youth

As revealed earlier, Kanze Dena apparently conceived son around 2005 while still working at KBC and as a new mum – life wasn’t as easy as many think.

Actually, trouble came running after learning she’s was pregnant and this is because she started bleeding. After a few checkups – the doctor told her she’d miscarried her baby – but turns out they were not as professional as she’d thought, since months later she learnt she was still pregnant.

16 years later – and Kanze is a proud mum of son Nathaniel Imani. Celebratinf the new milestone she went on to add;

Sauti Sol is the greatest group to come out from Africa. Imesabaratika juu ya wanawake! This what Andrew Kibe recently said during his recent vlog directed to Kenyan influencers.

First of all, Kibe says he knows he is a hater and incase you’re wondering or bothered… he doesn’t really care what you think. Again, this information served is from Kibe.

Anyway in a new video shared by the content creator, Kibe picks on the likes of Willy Paul, Frankie Just Gym it, Size 8 among other celebs, but what caught my attention is how he criticized Sauti Sol for settling down.

According to Kibe – Sauti Sol wasted their potential after settling down as husbands. According to him Polycarp was turned to a cook by his wife and now hosts a cooking show, while Bien….well, let’s just say Kibe doesn’t like the tall, dark and handsome fella – that is judging from what he said.

Apparently Bien getting married has turned him to a sissy featuring on female talk shows here and there – and has no say in his house.

This is following his statement on allowing his wife to have other sexual partners on the side, simply because he chooses his wife’s happiness over his own. Cute, right?

However according to Andrew Kibe, someone like Bien should have never settled down – since artistes in his caliber don’t marry…asking why? Apparently it kills careers adding this move killed Sauti Sol as a group.

Socialite Shakilla allegedly beats up ex boyfriend’s brother after she was dumped

Queen of the streets as she refers to herself, Shakilla just turned 20 years – however – unlike her other birthdays, this one came with too much and a heartache.

Well, rumor has it that she recently had a nasty fight with ex boyfriend’s brother after stealing her ex man’s passport. This is after got to the guy’s apartment and found he wasn’t present.

His absence apparently got Shakilla agitated and I’m guessing at this point – she must have known he was dodging her hence her move to steal the passport. According to the source that shared the information, Shakilla allegedly then started demanding for $5000 in order to return the passport – which then resulted to a fight.

Barely 24 hours after the exposè Shakilla on the other hand responded with a long post explaining her side of the story.

In one of the posts she started off by confessing about a ‘long day’ she’d had the previous night saying;

Then went on to add a follow up post, where she confirmed to have been involved in ‘fight’ that may have been caught in camera. However she chooses to “disassociate” herself from the videos – incase they surfaced online.

According to Shakilla, whatever happened, happened but as of now she chooses to keep her brand clean from such scandals to avoid tarnishing her image later in life.

Whatever happened I believe time is what shall make it heal. It was bad for my BUSINESS and personal relations reputation.

The young lass went on to add that despite having been nicknamed Queen of the streets, she never wants to be involved in a street brawl.

Wanjiku Mburu popularly known as Mama Baha got her big miracle at 39 years. A pregnancy, a baby in her womb after years of trying to get pregnant just like most women struggling with infertility.

She opened up about her struggles with fertility public during an interview saying;

To tell you the truth, I was not convinced. It was a good surprise, I told God sorry for doubting. I have been looking and I love children, I was dealing with children all along but not my own. I started acting with my young Milly at the age of 6 months. I have also been brought up in a family set up and children is something I wanted to have, but I said, in case I don’t have, it is still okay.

And after 2 years of prayers, she finally conceived – something she describes as a miracle from God. According to her, she couldn’t believe it at first until the baby bump started showing.

YY comedian addresses claims of stealing 100k from Linus, the alleged shoplifter

YY comedian does not regret stepping in to help Alvin Linus Chivondo, the man who was jailed for shoplifting at Naivas supermarket just recently.

As reported, the 21 year old allegedly stole 5 kgs of rice, honey, tea leaves, and sugar, all totaling Ksh. 3,165. And looking at the list – it’s all foodstuffs.

Well, whether small or big, a crime is a crime which explains why a Nairobi court
sentenced to 1 year in jail or a fine of Sh100, 000 for his freedom. So yea, imagine a man who can’t afford food being asked to pay 100k – atatoa Wapi?

Anyway with the story trending, comedian YY says got involved by mobilizing netizens to contribute to Ksh 100,000 fine for Linus’ freedom. This is because he could relate with the young man who also like him, has a 4 months old and, understands the hardships that come with this current economy.

So imagine life for a 21 year old with a wife, no job and a 4 months old baby….Linus was clearly desperate for quick solution.

Unfortunately despite YY’s act of kindness keyboard warriors on Facebook somehow managed to tarnish his image.

This is after his harambee move was countered by Sonko who stepped in to pay of Linus’ bail…hence leaving YY with the money already contributed by well wishers way before the MP came on board.

Anyway, having Sonko pay the fine then pushed the few Kenyans who had earlier contributed to reversing their money back, which brings us here.

Well, as seen on some comments, many have accused YY of pocketing the money now that Linus got help, while others went lower by reversing their money back.

For some reason, netizens painted him as a thief, conman whose aim was to rob Kenyans in the name of ‘helping Linus’ adding his aim was use was to use the funds to sort out his unfinished house back in the village.

However speaking to Mungai Eve, YY denied the allegations – adding that the money contributed was meant for Linus, so why reverse it back? As for those complaining, the comedian made it known that the money went to the guy’s rent, food and fare.

Consumator on receiving threats after revealing how fellow comedian kicked him out during his lowest point in life

Former Churchill Show comedian Peter Wamweya popularly known as Consumator has not had it easy since 2019. Just like everyone else, Covid 19 pandemic caught him off guard hence pulling him down to his lowest moments in life.

In a recent interview, Consumator opened up revealing how and what led to his financial struggles – despite the many years he worked with Churchill show and other bigger brands.

Well, unlike the other comedians accused of drinking away their hard earned cash – turns out Consumator used all of his money on treatment. According to the comedian his life savings went to his dad’s prostate treatment which helped save his life; but on the other hand – left him broke.

With no money and no jobs due to the pandemic – the comedian was then forced to cohabit with a friend/comedian hoping things would look up. However, even after cutting the costs, none of that seemed to work. For the first time in his life, affording rent worth 3k was proving to be harder than he imagined. I mean no one was hiring and his dad back at home still needed therapy.

Anyway with this problem at hand – Consumator could no longer settle the bills as agreed, something that pushed his housemate to kick him out – 3 months after failing to pay rent. The perfect excuse he had been waiting for.

However, Consumator says this did not come as a surprise to him, but what he couldn’t understand is the animosity portrayed by the said friend.

Fast forward. With the interview out and tabloids reporting about his woes, Consumator recently spoke with presenter Ali giving a follow up on his interview; and boy are things just not working in his favor.

Apparently after speaking out, he has since faced stigmatization from those closest to him and has his former housemate threatening him. Speaking about the threat, Consumator said;

That person that hosted me is a comedian. He is doing very well, even on online. Yeye ameinuka but he has started threatening me like ‘uliongea, najua ni mimi ulikuwa unaongelea.’

But despite the pain and embarrassment, Consumator still refused to give the name of the comedian saying;

I won’t mention his name but he knows himself.

Unlike your bitter ex deleting your photos from his/her social media pages, Governor Alfred Mutua says he is not planning on deleting ex wife’s Lilian Ng’ang’a’s photos from his social media pages.

Well, you can call it maturity, living in denial or whatever but as far as we now know, Alfred Mutua will not delete his exes photos just because they broke up. The Maendeleo Chap Chap leader revealed this during a candid interview with Nairobi News, making it known these are memories he treasures.

As we already know, the two had been together for 10 years – meaning they shared more than just pictures but lifetime memories. Speaking on why he still has her photos, the Governor said;

Regardless of any bad outcome or falling out, usually, if you spend a long time with anybody, as a friend, as a lover, as a family, the good times are better and more than the bad times.

This past weekend was quite eventful with the many ceremonies held to celebrate Easter. However we all know Nyashinski’s concert,the Shin city concert that saw fans from all over attend.

So apart from the electric performance given by the artist, content creator Abel Mutua’s wife Judy Nyawira also happened to trend on social media courtesy of the event. This is after she was caught on camera appearing rather lonely and confused – while their friends Njugush and wife, Celestine Ndinda coupled up singing along to Nyashinski’s song at the event.

About a week ago Sarah Kabu happened to disclose unknown details about her marriage to Simon Kabu, saying their relationship was toxic and full of drama.

Kamene Goro just celebrated her 30th birthday recently, and unlike her other birthdays – this one was special. She just upgraded from the 2nd floor to the 3rd which is a blessing considering how everything she has archived so far.

However at 30, one would have expected Kamene Goro to have settled down by now or even has a kid, but this is not the case. Actually judging from how Kamene Goro speaks of marriage, I have a feeling she won’t be embarking on that journey anytime soon especially after her first failed marriage.

Speaking about it (failed marriage) a few days ago, Kamene described it as a waste of time – a move that robbed her 3 years of her career, just because she wanted love. Having settled down at 23 years due to lack of knowledge, Kamene through her morning Kiss show spoke about her experience saying;

I have been through one/two heartbreaks. I cried for two days before I prayed about it. God helped me through it. I wouldn’t be here if it was not for him.

Regrets

From what she says is that at 23, she could have achieved so much more and might have changed her life for good. Looking back, she regrets the time wasted on her lover who ended up disappointing her in the end after wasting her time.

So far we have seen Mulamwah humiliate his ex Carrol Sonnie who doubles up as his baby mama now that they’re no longer together.

Well, it stared off with harmless stunts where Mulamwah would tease fans with photos of his new girlfriend; but the whole time Sonnie maintained her silence to avoid drama.

Looking at it from Kibe’s third eye concept – I’m thinking Mulamwah’s aim was to see whether Sonnie would catch feelings; but instead – she kept acting unbothered the whole time….again not what Mulamwah hoped hence his troubled stunts.

With no response on the many stunts and exposes he has done on her, Mulamwah must have felt really frustrated. He must have also asked him severally….Did she really love me? Was she in it for the fame? Where could I have gone wrong? Why can’t she apologize for the past mistakes? Again, did she really love me?

But truth is Sonnie must have been done with him a long time ago – to even care whether he left her or not. Probably this explains why Mulamwah alleges she tried aborting Keilah.

Well, from what I know is women don’t have babies with men they don’t genuinely love; or can’t benefit financially from. It’s a hustle for some.

Anyway – in Mulamwah’s case I bet he regrets leaving that early. He should have had a plan. Not his I am a legend. I impregnated Sonnie and left <sh!tty small boy theory> ~~damn~~ Mulamwah you were there throughout the whole pregnancy. You ‘daddied up’ the moment she got positive results from the pregnancy test.

Sarah Kabu isn’t sure of what she wants. Actually I feel that she still has so much going on in her head, that she’s ready to settle for any less dramatic solution- just to have a peaceful environment.

Barely 48 hours after her candid interview with Christina Lewis The Voice Of East Africa, Sarah Kabu now says she wants to work things between her and hubby, Simon Kabu. This however comes at a time when Sarah had already made it known, she’s done and dusted from her marriage which was full of issues.

Judging from what she said, it’s obvious to see there is struggle of power in terms of property ownership. This is mainly because Simon Kabu already has two grown kids from previous relationships – and may be after their dad’s wealth – which Sarah says is her sweat.

You try to build your empire and then the money goes to support his blood. To me, they are not part of me. There is nothing we can do about it. I take it as a charity project.

Adding;

It has not been a big deal since I have been on the journey by even guiding him to some of the good schools he can take them. But for me, he should carry his own cross.

Singer Viviane was trending about a week ago following alleged beef with rapper Sosuun on social media. However we later learnt that the ladies created the alleged beef, hoping to create hype for their latest project and it worked.

Maybe because they were smart enough with their last stunt, that involved an alleged fight. Anyway, with ta video showing Sosuun attack Vivian, someone got creative and started circulating photos showing Vivian’s swollen face, claiming this was a result of the fight.

But turns out these are old photos shared by Vivian a while back after she suffered a serious allergy. Speaking about her condition back then, Vivian wrote;

My Kitengela people, I hope you will forgive me for not showing up tonight. I fell sick on my way. My allergies blew over. I am however optimistic I will get better as I am already on my antihistamines. I hope to come perform next week.

My mind was not calm

However in a recent interview with Mungai Eve, Vivian says the allergies came at a time when she had so much on her plate – to a point – the issues affected her mentally.

Actually, she’s been wanting out since January 2022 – but claims Simon wasn’t having it.

Sarah Kabu reveals she is done with her marriage

The Bonfire adventures owner opened up about this during recent interview with Tina Lewis of Voice of East Africa; revealing that their marital woes began in 2003 but after 10 years of giving the marriage her best years, the solution is to put it all to an end.

Judging from the interview and what was said – I really don’t think there was any new information offered, that hasn’t been reported by bloggers yet.

However, we also can’t forget this is a personal issue between man and wife – meaning there are things, the public still don’t know about two.

Sarah hints possibility of hubby involved with Slay Queens

Some of the things fans may not be aware of include Simon Kabu’s two baby mamas who Sarah says have tried interfering with her family.

Nadia Mukami is happy to have baby Haseeb Kai out of her womb and into her hands after a whole 9 months journey . She says it wasn’t an easy journey – but, I bet she will be saying the opposite in a few weeks time – when Haseeb Kai starts screaming his lungs out. It’s just been a week, so relax.

This past weekend Mishi Dora almost brought social media to a standstill after sharing a receipt; flaunting Ksh 204, 250 bill paid from a night out, and from how she captioned the post – fans quickly assumed she was bragging about the money she owns.

With this post, Mishi Dora confirmed that she has enemies and haters all around – that is judging from the reactions received after posting the bill online. There are those who quickly dismissed her stunt while saying there like Black Cinderella who came in guns blazing to tell fans of how broke Mishi Dora is.

As seen on a now deleted post shared on Black Cinderella’s posts, the lady for no apparent reason started exposing Mishi Dora on her page; and to make things worse – chose to dig up old stories from Nairobi Diaries 2018 just to prove that Mishi Dora lies with every breath she takes. In a now deleted post, socialite Black Cinderella wrote;

Watu wanateseka huku nje kama hii suruali ya Malaya. Musiwaone is hivyo wameamua wakaze mattercore tu. I just saved souls from going to follow bad examples.

Well apart from the alleged faked lifestyle, Black Cinderella went on to remind fans about 2018; the year Mishi Dora asked one of her friends, Glamour Pamm to announce that she had lost a child – to which Pamm blindly agreed to and went on to post;

Please pray and support Mishi, who has lost his beautiful child. No one can explain or understand the pain she is going through. It’s good with God!

Something Mishi Dora later regretted doing. However according to black Cinderella, Mishi pulled this stunt while drunk. She exposed the former socialite saying;

Former Churchill Show comedian Njoro back to drinking like a fish after rehab?

Comedian George Njoroge popularly known as Njoro did not have it easy in 2020 following the pandemic. However, it was not just him but everybody else trying to adjust to the changes that also included joblessness and a pretty shaken economy.

Well, we would have expected things to be a little different considering he is a celebrity who had bagged well paying deals right before the pandemic; so yea – there was no way Njoro was broke – but with the way he was he was drinking…mmmh red flag.

I say this because in mid 2020 the comedian was rumored to be facing some mental health struggles due to finances. From the rumors circulating on social media is that Njoro has turned to alcohol for comfort; something that forced his wife and kids to move out – leaving him on his own.

Kenyans step in

As usual Kenyans on social media including his colleagues offered to help the young man bounce back; but before that he had to undergo some rehabilitation to help stop with the alcohol abuse.

However before moving to rehab – Njoro held a candid interview with Massawe Jappani to share his story; now that everyone was branding him an alcoholic. Speaking on the interview, the comedian did not just admit to having slipped but confessed how he wasted Sh3.9 million on alcohol and parties.

From what he said is that he had made this money from the three US trips he had made in 2019 which earned him Sh1.3 million in each. However seeing how easy it was to make this kind of money he ended up wasting it all by spoiling his friends and others. He said;

“It was party after party for me. I had so much money at the time and I did not think it would ever run out. Hence, I blew it all and in no time, I was broke.”

Njoro sliding back into old ways?

Anyway months after bagging his job at KTN and having spent a couple of months in rehab – looks like Njoro could be slowly sliding back to when his life depended on alcohol.

This is following a recent tweet shared by one Kinyua wa Muthoni who happened to bump into Njoro at a certain local; and according to the fella he is convinced that – former churchill Show comedian Njoro isn’t doing so well as we thought.

From what he wrote is that Njoro not only looked disturbed at the KEG joint but he also kept talking to him himself. And of course him being a celebrity, his presence at the pub wouldn’t have gone unnoticed.

But unlike other Twitter users who would have used this opportunity to roast Njoro, the guy instead pleaded with Njoro’s close circle to check up on their boy. Because he is losing it.
