For the first time Insyder chat awards happened on a Thursday and with less hype than what we are usually accustomed to. The award
ceremony is currently going on at a fully packed Nyayo national stadium gymnasium.

It seems that this year’s award was invites only because there were no tickets on sale to our knowledge.
Already KTN music program Srt8 up which is hosted by DJ Kaytrixx has bagged the best entertainment TV show, while Ian Mugoya has been crowned the new teeniez hunk celeb.
The best TV drama is Machachari, while Baha takes the best actor. Kaytrixx is the biggest winner bagging the best DJ and VJ awards.
As Ghafla had predicted, Avril is the best female artiste in this year’s Chat awards. The best teeniez song and video is non other than P-Unit feat Sauti Sol, ‘Gentleman’, while Juliani was shocked when Ekodydda bagged teeniez best gospel song.
Teeniez best hit maker is Calif records producer Clemo while the best radio show is Kiss 100 evening show, Rush hour which is hosted by Shaffie and Kalekye Mumo. Camp Mulla fans should be rejoicing after the hip hop crew won the best group award.
