To start with, even if you stay with a lady for a decade and you have no certificate to show the state recognizes the two of you as husband and wife, then you are still considered single. Just like an intern will never be considered as an employee, it’s that simple!

Now that we are reading from the same page, we (as in Ghafla!) sampled seven celebrities for this article. They have all sired kids out of wedlock, you will be surprised to see some faces you didn’t expect, that am sure of.

                                                     Juliani

Gospel rapper, Juliani, will be opening this list for us! Oops! He too wasn’t spared by the list! Juliani started the year on a good note, he was blessed with a kid on the every first month.

Just a minute, I hope all of you know Juliani and Brenda Wairimu aren’t married? They may be living together but that are NOT man and wife, not yet.

The two celebrity lovers have a baby together. There you go, Juliani fathered a child out of wedlock…

 

                                                                                     Rabbit

The next victim is Rabbit aka Kaka Sungura alias King Kaka blur blur blur… This one is not even married and he has two kids.

Rabbit seldom sings praise of the child he fathered with fellow musician, Sage. Is King Kaka a dead beat dad? Which grave is Jackson Njeru buried in? He could have given us something to quench our curiosity. But the other girl, wow! He always goes into rapture about her, the social media can confirm this.

The rapper’s social media handles are awash with photos of his daughter, he is always keen to say a thing or two about her.

 

                                                                                           Dennis Okari

Now now! The next person is a ‘heavyweight’ but since he also fathered a child out of wedlock, I have the audacity to air his dirty linen in public.

Yes, Dennis Okari and Betty Kyallo aren’t married, for those one of you who didn’t know! I remember someday Ghafla! slipped and wrote “Betty Kyallo’s Husband, Dennis Okari…” and the KTN news anchor rolled her eyes in exasperation. “Did you see a ring on my finger?” She inbox Ghafla!

Dennis and Betty have a 10 month old cute daughter that they got out of wedlock. Even more buffing, the two are staunch Christians. Did they bend Holly Book’s laws on marriage!

                                                                                       Jalang’o

Jalas too has a daughter! The 32 year old comedian-cum-presenter is a senior bachelor. He has everything with exception of a pretty lady to call a ‘wife’.

Jalang’o is very proud of her baby girl, he occasionally spends time with her. And whenever he does, he makes sure the internet is updated as well.

That doesn’t sanctify him though, it doesn’t change the fact that he got a child before he settled down. He is seeing someone, in case you were puzzled!

 

                                                                               Octopizzo

Kibera’s finest is the other chap who tasted his sexual potency before he walked down the aisle. The rapper got his first born daughter, Tracy, prior to marrying his Mzungu wife.

Just to be clear, Octo cares a lot about his two daughters. He selfishly protects them from ANYTHING!

 

                                                                            Shaffie Weru

This is also another complicated case. Too MANY rumors have been said about Shaffie and his relationships.

Was he married to both Debbie Asila and Joan Mwihaki? At least with Joan he confirmed they had a Muslim wedding.

Since he never tied the knot with Debbie, then I can say without fear or favor that Shaffie got her daughter, Milan, out of wedlock.

Last but not least is Kazungu Matano or better known Otoyo Sibuor. He got KTN Swahili news anchor, Mashirima Kapombe, pregnant.

Mashirima has since delivered; where does that live Otosh? Yes, fill the gap…

Mwanahamisi Hamadi’s young daughter just turned 5 and her mother certainly had something special for her little one.

She took to social media and posted this poignant message :

30th April itasalia siku ya kipekee katika maisha yangu. Siku kama hii uchungu wa uzazi uliniletea tabasamu ambalo daima nitalienzi. Ni kama jana tu nilipokuwa nikikufunza kuongea na kutembea huku kila hatua uliyopiga ikiniliwaza.

Machakos County Governor and former government spokesman Dr. Alfred Mutua is lately reveling in a lot of pleasure after all good things came his way.

It was just the other day when a survey by Infrotrak ranked as the most performing Governor out of the 47 in the country, putting his county top in almost every category in the survey.

The poll portrayed the governor in all the good ways earning him credits from all corners of the republic.

Away from that, Mutua has been receiving visitors lately especially from the showbiz industry.

Kaka Sungura paid him a courtesy visit the other day and presented his album to the governor. And after that, it is now Eric Omondi’s turn to visit the governor.

Dr. Mutua has posted photos of his meeting with the comedian and says that Eric paid him a courtesy call at his Machakos offices.

But what is it with celebrities hanging out with the governor? This is a question we keep asking ourselves at the moment.

Andrew Kabogo recently showed off his 1.7 Million Kshs WATCH from is a luxurious line of Swiss watches Audemars Piguet. In addition, he parties at the famous Armani club in Dubai and hangs out with dime pieces such as this beautiful Arabian babe.

 Kenyan TV anchors, especially the female ones are never short of a hot story. Their impeccable TV hosting skills are mostly usually shadowed by their little shenanigans that more often than not find their way into the blog corridors. And boy, are they usually tantalizing.

Now, last weekend, a little bird tells Ghafla, a popular Female TV anchor was busted in the washrooms of a glitzy Hotel in Hurlingham getting real cosy with another female who by the way has also hosted TV once in Kenya, in a show that used to be watched all over the country before it was abruptly axed.

The TV anchor, who has recently hit the headlines over yet another controversy, has always been rumored to be lesbian. Or at least Bi-sexual.

And last weekend, all that was confirmed by a stunned hotel floor cleaner who while making her way into the sanitation room to spray some Airwick busted these two amorous TV birds getting real toasty with it.

According to the cleaner who declined to be named or associated in ANY way with this building controversy, the TV star was in the hotel for a media invite/event which to now we’ve been unable to tell what it was all about…Ghafla! wasn’t present.

The TV anchor who arrived in the company of a tall, light skinned guy would hours later be found in the very touchy arms of her female lover. And get this, they were both in THE SAME toilet. it was closed from inside.

Our efforts to try and get a civil response from the TV anchor were met with rudeness and an absolute lack of cooperation.

The TV anchor who presents her news in impeccable English and who loves hosting controversial guests on her heated TV sit-downs arrived in a red and black flowing gown, a full fresh wig and black sparkly stilettos. It is also said that she was tipsy!

After they were busted in the ‘Ladies’ getting all naughty, touchy and generous, the cleaner raised the alarm and the Hotel’s Management came and arrested the situation before it got of control before the ever-pesky cameras started rolling.

The TV anchor has been frantically calling Ghafla! all afternoon asking us to NOT publish the story as it would according to her, “forever damage my reputation…” Heck, she has even been offering to pay us. When we didn’t bulge to her persuasions, she threatened to slap us with legal action, ati libel!

Well, since we do NOT have photos to prove her actions-although we do have recorded conversations between ourselves and the Hotel employee, we decided to still go ahead with the story. But hide her identity.

Damn! How I wish we could reveal it! Arrrrrrgh!

But you are free to guess who she is…And, ummm, she’s really popular. But her lover? Not so popular.

 

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs a.k.a P Diddy has always had a soft spot for Kenyans.

During his 2014 Howard University Commencement Speech the industry heavyweight, recognized Kenyan runners and the fact that they are beasts on the track.

Today P Diddy who has more than 4 Million Instagram Followers had Kenyans super excited after he posted this:

 

It was October last year when news reached us that the queen of all socialites in Kenya was spending colossal sums of money in one of the most posh and prestigious cities in the world; Dubai.

Vera Sidika, who is known to get whatever she wants at whatever cost, was spending her time in one of the most expensive, arguably the most expensive, hotel in the world; The Burji Al Arab.

Many got astonished at the extravagance the socialite was exhibiting then. She strongly came out and denied the story, terming it false and construed to taint her name.

I wrote an article bashing Vera for spending such sums of money when there was a lot she could do with it. Many agreed with me while others told me off, saying it was her money, something I agreed with even before I wrote this article.

I was only giving an honest opinion which I told was everybody’s opinion considering Kenyans are known to love money a lot and would want to see money spent wisely.

Jomino made a return last week after a hiatus in the us where credible information reveal that he was studying production. His Record label had remained locked for the duration that he was away. Jomino (ofcourse has since then re opened) The genius concocted a comeback like no other promising quality music, professionalism and entertainment- The three aspects that make good music. 

 Steve sought to get music that the Kenyans yearned for but had no access to, with that in mind, he signed up Twenty two, an artist who had been doing music since 2005 but still remained in the shadows. The video talks about getting someone you thought you would never have, dating person of your dreams. The video focuses on a surreal environment to create an illusion of a dream focused on Twenty 2 and the woman he never thought he’d date.

The comely Citizen anchor walked out of her relationship because she couldn’t stomach being assaulted by the man that claimed to love her.

She looks so harmless you can’t even imagine someone once turned her into a punching bag. Anne Kiguta’s boyfriend was a batterer who used to exercise his brutality on her fragile body.

The year was 2013, she confided in True Love about her tribulations. Anne revealed her man rain blows on her the very day she was to make a debut on KTN.

Despite the dent on her face, she managed to secure a job with the station thanks to makeup and her impressive aptitude.

Even after she landed the KTN job, the man continued pounding her. She tried to swallow the suffering for the sake of her 3 year old baby that she had with her abusive boyfriend.

Anne finally walked out of the relationship when she realized the knucklehead wasn’t going to stop torturing her.

Judge Ian Mbugua is a popular name in the Kenyan entertainment industry today, and this has seen him land different deals for entertainment purposes.

The latest he is involved in is Citizen TV’s Fashion Watch show hosted by Lilian Muli.

The Fashion Watch show looks at the latest fashion, how different people are dressed and this is where judge Ian and his colleagues come in to either criticize or complement different modes of dressing.

However, a photo has emerged of judge Ian which has greatly left Kenyans wondering why Judge Ian and his colleagues like Annabel Onyango are criticizing other people’s style of dressing.

The photo is already doing round the social media and many who have come across it have criticized judge Ian for his choice of clad.

Traditional media outlets radio and TV be warned, blogs are slowly taking over. This is the message popular blogger Magunga Williams, creative writer and proprietor of the Real G Inc the blog wished to dispense in a recent interview. (Vote for him in the upcoming BAKE Awards by the way)

Is there a reason for these outlets to fidget even after such declarations? I believe so as the internet is slowly taking over and I say this confidence backing it up by a recent report by Google which claimed more people were spending their time online instead of watching TV.

Bearing this in mind, what does it spell for advertisers and co-operates in general? Probably a new market for their products and Airtel is among the first pioneers to start tapping into this new field. All this is backed up by the fact that it believes in recognizing and empowering the potential of the youth.

Kenyan bloggers for example have the power to change lives through different areas of blogging and social media which has in turn contributed to enhancing knowledge and innovation in Kenya.

Kakamega senator Dr. Boni Khalwale is famously known for his outspoken nature coupled with his love and admiration for bull fighting, a sport he has for a long time been associated with.

The Senator has never shied away from speaking his mind, telling off anyone he thinks he/she is going contrary to what he believes in and values. This explains why Boni has always courted controversy in the face of his opponents.

And now the senator is at it again, locking horns with celebrated lawyer Ahamednasri Abdullahi.

The two have littered twitter with abuses and bashes, calling each other names that do not befit their statuses.

It all started when a local daily ran a story of how Khalwale blamed some legislators of perpetrating terrorism in the country, something that literally angered Abdullahi who chose to respond to Khalwale.

They shine on our screens whenever they appear to feed us with information we need to quench our curiosity, but just how much do you know about their private lives?

While some news anchors prefer to seal off their private lives from any Tom, Dick and Harry, others are philanthropic to share details of what they do when they are off cameras. They don’t mind giving the public a glimpse of their lives that’s why they can afford to share photos of their children on social networking sites.

There are a number of female news anchors who have pretty children, we only illuminated six though. It’s not as if we are discriminating or something, just that the six are haven’t hide their kids from public eye.

KTN news anchor, Joy Doreen Mbiira opens the list, she recently gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, In December last year to be precise.

From the moment she got pregnant to when she delivered, the Ugandan national wasn’t shy to share details of her condition. She even posted a photo of her cute boy few hours after welcoming him to this world.

Another KTN anchor who has a pretty child is Betty Kyallo, the proudest mom on TV. Perhaps she likes flaunting her lovely daughter because she is a spitting image of herself.

Betty has been updating her fans on the kid’s development, she recently turned 10 months and the messages her mother got on her handle were massive. What will happen when she clocks a year? The kid is already a celebrity!

Terryanne Chebet has an adorable girl who goes by the name Imani, she is 9 years old. The mother went into raptures about her during her birthday some two weeks ago. The Citizen TV anchor spent a week just talking about Imani on social media.

Another proud celebrity mom is Citizen TV’s senior political reporter, Jacque Maribe. I have to admit she took many by surprise when she revealed she had an 11 month old son.

We didn’t get a chance of seeing the face of Jacque’s son so we can’t tell if he took after her mom’s look. All in all, Jacque gave the public a glimpse of her son.

Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan is the other news anchor that has adorable kids. Yes, she has two boys if you didn’t know.

Comparing and contrasting the two boys, I have to say the older one is the one that resembles her mom, Lulu’s smile can conspicuously be seen on the boy’s face.

Last but not least is Julie Gichuru, one of the most celebrated media personalities Africa can boast of.

The gorgeous Citizen TV anchor as four kids, three boys and a girl. Given that the husband is slightly dark in complexion, I can confidently say all the kids took after Julie. Of cause they are all pretty!

Janet Mbugua first came into the limelight fully when Citizen TV managed to poach her from South Africa, with rumours circulating that she was given a hefty package at RMS, surpassing everyone in her category.

Well, Janet has since proved herself a siren to reckon with, her appearance on TV giving Citizen TV an edge over the rest.

The talented anchor has once again landed some job in West Africa.

However, this does mean that Janet is leaving Citizen TV. No.

Through her social media account, the presenter has revealed that she is in the process of shooting some promos for a TV series called Rush TV series, a series that will run in West Africa.
