The battle don’t stop! Seems like the war was far from over, let me distance myself from the melee though, you never know, shrapnel may fly my way. I love my face, and lots of other things too. 

So Yesterday Huddah posts a TBT of her as a sweet cuddly brown skinned baby, however, It seems that the photo was not all,she chose to add a rather suggestive caption“TBT, light skin since birth! How many girls can throwback their baby pics? The only thing missing is my weave and lipstick”

what exactly did Huddah mean? That she was a natural light skin since birth? Well pretty much that, she went on to ask “How many ladies can post their throwback pics as kids? Probably this was meant to ask:- Can people recognize your throwback photo if you posted one? Huddah went on to say, “The only thing missing in her baby photo was her weave and lipstick” This means that she has remained the way she was born years ago, and the only alterations are lipstick and weave.

My name is Cabu Gah. And,on my way to town at exactly 14:58pm,DRAMA happened right infront of Me. I was in a taxi from TRM,Thika Road,when,right at Homeland,Inn I saw a bus that had apparently been commanded to STOP right in the middle of the road. The taxi driver screeched to an abrupt halt. Other vehicles along Thika Road stopped in a huff,too. I feared the worst. And thought that Terrorists had taken control of the Bus.

All cars stopped…And then Drama started unfolding. The Bus stopped right in the middle of the road…And then I saw people,brandishing pistols hopping into it and prancing around it. My suspicions were confirmed…THIS WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK.

I was wrong. The truth was revealed quick fast…I saw a Somali Woman commanding cars to use the right lane…And she controlled Traffic from then on..

I told My driver NOT to drive away…But park right ahead of the Bus. He obliged.

Vehicles were now moving slowly…Buses and Matatus and personal cars were now piling up the road…snaking away…Heads craned out of the fully-open windows.

I looked back and saw ALL the occupants of the Bus had been COMMANDED to STEP OUT. I had grim memories of the tragic Mandera Bus killings drama. Thankfully,It wasn’t a terror attack. These were Offices from the Kenya Flying Squad Unit.

I go out of the taxi…And walked towards the Bus…asking a woman mid-way,”Ni nini”?

“Tumeambiwa tushuke…Ati hii gari iko na kesi….” she said,shaking.

I asked a gentleman,”Ni nini Boss…Kwani Kunaendaje?”

“Wamesema tushuke…sisi wote…Wanasema hii gari ni ya Wakora…”

“Hii ni ile gari ya kutoa wanawake nguo….” someone yelled at Me…

“Ati?” I asked,rushing over towards him….

“Hii ni ile Bus ya wale watu walitoa Mwanamke nguo…’ He repeated…walking away quick.

I immediately called Ghafla’s Photographer Tonny Ndung’u,to ask him to call a taxi ASAP and come to Thika Road. He was Off. Damn.

I quickly asked the taxi guy to drive to town ASAP. He did. I rushed to the office quick and in 4 minutes,Tonny had come. Great! We called a taxi which came in 17 minutes and we were off to Thika Road again.

We got there. There was NO trace of the Bus. Or people. Or Police Officers. Nothing.

Do we go to Muthaiga Police Station Or Kasarani??

“Twende Kasarani…” Tonny suggested

And off,we drove to Kasarani Police Station. Were lucky. We met a super-busy crew of CID investigators,Flying Squad Officers,Regular Police and other Police Bosses in the C.I.D room. Grilling suspects.

We introduced ourselves…said we wanted interviews and photos…And we were promised to NOT only take photos but also interview the DCIO and the OCS. Awesome!

We did what we had to do,talked to who we had to talk to,photographed who we had to photograph and interviewed who we had to interview.

And here,REVEALING for the FIRST TIME IN KENYA,is the FACE OF the Driver who was driving the Bus in which a Woman was stripped and her private organs tastelessly violated and groped and exposed at length.

Here is the MASTERMIND of the horrific ordeal. He is currently being held by the Police under tight security. He was there. And he was the one driving that Bus. And here is THE BUS too….

 

We also reveal the BUS. And urge the Public to avoid it at all costs from today henceforth.

Nairobi senator Mike Sonko has interesting reasons that will dissuade you from sharing videos of women being stripped.

Videos of women getting stripped are not only nauseating but traumatizing as well, just by watching them, one can’t help but have a sense of guilt. It seems Sonko noted this too and that why he researched further and came up with compelling reason as to why such videos shouldn’t be shared across.

Sonko came up with 5 reason that will convince any straight thinking person to stop sharing the clips; down are Sonko’s reasons:

Five reasons why you should not share a video of a woman being stripped/attacked:

1. It was taken without the consent of the victim
2. it was circulated without the consent of the victim
3.  when you view/share/forward you are committing a crime against the victim
4.  if the video was taken to record the perpetrators, it should have been given ONLY to the victim to use as evidence
5. by viewing and forwarding such videos, you are feeding an industry of gang rape porn that demands constant supply of fresh content, and so you’re encouraging more attacks..If you must share, ask yourself what if it is you or your relative, would you dare share widely?

Uhuru Kenyatta owns one of Kenya’s main media conglomerate, Media Max which is the parent company to about four radio stations plus K24.

The radio stations owned by Media Max are Kameme FM, Meru FM, Mbaitu FM, Maa FM and Milele FM. The group also owns People Newspaper.

Very recently, information in the media circles started circulating that Uhuru Kenyatta wanted to buy into one of Kenya’s biggest Media Groups, Standard Media Group. It was said that that UK had bought majority shares in Standard Group from Joshua Kulei and Moi.

After doing some investigations we found that all this was just a media buzz that held no truth at all. As for now, Uhuru owns Media Max and is not looking to buy into Standard Group.

Lucy takes the cup for being the most spirited first ladies we have ever had in our country. She was not afraid of drama as was demonstrated when she stormed into the Nation Media offices .

This was after she made it to the front page of their newspaper for a story about her storming into the Muthaiga police station in shorts. After having a sit-in in the media house, Lucy said that she would wear what she pleased including bikinis.

She also made international headlines when she slapped a government official and MC in front of notable people during an award-ceremony held at state house. The MC got slapped for introducing her using the name of President Mwai Kibaki’s second, and unacknowledged, wife, Mary Wambui.

I could go on and on about Lucy since there was never a dull moment when she was around. Lucy has however been awfully quite especially during her husband’s latest tenure in Statehouse and many alleged that she had kicked the bucket .Something which was proven untrue.

Since then, many have wondered where the former first lady is since she has not been spotted in public in a while. Citizen TV reports that Mama Lucy on Monday walked into Nairobi Hospital flanked by a tight security detail.

According to a source Lucy had gone for a regular check up but was admitted in the St Teresa private wing.

 

We wish the former First Lady a quick recovery.

Her comeback to the media was facilitated by NTV’s Mark Masai, who attended a church session where Yvonne made a presentation. He was so impressed by her poise, grace and authority during her presentation that he hooked her up with a screen test on NTV and as they say, the rest is history.

Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar is one unhappy man after what he says are two bloggers trying to assassinate him through incitement on their blogs.

The senator says that he has been threatened before over the years he has been in service but this time round he has taken seriously the threats from the bloggers because of the large following they have on social media.

The two bloggers, Mugo Wa Wairimu and Willy Omosa, are said to associate the senator with the militia group Al-Shabaab and say in their blogs that Omar should be shot at close range for being an Al-Shabaab sympathiser.

This comes after 28 Kenyans were brutally murdered in Mandera by the insurgents who infiltrated into the country and did the massacre.

Hassan Omar has been in the forefront in opposing the government’s move to raid mosques in Mombasa and close them down after they were believed to harbour terrorist activities.

Senator Omar told the Senate that the two bloggers have been busy inciting the masses against him and wanted the Senate to discuss the matter.

Raged senators said it is high time the director of public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko took up the matter and ensured the two bloggers are brought to book for trying to assassinate the senator.

Led by majority leader Prof. Kithure Kindiki and minority leader Moses Wetangula, the senators said such incidences should be taken seriously and that the life of Kenyans is not something to joke with now that insecurity is a major concern in Kenya.

 

Kenya is continuously gaining a bad reputation.

Last year, it was because of people deciding that sex with other human beings was ‘too mainstream ‘and deciding that a bump in the sack with a domesticated animal was appropriate. Next came the Westgate Massacre which affected the tourism industry significantly due to fears of terrorist attacks. But the straw that broke the camel’s back was the recent escalating levels of violence against women.

It is now emerging president Uhuru wasn’t the only high ranking official from Kenya to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Machakos governor and his beautiful first lady were in United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) as well.

Uhuru may have stolen the glamour at Abu Dhabi with the selfies he uploaded but governor Mutua too has certainly grabbed a share of it. The governor’s wife,Lillian Ng’ang’a is debatably Kenya’s most pretty first lady, the two lovebirds were also in Abu Dhabi enjoying themselves.

She has not been in the country for a while now, she was out and about doing business as usual, I was lucky enough to raise her on her cellular last night, A bubbly Vera would tell me that she was extra happy to be back home, (you know, home is best, west or south, -or something like that) 

I asked her about her Education, you remember she is pursuing a degree at KU, she told me that she was contemplating distance learning owing to the fact that she had grown too  busy to be in school full time. Apart from her plans to go the digital school way, Vera disclosed that she is opening one of the biggest hair shops in East Africa, right here in Nairobi, she will be retailing all manners of human hair and extensions, Brazillian, mongolian, Morroccan.. etcetera etcetera. In addition to selling you good hair, Vera will also give you awesome tips on how to maintain that hair and women stuff like that. 

 

In the past 14 days,Nairobi has hosted 2 fiery protests organized by disgruntled Nairobians to try and pressure the “Authorities” into taking some serious action as far as matters insecurity are concerned in this Country. But just like the lives of vulnerable Kenyans,the impact of those protests has quickly fizzled out. And the clamor died down almost as quickly as it started.

I am writing this to urge the much-vilified Internal Security Chief,Joseph Ole Lenku to TAKE NO ACTION on matters regarding insecurity. I mean,He has been in a full 2-Year slumber since his injudicious appointment,waking up right now is a waste of time. Enjoy the siesta,Bwana Ole Lenku. Coil Yourself up better…And pull the bed covers closer…DO NOT ACT. DO NOT FLINCH. We DESERVE insecurity.

I am also writing to urge the docile Inspector General of Police,Bwana David Kimaiyo to snore on. And on and on. Let no one wake You from Your catnap,Bwana Insecurity. Forget the little noises being made in the streets and the obstreperous gripes across Social Media. You were made to sit back,relax and watch the World burn. And Mkubwa,You are impeccable at Your job. Move Not. Flinch not. We DESERVE insecurity.

I am also writing to urge our publicity-hogging President,Uhuru Kenyatta to keep the rhetoric coming. And the PR blitzes rolling. Let nothing trouble You,Mr. President! Act Not! Move Not! And fret not. We are good. Infact,we’ve never been this good. Ignore the insecurity brouhaha going on allover…Forget the diabolic butchery of 28 Kenyans in Mandera last week. It should be the least of Your worries. You are perfect in showbiz. Stick to showmanship. We DESERVE insecurity.

Why do we deserve Insecurity?? Well,Here’s WHY.

The answer flatly lies in OUR STREET PROTESTS. Which,compared to the street protests of Real Countries,are just a bunch of shambolic kindergarten games.

SCENARIO NUMBER 1.

I am drawn to the Hong Kong protests that rolled out in September 22nd. For 2 straight Months now,Hong Kong has been ablaze. Millions of protesters poured in various Hong Kong hotspots including Admiralty, Central, Wan Chai,Causeway Bay and Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui to pressure the totalitarian Chinese Government into implement electoral reforms. And for 2 Months now,the good people of Hong Kong have REFUSED to bulge. Or leave the streets. they literally brought tents with them…And food and other basic amenities and,in one inflexible move,resolved NOT to vacate the streets. Come what may.

And even when faced with vicious Police brutality,social dangers,cold,unfavorable conditions and violent opposition form the State Machinery,Hong Kong’s Millions of exasperated protestors have settled on one resolution: WE AIN’T MOVIN’,Buggers!

SCENARIO NUMBER 2:

The Arab Spring. Starting early 2011,80% of the Arab World blew up. Millions of indignant Arabs poured into the respective streets of their Cities. Vehement and emphatic,they wouldn’t MOVE until whatever took them to the streets was achieved. And it didn’t matter what it was,It didn’t matter who was involved and also it didn’t matter what was at stake,When crowds of fed-up Arabs come together to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,Well,they mean it! Word for Word.

Resolute and relentless,the Arab protestors stayed in the streets. Camped in the streets…Ate,slept,bathed and lived in the streets…Until their objectives had been achieved. And their aspirations had been gratified.

Presidents were knocked off their high thrones,Dictators were sent packing and despots were hunted down like kafirs and executed in cold blood. Now,that’s the SPIRIT of people who are actually FED UP! People who actually DEMAND change. And people who’ve actually had enough!

SCENARIO NUMBER 3.

Burkina Faso. After febrile street protests that led to the crumbling of Former President Blaise Compaore’s administration,riled Burkinabe’s poured into the streets YET again for 2 days straight which led to the stepping down of corrupt Culture and Tourism Minister Adama Sagnon,a close confidant of Former President and also a central factor in Burkina Faso’s  disintegration,on Tuesday. The People of Burkina Faso NOT ONLY Protested until their oppressor fled the Seat Of Power,but also kept the tempo up until new appointees,who’ve NOT even served a week in Cabinet,stepped down! WOW!

But what happens here?? We rally each other on Social Media-Our forte,really-organize quick protests and,on the material day,show up late,stay for a couple hours,get hungry,complain of heat and tiredness and,even without an announcement,leave the scene of protests surreptitiously,crawl back to our comfortable homes and call it a day.

What nonsense! We DO NOT really protest…All we do is engage in cheap talk-shops,talk big and act small,show up for protests half-heartedly,sit through he protests passively,stay as far away from potential danger as possible…Or in the worst cases,simply stand by the road rails,watching the protestors walk by,talking photos and chatting up the next lazy slob next to us.

Excuse Me, Kenyans! Those ARE NOT the actions of people who are actually PISSED OFF! Those are the actions of idle kids seeking a thrill.

Just Yesterday,Boniface Mwangi and his namesake Bonny Khalwale led what was cleverly-dubbed “OCCUPY HARAMBEE HOUSE”. The protest was hurriedly organized…No communication was sent out,no lobbying went on,no publicity,Nothing. Just a bunch of disgruntled activists deciding to hit the streets on their own. They had vowed to storm Harambee House…And oversee the ouster of crappy Cabinet Secretary Ole Lenku. And also push for the immediate resignation of the IG,David Kimaiyo. But did it happen?? NO.

They came,they made teenage noises,ran around like a pack of freed slaves and,within an hour or two,retreated to much better businesses. NONSENSE!

Ole Lenku CAN NEVER be made to ACT by such kindergarten behavior. If that’s how we show our displeasure in the Government,then we are NOT angry enough. If that’s how we plan to send Ministers home,then we are a bunch of cheap comics.

And what happens when You actually lobby and rally Kenyans to show Up in massive numbers to actually call for the immediate resignation of a floundering Leader?? Nobody shows Up! We are too busy doing NOTHING. Too busy Facebooking…Tweeting…plus we are afraid of tear gas and police brutality and street chaos.

FINE,You DESERVE IT! You DESERVE the Insecurity and any other thing associated with it! People who have NO BALLS deserve NO PEACE!

Until we grow some balls,and actually pull off the stunts that real protesters from across the World have pulled,Until we camp in the streets for days…Months,Until we REFUSE to move or go home,Ole Lenku will never wake Up. Kimaiyo will never give a shit. And Uhuru will have more Abu Dhabi trips in his diary.

Thy know we are a bunch of lazy cowards. And they MUST be laughing at our crappy protests. Oh,and laughing at us too as we die like a pack of homeless dogs.

Keep Laughing at us,Honorable Leaders. WE DESERVE INSECURITY.

 

 

 

 

 

Yesterday, members of the civil society and other Kenyans took to the streets to protest the rising cases of insecurity in the country.

The march was named Occupy Harambee Avenue and this was their list of demands in regards to improved security:

1.    That the President fulfills every promise to the nation which he has given in the aftermath of the Westgate attack to institute a credible and comprehensive public inquiry into the failings of the security system. That inquiry must not, however be limited to terror attacks, but should investigate thoroughly the ability of the security apparatus and its servicemen to respond to all manifestations of insecurity including the resource conflicts in Northern Kenya, violent crime, growth of local militia and violence against women, etc.

2.   That the Government fully implements the National Police Service Act to create a unified police service as required by the Act, and that the amendments made in June 2013 are reviewed.  Further, that the Government implements the recommendations detailed in the report of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority’s report into the Mpeketoni attack.

3.   That all office holders are held accountable for delivery of their mandates. This includes the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government who should be relieved of his post.

4.   That the illegal deployment of the Kenya Defense Forces within Kenya without express authorization from Parliament cease immediately and any operations be stopped forthwith pending such authorization.

5.    That the Government respects the rights of all Kenyans as it is required to by the Constitution and provide an unambiguous undertaking that it recognizes the sanctity of such rights.

6.   All allegations of misconduct by security agents, for example as identified by the IPOA report into Operation Usalama Watch, are properly investigated and culprits punished.

Speaking after the protest, renowned activist Boniface Mwangi said “Thank you to everyone who turned up for Occupy Harambee Avenue. A successful protest is not measured by the number of people who show up or those that are violently dispersed by police, but those lone voices who are unafraid to take a stand.

 To the Kenyans who showed up, your cry for a safer Kenya was heard, loud and clear. This marks the beginning of the citizen accountability movement that will seek to hold its leaders accountable; Tumechoka!

 We are tired of the things that are going wrong but we shall never get tired (Hutatochoka) taking a stand. We shall use both street protests and legal channels to push for a better Kenya.  Aluta Continua”

Preparations for the burial of the remains of Homabay County Senator Otieno Kajwang’ are under way after he perished following what was said is a heart attack that suddenly killed him.

Yesterday a requiem mass for the late Senator was held in Nairobi Central SDA church and later his body taken to Uhuru park for public viewing.

Many spoke during the requiem mass but one person conspicuously missing in the mass was the woman who surfaced to claim she is Kajwang’s second wife.

And now the organisers of the whole programme have been accused of neglecting the woman and her children who claim Kajwang is their father.

The woman and some of her children caused mayhem at the Lee funeral home when a post-mortem was being conducted on Kajwang and demanded that they be allowed in because they were part of Kajwang’s family.

Among those accusing the organisers and family of the late Senator is Esther Passaris, who feels disgusted by the fact that Kajwang’s second wife is not recognised and accepted in the family.

This is what Passaris said:

“Though saddened by the loss of #RIPKajwang I felt more saddened by the isolation of his 2nd wife & children as they mourn their father.”

 

It is a habit that has continued to crop among some perverted individuals who, despite calls from all quarters to refrain from stripping women, have continued to embarrass ladies in public by stripping and harassing them.

It started with the Embassava stage saga, then there came the Mombasa one. As if that was not enough, another woman was beaten, stripped and injured in Kayole by touts and idlers. And now there is the latest which is even worse.

The president urged Kenyans to be each others’ keeper and refrain from such heinous acts.

The viral video elicited hell of condemnation from various quarters, parents felt jitters watching the video. Lillian Muli being a parent, she had a difficult time imagining how an adult with her senses could commit such barbaric act on an innocent child.

Talking to team Ghafla!, Lillian revealed she kept on telling herself the video wasn’t true, she said the incident left her with many questions. “I can’t find the appropriate words to even describe it, this is just so EVIL!” Lillian explained. Former radio presenter Ciku Muiruri has expressed her frustrations on the like of Robert Alai who were whining about the president enjoying a nice time in Abu Dhabi while Kenyans were being slaughtered.

Robert Alai opened Pandora’s Box when he went harm on the commander in chief claiming he was enjoying himself in United Arabs Emirates (U.A.E) watching Formula 1 while Mandera massacre was taking place.

Alai’s revelation ignited a fierce debate with the president’s critics claiming he overlooked his responsibility to go pleasure himself in the Middle East. Amid all the wrath that were thrown to the Uhuru, Ciku Muiruri came to the defense of the commander in chief.

Ciku took issues with the president’s critics highlighting hypocrisy in their claims, she couldn’t understand why the critics took issue with president attending the Formula one race yet he was in Abu Dhabi for official visit and all the other leaders who were there attended the event. (They were invited by the leader of U.A.E)
