On the interview Pozee revealed that his land will be used to build a his modern home where he will probably retire after his music career. This piece of land apparently is right next to where Khaligraph will soon be setting his home with Georgina in the near future.

When asked why and when they are planning to release an official video; Gloria made it known that for now they will be working with the uploaded video until she is done solving her issue with Pozee.
According to Gloria, Pozee has to fix his ways before they can agree to recording an official video for Wema. She said;

Kush Tracey’s recent release with Kristoff and Yvonne Darcq dubbed Bash has elicited mixed reactions and left many wondering whether she’s still a gospel musician.
Earlier this year, the Ndulu hitmakerannounced that she had seen the light and she has been releasing songs that glorify the man above until recently when she chose a different path.
Her outfits have also raised eyebrows. According to her critics, Kush Tracey’s recent dress code doesn’t reflect someone who is saved.

The actions of local gospel musicians makes anyone wonder whether there is a line that they can’t cross i.e. how far they are willing to go.
Ideally, they are supposed to lead their lives in a certain way so that people who look up to them desire to be like them but they don’t do that.
You would not be wrong if you said that modern-day gospel musicians are leading people away from the Lord instead of calling them to Him.

You see, we live in an age where an artist doesn’t have to rely on mainstream media. i.e. TV, radio and newspapers, to grow his or her fan base. As such, we’ll spare the mainstream media in this discourse.
I strongly feel like blame should be apportioned equally on the artists themselves, producers, DJs, fans and video directors. In my opinion, all these people are sleeping on their jobs.
These parties are supposed to play various roles to ensure that Kenyan music transcends our borders but they are slacking.
For instance, why can’t our producers make beats that can be enjoyed by foreign audiences or people who are outside Kenya?
Why can’t our video directors make good videos that are worthy of being played on international music TV shows? Why must they overcharge artists for good videos?
Why can’t our deejays, especially those who play in popular clubs, have Kenyan songs back-to-back on their playlists? Why are they biased towards Tanzanian, Nigerian and South African artists?

As music fans, why are we not requesting and/or buying Kenyan music? Why are we not showing up for events to show Kenyan artists that are solidly behind them?
Lastly, when will our artists stop being lazy? Why can’t they be proactive? When will they learnt that the biggest secret to success is consistency?
We’ve had this conversation so many times. It has gotten to a point where it is tiring to even talk about these things. It’s time for change!

This guy can sing, rap, croon, chant and wail across the most difficult productions in the world of music – and in some cases – do a solo medley while at it! If that’s not incredible, I don’t know what is.
Michael Bundi cannot be tamed into a regular voice category. You want to hear your favorite cover in baritone? Mezo-soprano? Tenor? Countertenor? Contralto? He’s game. (Oh, you didn’t even know there’s a Contralto? Ha!)
A casual perusal into his YouTube channel will enslave you. There’s no exiting. There’s a butt-load of talent buried in cyberspace waiting to be discovered. It’s not hyperbole.

In response to the insults thrown his way by Willy Paul, controversial gospel singer Ringtone has now requested Dr Ezekiel Mutua; who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Film Classification Board to ban the song!
Through his official Instagram page, Ringtone shared the message below saying;
DEAR @dr.ezekielmutuaPLEAS BURN THIS STUPID ,EVIL, DEVILISH SONG BY WILLYPAUL AND NADIA MUKAMI TO BRING SANITY IN THIS MUSIC INDUSTRY.
While the two carry on with their circus on social media; fans are now hoping they both venture into comedy since they have proven to be talented in that area.
In most countries, the male artists dominate over their female counterparts. Even in Kenya the discussion is always about Khaligraph, King Kaka, Sauti Sol, Willy Paul, Bahati or the Gengetone artists – who are mostly male.
But somehow, there’s a female artist who has managed to break that ‘curse’ and that’s none other than the gorgeous Nadia Mukami – the lass who is behind hits such as; Si Rahisi, Yule Yule, Radio Love, Jipe, just to name a few.

To add to that, I think she has a good team behind her, they are always doing their best to ensure that she’s not only the best artist in Kenya but in the continent like Angelique Kidjo, Lira or Yemi Alade.

Also there is the fact that she is beautiful, has a bubbly personality and her angelic voice makes you want to listen to her songs over and over. She sounds very pleasant to the ears.
Although it’s tough being a female artist, bearing in mind all the challenges that come with it, I think Nadia Mukami has the potential. I she continues at the same pace, then maybe, just maybe, she might bag a Grammy someday.

I am a huge fan of Willy Paul so you can already tell that I love this jam. However, I strongly feel like Pozze is making secular songs with gospel beats but then again maybe it’s just me.

Pozze is a dope vocalist and in Jamaican Gyal he proves that he can control his voice by not going out of tune as he moves from high to low and vice versa.
Although I’m a big fan of his, I must say that I wasn’t impressed by the lyricism in this track. The verses felt so basic and it’s like he hurried to write the song.
The beat and instrumentation on this track are on point. However, like I mentioned earlier, they would have worked better for a gospel song than a secular one.

This song is not that bad. The Chuchuma hitmaker is still trying to establish himself as a secular artist so we have to cut him some slack.
That said, Willy Paul has an amazing voice. This guy can really sing and perhaps that explains why people still listen to him even after switching sides.
He has the kind of voice that sweeps ladies, and some men over their feet and to add to that, he sings with a Coastal accent, that is what sets him apart.

However, I must say that the lyrics for Magnetic fell short of my expectations. They are so basic and it actually made me wonder this is the same Willy Paul who is known to be a good songwriter.
I don’t know about you but the rhymes sound so basic, you can almost predict what he is going to say next. To make matters worse, there is a lot of repetition take for instance the chorus. It’s really tiring.
The beat and instrumentation by Ilogos Music is on point. Other than the fact that they are catchy, they also blend so well with Pozee’s smooth vocals.
I totally love the video for this jam. Although the concept is simple, I really love the execution. It goes without saying that the vixen is sexy AF and apparently she is the gospel singer’s wife.
