Ciku Muiruri’s show ‘Busted’ aims at catching errant lovers and the drama that ensues is certainly something to write home about. Yesterday’s episode was no laughing matter as Ciku bit more than she could chew after busting a ‘devil worshipper’.

Kenyan Hip hop rapper Cannibal has been silent for quite some time now and many thought that he had hanged his mic, turns out we were wrong. Cannibal has something up his sleeves.

The rapper will make his Middle East debut in Dubai, UAE on Friday 8th November, 2013. The singer is scheduled to perform at RockCity Club – Howard Johnson Hotel in Bur Dubai. The doors will open from 8pm onwards and the entrance fee is AED 85. This event is strictly for 21+

Cannibal started music in 1993 and went professional in 1999. He has done three collaboration albums and is working on a 4th album which is a solo project. Most famous for his hit songs Street Hustler, Kichwa Kibov ft Sharama, My City My Town ft PREZZO and My Reason ft Habida among other well-known tracks.

He has worked with different producers from Kenya and other parts of the world including the South Africa,U.S.A, Germany, Eric Musyoka (Decimal Recording), Kevin provoke(AWESOME MUSIC GROUP), R Kay, Mandugu Digital, Headbangers.

Candy n Candy Records is going HAM. Hot on the heels of a new music video featuring its latest Tanzanian artist ‘signee’, Baby Madaha, the record label is on the precipice of dropping a new Swahili movie featuring the sexy actress and singer.

Dubbed “The Gal Bladder”, the movie is currently under way and may be out in the next few days. “The Gal Bladder” follows a unique storyline with unmatched drama. Baby Madaha plays a villain lady whose remorseless nature makes her feared and hatred in equal measure.

DJ Creme launched a clothing line called Epic nation and since then, hasn’t looked back. He together with his partners have been on the grind trying to ensure that it goes way beyond Kenya’s borders as a bonafide must have street apparel clothing line.

And to that end, he has been representing it everywhere he goes and that strategy seems to be working. He has been on some of Africa’s biggest stages performing at the biggest gigs and he has always represented.

Earlier in the year, while shooting his video to the track “Kipepeo”, Jaguar brought out his plane and alot of people were talking from the sides of their necks about how he was fronting with someone else’s property and blah blah blah.

I personally don’t go in for such nonsense and I do not count the money in the next man’s pocket. and that is the principle I learned about being a man among others of course.

ICC judges in a majority ruling have rejected Radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang’s application for excusal to attend graduation for his 6-year-old daughter Friday.

“While it´s of importance to him and his family, the chamber cannot judge the graduation of Joshua Sang’s daughter exceptional”, ruled one of the judges.

Through lawyer Katwa Kigen, Sang requested Trial Chamber V(a) on Wednesday to excuse him from being psychically present at the court on Friday so that he can travel back home and be with his daughter.

Kigen explained that Sang had promised his daughter that he would attend her graduation and a denial of this request would affect him and his daughter psychologically.

“He had assured his daughter that he would attend that graduation and is afraid that if he doesn’t attend the girl will not understand why he did not attend because the girl is not able to understand the ICC proceedings,” argued Kigen.

He also promised that Sang will not give himself an extra day off after November 1 if the judges granted him his desire.

But that was never to be.

The man who brought you one of Kenya’s biggest superstars wants to introduce you to the next big Kenyan superstar and my advice to you would be for you to sit up and take notice. And the man of whom I speak is none other than J. Blessing. So forget TPF, let us pay attention to a tried and tested individual.

And J. Blessing wants to introduce all and sundry to a young lad by the name Vemba. And the lad has quite the vocal chords on his person! This boy can sing!

The track is titled “Mimi Nani” and features another talented lad called Humphrey and the audio was produced by Bizzi B. The track is a gospel song in which Vemba seeks to understand his place in all the madness that make up the world.

The video was produced by J. Blessing and is set in a slum which gives it a very gritty feel which loans itself to the video adding to the authenticity.

About 12 lives were lost and scores injured when Dandora-bound train collided with a bus at a level-crossing at the Mutindwa stage in Nairobi’s Buruburu area yesterday morning.

Eyewitnesses and victims revealed that the train smashed into in to the bus that was heading to the city centre from Umoja.It was a double tragedy as a private saloon car was hit in the process injuring the passengers.

Among those who died in the train-bus collision was a former employee of Calif records.The recording company posted this on their page:

Earlier this week, Epic Nation’s DJ Crème announced that his six months old son, Jamari, would be undergoing a surgery. Many people, friends and fans in particular, were astounded by the news and wished his son nothing but the best as they kept him in prayer.

Auspiciously, Crème’s baby underwent the infant hernia surgical procedure last evening at The Gertrude’s Children Hospital and the doctors’ report was positive. The little boy has been upbeat after the surgery at least according to these photos;

If you are at work as you read this, I assume you are not a farmer. However, that should be stereotypical because most farmers earn more than you do by getting their hands quite literally. But most graduates shun farming as they opt for white collar jobs…but Juliani is not.

The Farming is Cool concert tour, led by sensational rapper, Juliani, in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), Amiran Kenya, Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) and the Nation Media Group recently carried out a three day educative tour on agribusiness around Eldoret town.

With a the series of activities carried out around Eldoret, Juliani together with Amiran Kenya and the KRCS visited education institutions such as the Race Coarse Primary school and Chepkoilel University, interacting with students on how they can create wealth through modern farming techniques.

Backed up with knowledge he has gained from his agribusiness training plus the partners support, Juliani is ready to take up more tours with his next stop being the Machakos County on the 17^th of November 2013.

He strongly believes that the young people of Kenya have all it takes to come out of poverty and hunger but only if the knowledge is made assessable and they have positive role models.

With the Kenyan Defence Forces still in Somali, maybe they should forget about flare guns and fire hoses as the the real way to ward off Somali pirates out at sea has been unearthed! The secret? Hit them hard with a blast of Britney Spears!

According to Naval officer Rachel Owens who spoke to Metro, “Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most. These guys can’t stand western culture or music, making Britney’s hits perfect. As soon as the pirates get a blast of Britney, they move on as quickly as they can.”

The reports add that Britney’s hits, including Oops! I Did It Again and Baby One More Time, are being employed by British naval officers in an attempt to scare off pirates along the East coast of Africa, reports Guardian.

The US police and military were the first to adopt this tactic to stop ocean rioters. The practice worked so well, now cruise ships and navy vessels are also cranking out the hits.

Well, maybe Britney needs to keep the hits coming! The more she sings the further away the pirates are pushed.
