Akothee is the latest musician who tried to rescue Princess Julie from the pangs of poverty but the ‘Dunia Mbaya’ hit maker decided to be VERY ungrateful and ridiculously rude.
In a lengthy post, Akothee revealed she invited Princess Julie to her Mombasa house where she was to discuss how she would help her get back in the industry.
Even before she travelled to Mombasa, Princess Julie demanded that Akothee clears her rent arrears and pay for her bus fare. She travelled with her son.
Drama ensued when Julie arrived at Akothee’s house in Mombasa; she didn’t want anyone to take photos of her and Akothee was cool with her decision; friction between the two songstresses started when Julie’s son took a photo of her mother and uploaded on Facebook.
A vexed Princess Julie uttered satirical words in Luo to scold Akothee;
“Stop posting my photos with Akothee on Facebook, people will see her with me and think she has given me million and there is nothing she has helped me with,” Akothee recited Princess Julie’s word. (The words have been translated from Luo).
All hell broke loose when Akothee told Julie that she would be monitoring how she makes money with the sound system she was going to give her; Julie burst out in anger and rebuked Akothee.
Annoyed and disappointed by her action, Akothee decided to kick her out the following morning. She says she doesn’t regret her to decision to do so.

According to reliable sources within the company, the main focus of these job cuts will be mostly managers, and 100 jobs will be cut.
Many at Radio Africa were comfortable in their managerial positions, which they believed were untouchable due to the human aspect of things. However, Radio Africa deemed them useless in favour of what is called Enterprise Resource Planning Software(ERP Software). Now instead of manually checking on people’s work, all employees will need to do is to update the software with their daily tasks, and a small number of managers will generate reports to give to Radio Africa leadership. With the ERP in place, only a few tech savvy managers who know how to operate it will remain. Mostly the tech illiterate ones will not survive. Kenya has been caught unawares by the bad guys one too many times; it was perhaps the reason why the country’s armed forces decided to purchase a drone that will enable them keep an eagle eye on terrorists.
News about Kenya acquiring ScanEagle drones was first reported in February 2016, a few weeks after the bloody El-Adde attack.

In his latest Instagram Live, the singer went ham on his heaters calling them all sorts of names as he claims they are just envious. “You don’t need to hate me because I don’t hate you, by the way I don’t f*cking know you, the person that hates me, I don’t know him” he said.
He went on to add that he only values those who love him, as they motivate him to be better. Diamond Platnumz however lost his patience and starting cursing out of the blues “I only know people who love me because I always concentrate with people who love me, who support me, if you hate me f*ck you, I don’t know you,”

I dropped out of school & got married at the age of 14 , I had 4 kids by the time I was 20 years old , I served my mother in law as a house girl for 7 solid years since my then husband was a student.
During that time she had 4 children and had to work as a house-help for her mother in law for 7 years. According to her, she had not lost hopes of returning to school to complete her education. After 10 years of being a submissive wife, the singer went back to school and managed to score a C+ even though Mathematics was a bit harsh on her.

The daring Rights Activist has revealed his enemies have found a way to hit him where it hurts the most. Boniface said he had faced countless threats in his life ever since he became an activist but he was never cowed by them, until recently.
“Since l became an activist, my life has changed significantly. I can’t be out alone late at night. A veteran politician once cautioned me that evil loves the dark. I am constantly looking over my shoulder. When working late or hanging out with friends, l must ensure I am with trusted company. I cannot speak freely on my phone. I have had to adjust my life drastically as I cannot afford to take these threats lightly. Routinely, supportive friends with access to info will send me information shared by people who have been paid to spy on me. In spite of these chilling reports, I refuse to be intimidated into silence. I refuse to be paralyzed by fear,” Boniface wrote in part.
The Rights Activist revealed his enemies have now resorted to threaten his wife and kids after they discovered he wasn’t scared by the threats on his life.
“I am anguished because the threats are now taking a more dangerous tone. For the first time since I began engaging in activism, my wife and children have been included as targets. The source of the threats claims that because I have refused to be bought and won’t compromise, I have put my family in danger.”
Boniface disclosed that he received the threats on his family as he was returning home from America where he had gone to promote his book, The UnBounded.
“We were meant to travel back last week, but then I received a frightening warning message: “DO NOT COME HOME: THEY WILL KILL YOU.” To prove the message’s authenticity, my source shared specific details of how they intend to hurt me and my family. It has broken my heart to see my wife cry, almost everyday. In her tears she keeps saying, “You fight for Kenyans everyday, but who will fight for me and for our children?”
He goes on to reveal that his family and friends have always been sick worried about his safety ever since he started getting threats on his life.
“My close family and friends are in constant fear for my life. My mother-in-law even has a permanent prayer chain of friends who pray for me daily. Do I fear for my life? It’s the question on everyone’s mind and it comes up at every interview or talk I give. Like most humans, I am afraid of death, but often my convictions for a better Kenya have overcome this real and palpable fear. It is a great sacrifice to die for Kenya, but an even better one to live for her.”
Boniface says he intends to make a statement to the police regarding the current threats on his family upon touching down in Kenya.
“As I write this, I am on my way back home. I intend to make a statement of the current threats to the police. They may not do much about it, but I will have done my part in reporting. My family will follow once I have shared all the information I have with the police,”

A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary… You have all failed us.
We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day.
Where are the recovered looted funds?
Why do we still have the executive arms and legislatures still enjoying their salaries and allowances while we hear there’s no money to pay workers?
Why do we still see ceaseless power failures with no explanation and hope of getting out of it unlike before?
Why do we keep seeing peace talks in Niger Delta, fulani heardsmen and ipob without any solutions being reached, while the strategies keeps aggravating the people involved as political leaders stage forums to extort funds in the name of addressing their subjects?
Why did we have petrol price rise to 145 for the sake of global oil price crash and removal of subsidy but such price is still being maintained despite significant re-awakening of the oil price from $30/barrel to $56/barrel?
Who is to be held accountable for the sudden and continuous hike in price of commodities in the market, where for the first time in history, Nigeria is suddenly selling kerosene at 400 naira per litre as against 50 naira per litre, diesel at 300 naira per litre as against 100 naira per litre and petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira? Yet maintaining the same systems, environment and maybe a lesser money spending government.
There’s need for Nigerians to rise against what is happening in this country having waited patiently for the legislatures that were elected to represent the people all to no avail.
There is popularity and then there is Pastor Ng’ang’a. The evangelist made headlines for the better part of last year after he was accused of hitting a motorist with his range rover and running away. He is alleged to have been drunk at the time.

Grace Msalame’s baby daddy, Paul Ndichu, will soon walk down the aisle with his fiance, MO, as revealed by his close friend on social media.

Ministry of transport announced the arrival of second batch of locomotives from China on Saturday 28th; thereafter Kenya Railways did a live demo of the features on the trains.
Kenyans were specifically keen to see the features on the first class passenger coach after being disappointed earlier by photos of the freight locomotives.
