Shark Tank millionaire, Daymond John, ‘caught hormones’ and decided to fire back after a typical Kenyan lambasted him and President Obama online.

The genesis of Daymond-Kwanini Lakini’s (the Kenyan who chastised him, obviously not his real name ) brawl was the speech President Obama made when he visited Kenya.

The US President’s speech which touched on women and girl-child empowerment rubbed Kwanini Lakini the wrong way.

The ninja thinks Obama was dictating to Kenya and Africa on how and what they ought to do things, which according to him was a spit on the faces of Kenyans.

“You guys went to Kenya/Africa ‘to supposedly attract investors’? How is that done by throwing dirt at our people?. You guys think Africans are not/Have not been addressing this issues?” Kwanini furiously wrote.

He accused Daymond and Obama of sidestepping the real issue that made them come to Kenya and instead opting to propagate ‘nonsense’ idea that Africa was lagging behind because of its old traditions.

Of course Daymond didn’t go down without throwing fists around, he accused Kwanini of being myopic with a passion for talking about thinks with limited information.

He warned him such kind of negative energy would scare away potential investors from injecting their money into the country’s economy.

“Your salty comments would scare people and make them take their money to some place that doesn’t have people like you talking crap when we are working hard to incest with the amazing talent of your country.” Daymond responed to Kwanini.

The FUBU CEO however confirmed Kwanini’s blunt criticism didn’t change his love for Kenya and its people.

“I will not allow you to tint the way I feel about such an amazing place.” Daymond concluded his rant.

 

Isaac Mutisya has not been at peace for close to four months, this is because his daughter Risper disappeared without a trace during the university in Garissa.

4 months on after the appalling attack that claimed the lives 148 people , his daughter’s body has not been found and he is looking for all means possible to find his missing child.

Mr Mutisya says that his nightmare began when he went to Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi where victims of the atrocious attack has been admitted, but he did not find his beloved daughter.

When he didn’t find her there, he was forced to stopover at Chiromo Mortuary to look for Risper, something he describes as traumatizing since he had to sift through 119 bodies. After a week there, the search yielded no results.

The next step he had to take was reporting the issue police station in Garissa and that too yielded no results.

But he has not given up the search for his daughter as he says that “When I sleep, I see her coming towards me, sometimes she extends her hands towards me, but when I reach out she disappears – these dreams haunt me a lot.” adding that “This will continue until I know the whereabouts of my daughter.

The government has unfortunately not been of much help according to Mutisya who said that “Very little is being done to help me get her back – dead or alive.”

News just in on social media indicates that at least 9 vehicles have been involved in a road accident along Mbagathi dual carriageway.

Nairobians are busy speculating about what seems to be the root cause of the epic road accident that has brought traffic along Mbagathi way a standstill.

Photos of the accident started sipping in approximately an hour ago and what they depicted left many scratching their heads.

Cars plunging into other cars is what characterized most photos doing rounds online, lorries too were also involved in the accident.

Pastor James Ng’ang’a Maina of Neno Evangelism church is still looking for a place to hide his head after he courted controversy once again when he was accused of killing a woman as he allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol.

The allegations leveled against the man of the cloth have greatly cast him in a bad way, with some people like businessman Paul Kobia threatening to burn down his church come Sunday.

When the reports of the accident near Limuru first emerged, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinet came out to defend the pastor, saying that it was not him who was involved in the accident.

This was contrary to the accounts given by eye witnesses who said it was Pastor Ng’ang’a who was driving the Range Rover that caused the accident.

The pastor has since denied being in the car that killed a woman and left her husband badly injured. He said the range rover does not belong to him.

And now IG Boinet has come out to say that the police officers who handled the accident should be investigated to establish if indeed they tried to cover up for the controversial preacher.

Boinet said yesterday that his team is investigating the matter and the officers are likely to be charged and sacked in case they are found to have tried to cover up for pastor Ng’ang’a.

This comes after public outcry intensified as families of the victims seek justice for the ordeal that befell them.

The public has openly criticized the responsible authorities for trying to cover up for the pastor despite even the driver of the car who survived the ordeal saying that it was pastor Nga’ng’a who was driving the Range Rover during the accident.

Today morning, we woke up to the tragic news that J Blessing and his lovely wife Chantelle of the ‘Toklezea’ fame had lost their first born son, Kyle.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta, mother to President Uhuru Kenyatta and wife to the first president of Kenya, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, will be awarded with a honorary doctorate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology later today.

JKUAT will hold a graduation ceremony today.

The Vice Chancellor of JKUAT is expected to present Mama Ngina for the conferment of the Degree of Doctor of Science in Entrepreneurship ( Honoris Causa) of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta has been here ever since her husband passed away in 1978, and is said to be in the forefront in matters entrepreneurship.

The University is named after her late husband and father to the current Kenyan leader.

Kenyans have aired mixed reactions over the same. While some believe she deserves the degree, others argue that such degrees should be awarded to people who have excelled academically and not just anyone.

All in all, her degree is already in place.

Celebrated international Kenyan actress Lupita Nyongo is once again expected to hit global news when she will be taking to stage in a debut appearance at New York later this year where she will star in a play set amid the horrors of the Liberian civil war.

Forget her out-of-this-world performance in the film 12 Years A Slave, Lupita is set for stardom once again as the public theatre in Manhattan announced that the daughter to Senator Anyang Nyong’o will be appearing as from September 29 to November 8.

“Exciting news: I am getting back to the STAGE! This Fall, catch me at The Public Theater for my New York debut in Danai Gurira’s play, ECLIPSED, directed by Liesl Tommy. SEPT 29TH to NOV 8^TH,” Lupita announced.

 

Nyong’o, 32, will play “The Girl” in what the theatre called “a powerful story of survival and resilience” about women finding and testing their own strength in a hostile world, Daily Nation reports.

The play involves captive wives of a rebel officer bonding together to form a community before their lives are interrupted by the arrival of a new girl.

The play was written by Zimbabwean-American actress Danai Gurira.

Popular for his wowing flowery coastal Swahili and irresistible charisma, Abuller Ahmed who lost fishily to Michelle Ngele in the just concluded The Presenter finally joins KTN.

In an exclusive interview with Ghafla, Abuller who once interned with Citizen TV and one time KBC Channel One sports analyst revealed that he is reporting to his new employer on Monday, 3 as a sports reporter.

Yesterday, the retired soldier breathed a sigh of relief after the Court of Appeal temporarily suspended earlier decision ordering Philip to pay Pluda Kes 30 million.

The court halted the execution of the previous judgment until the appeal made by the ‘broke’ son of the retired President is heard and determined.

But Philip will still continue paying his ex-sweetheart a monthly upkeep of Kes Sh150,000. The court doesn’t give a damn about his ‘broke’ status!

So none of them got a chance and… 200k had to be coughed out of their pockets.
