One Kenyan teen stood out on Forbes 30 under 30 list for his amazing project that saw him listed among young game changers from the world over.

Tom Osborn, a 19-year-old Kenyan made it to 30 under 30 Forbes list due to his innovativeness in developing a clean energy from charcoal.

Tom’s company, GreenChar, makes charcoal briquettes from recycled sugarcane waste which lasts longer and burn more cleanly than regular wood charcoal.

Tom Osborn saw a huge problem regarding bad fumes that arose by cooking. When he started his company as a school project, Tom didn’t know it would develop to a big company that would cut a niche on the market.

Tom has been ranked at position twenty seven on Forbes list among other young movers and makers from across the world.
