15 Photos Of Sonko Packing His Belongings And Leaving His KICC Office After Stepping Aside. Oh! He Was Also Spotted Walking Aimlessly On The Streets Of Nairobi
The President’s war on graft has seen movers and shakers round the government circle vacating their offices to pave way for investigations. Flamboyant Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, was among the unlucky casualties that stepped aside after Unye sharpened his knife on corruption.
The one man who has always been on the forefront championing for the rights of common raia has been implicated in a corrupt deal that has saw him step aside.
Sonko is literally jobless after Anti-graft body linked him to 1.3 billion shillings scandal involving Kenya Pipeline Company procurement deal. The philanthropic legislator is alleged to have colluded with Energy CS, Davis Chirchir, to siphon the billions.
Yesterday, Sonko packed his few belongings and left his KICC office; he strolled down the streets of Nairobi causing a stir as curious Nairobians struggled to catch a glimpse of their Senator.
