10 Highest Paid African Presidents. Uhuru Could Have Taken A Pay Cut But He Is Still Ranked High. What Number One Pockets Will Stun You (Photos)
Have you ever asked yourself just how much African Head of States and Governments take home at the end of the month? Worry no more, the list is finally out!
Africa is the poorest continent on the face of the world. Even so, its Presidents are some of the highest paid on planet earth.
The huge disparity between what African leaders pocket and what their subjects take home each end month just tells one only the messiah can save this dark continent, literally!
Our own President made the cut to be included in the list of highest paid Presidents in Africa. Unye was ranked impressively 5th.
After announcing he would be trimming his handsome salary, Uhuru rakes in a cool Kes 12.7 million per annum or Kes 1.06 million a month.
The President’s salary has seen him land at position 5 on the list. If you think Uhuru’s pay is a big deal, wait tell you see what Cameroon’s Lion Man takes home.
Paul Biya, Cameroonian President, is the ‘lowest’ paid Chief Executive in the continent, he earns peanuts as basic salary, Kes 20,807 a month.
Wait a minute! His tulittle allowance though, totally INSANE! Biya banks Kes 58.8 million a year or Kes 4.9 million a month. (Allowance)
Now am confused! I don’t comprehend how someone is the lowest paid yet at the same time he harvests millions.
Well, number as I said will make you scratch your head…
I can’t understand in my wildest fantasy how the President of Somalia topped this list. I would beg to differ but numbers don’t lie, the Somali leader pockets a staggering Kes 144.6 million a month.
How can a leader of a country that has been the theater of war for the last two decades be earning so much?
