It seems celebrities, more than ever, are now determined to go out of their way to prove their innocence whenever an allegation against them pops up. Yesterday, we saw video vixen Vera Sidika make public her HIV status by uploading her blood test results online!

And now, yet another celeb has done something out of the usual to clear their name. Few hours ago, Noti Flow uploaded a photo of herself kissing an unknown guy and captioned it, “Am not a ‘le’”.

The 19 year old artist, a band member in Chapter 3, has had rumours hot on her heels for a long time now claiming she’s a lesbian.

Caroline Mutoko Celebrates The Westgate Heroes!

All week long, Caroline Mutoko has been celebrating the heroes that emerged at one of Kenya’s darkest hours and today i was impressed by her celebration of a hero who probably doesn’t consider himself a hero. A waiter at Arte cafe who rather than hog the limelight remained in obscurity.

She shared a touching story about how the unknown waiter led some of the patrons who were enjoying their brunch at Arte Cafe (30 in number) to safety after the terrorists had attacked and lobbed grenades at Arte Cafe.

Read the story below:

  Caroline Mutoko
HEROES AT WESTGATE – THE UNKNOWN WAITER FROM ARTCAFE.

Faiza Hersi sends this story:

I was at the art cafe balcony and no one really heard our story.
We were shot at for several minutes before the gunmen entered the mall.
I recall one person was shot and injured and one elderly man died of a heart attack. We were shown an exit through the balcony of the art cafe by one very brave art cafe waiter.

I never got his name but as soon as he heard shots being fired inside the building, he led about 30 of us on the balcony to safety. When we escaped, (appr. 30 mins after the first shots at us were fired), we ran up the ‘puppy road’ (this is where those guys are always selling puppies) towards kenya power where a friend lived, and thats when we started to see the authorities coming.

Celebrate this hero from Artcafe. He saved many lives.

Kenyan Artists Cautioned Against Doing Songs on Westgate Attack

In the spirit of mourning our dear departed friends, relatives and soldiers in the unfortunate Westgate terrorist attack, Kenyan artists have been admonished not to record songs on the incident.

Reading the riot act, Kenyan DJ and hip-hop rapper, K-Nel has cautioned fellow artists not to hit the studio to do any project about the Westgate attack.

“Warning To Kenyan Artists; don’t step in Studios and start making “pathetic” #westgate songs in the name of “MOURNING”. I speak ma mind out freely!! We have the BIBLE. That’s the only scripture we need right now!!!! The Devil is a true liar but he will not conquer! #illuminated”, declared the accomplished artist

He added, “I repeat: all that we need is God and the Bible. If we need a song, we will all stand and SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.”

Amani Reveals What She Looks For In Her Man!

Amani has been in the Kenyan entertainment industry for more than a few minutes and has somehow managed to remain relevant going as far as participating in an international collaboration for an Airtel ad that featured R. Kelly, Fally Ipupa, 2 Face Idibia and a host of other great African acts.

and even with such accolades under her belt, not much is none about her personal life more so her love life.

The lass has managed to keep that particular facet of her life private. But she recently opened up to Pulse by telling them what she looks for in a man. And in as much as it was an aesthetic quality that she spoke of, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to see how it would link back to character.

Amina looks for manly men. She doesn’t want any pretty boys around her. So if you know you’re that Drake type of lad, back-back! “Amani hapana tambua wewe!”

Rapdamu Finally Speaks Out About His Alleged Beef With Kenrazy!

About a month ago,Kenrazy one of Kenya’s best rappers came out guns blazing accusing his friend turned foe Rapdamu of the downward spiral of his career. You know Rapdamu from songs such as Siunajua,Sway and Hey Mama.

Rapdamu was accused of being a terrible manager and luring famous artistes into his lair by promising them a flourishing music career then using them as producers. These accusations by Kenrazy sent the rumor mill on overdrive and soon word on the street was that the two rappers were locking horns.

After deathly silence, the controversial rapper come out to dispel the rumors and clear his name saying “Claims that I am a bad manager are outrageous, for starters,I do not manage artistes and my sole role was to produce their music.”

On the back-fence talk  that he and Kenrazy were feuding, he quickly denied these claims adding that that the fallacious claims by his haters would not deter him from producing great music

Sexy Tanzanian Actress Turned Singer Already Causing Ripples (Photos)

Signing for Kenya’s newest and chicest production house, Candy n Candy, seems to have been the best choice thatsexy and multi-talented actress turned singer, Baby Madaha. After putting ink to paper on a 50 million Tanzanian shillings two year-contract with the leading record label, she was accorded a fully-serviced apartment in Nairobi.

Shortly after Candy n Candy released her debut single, “Summer Time”, which the label’s head honcho, Joe Kariuki, reveals is doing very well in Tanzania. In fact, the hit single is commanding Clouds FM’s charts and is second on both East Africa Radio and TV.

Last week, Baby Madaha was on a promotional tour in her home country where she visited different places and the reception was overwhelmingly wholehearted. Here are some images;

Bad Boy Prezzo Vehemently Denies Claims That He Is Running Away From The Police!

Last Saturday morning before the Westgate attack that claimed a lot of lives,it was alleged that CMB Prezzo was a man on the run,a fugitive.

It was asserted  that the rapper had assaulted a Swiss army officer with a gun and the gunfight could have gotten very ugly had his bodyguards not restrained him.

They say that there are two sides to every story and Prezzo came out to refute claims that there was a gun involved.Speaking to Nation via phone, the rapper said as he tried to drive out of the parking lot, a white guy hurled racial slurs at him calling him a blonde monkey. This infuriated the rapper so much that he punched the guy adding that he reacted that way because”You can insult me the way you want, but when it comes to race, I cannot take the matter lightly.

He then dismissed reports that he was an outlaw saying:

“Rumor has it tht iam in trouble & running frm the law. This are nothing but rumours, iam a free law abiding citizen mourning my country.”

Huddah Monroe Building A House For Her Mother (PHOTO GALLERY)

Huddah is more often than not on the receiving end of public sentiment which is more often than not venomous. She is an outspoken lady not shy to talk about her sexuality and her body and this goes against “African norms”.
That hogwash is the excuse most people give for talking smack about her but get this…

While you and your mother are busy talking smack about her, she’s getting it in! She is busy making her money and has been building her mums a house. So keep talking while your living in rented quarters content to pass judgement on someone whose hustle will soon see her own a home.

27th September 2013: Ten Things You Need To Know This Morning

Today, yet another blessed Friday has dawned. I for one am relieved. The week started on a dark note but as we regained control of Westgate, even the weather seemed to clear up. What more clear sign would you ask for to prove that the Almighty was on our side and not with the scum that massacred innocent women and children in His name?

And that being said, it’s time we got into the ten hottest stories in Kenya’s entertainment scene from yesterday and boy are these ones hot! Check them out below:

Kenyans Defend Sheila Mwanyighah Over Allegations That Her ‘Public Nudity’ Is Unethical!

The beautiful Sheila Mwanyigha a.ka. Nikki was recently set upon by the usual torch and pitchfork crowd for what they considered public indecency. This was due to her posing in a manner that suggested that she was naked on a billboard.

This  pose was struck in an advertisement  for a leading skin care  brand  which she is an ambassador of.Her supporters came in fast and furious to defend the easy F.M presenter. Here are some of the responses:
Lydia Matata
She looks beautiful…Hey sexist Kenya unfortunately this is not Saudi Arabia nor is it Pakistan, our bodies will not be used or torn down or illegalized to live up to ur male patriachical holier than thou bullshit. If u want u know stoning of women and cover ups hey…countries like those are just a plane ticket away. I support Consumers Federation of Kenya (Cofek) on must things but on this I say to the polished chauvinist who owns this outfit, f**k you. How comes you dont complain about the Axe add that basically disgraces women in sports or the lack of career women and only housewives in avertisin
David Osore ChapiaIts okay for guys to pose naked for cancer awareness but this is wrong…acheni hypocrisy…

Muthoni Gitahi:The Nivea ad with a mans torso bare… Why haven’t you championed against that? Alcohol adverts won’t those also lead to moral decadence? Let us stop being pretentious. Divert your energy to basic commodities that have become unaffordable for a majority of Kenyans. Or help in bringing Kenyans together at this very somber period in our lives

Aleksandr Ngaira:Oooh puh-lease …. raise your children … moral fibre kitu gani?children aren NOT spoiled by billboards but by absentee parents … a civilized grown up mind knows there is a line between modelled nudity and sexual nakedness …. is it pushing the envelope?sure it is …. so is good advertising …. let’s have a debate on whether it suited her or not …. not sijui moral fibre … oooh sijui next generation …. nonesense!

Wow! her supporters are certainly vocal and no bush was beaten around!

Newly-Saved Rapper Bamboo Asks You To Join Him In A Noble Cause.Find Out Which One Here!

True to what he told Mambo Mseto’s Willy M Tuva,Bamboo has truly used his fame to spread the gospel and not as a publicity- searching-money-making scheme as the doubtful had earlier speculated.

The rapper asked his fans to join him in a noble cause, fasting for the country. This is what he had to say:

I’m calling for a 3 day fast for the next 3 days in serious prayer for these 3 reasons.
1) For every soul lost at Westgate we need 100 souls brought into the kingdom. So if 64 are dead we need 6,400 souls saved in retaliation.
2) The economic impact on our nation as a result of this act is already effecting our economy with people having lost the breadwinners in their families, leave alone the funerals that people had not even budgeted for etc…
3) Our nation needs state of the art security equipment and educated security personnel. We also want all those responsible brought to justice whether it be the financiers, planners or those involved in any way shape or form. We want the Spirit of God to lead our officers straight to the rest of these terrorists and cripple their organization beyond repair. Those who war in the spirit get physical results.
I’m going to war. Any volunteers? All are welcome to join. Satan’s synagogue can’t kill the Children of God and think they can just get away with it.
Shalom.

Rapper Bamboo Explains Why He Got Saved Again

Simon Kimani whom you all know as Bamboo joined the likes of Size 8,Chantelle and Lady Bee by recently giving his life to Christ..again .

This transformation was met with a lot of skepticism as he had tried salvation  once and it did not work out too well and he soon  backslid. The doubting Thomases had a field day implying that he may be doing this as a publicity stand in order to gain money and fame.

The Love Vs Hate singer was hosted by the incredible Will M Tuva fondly referred to as Mzazi where he refuted these claims.Bamboo revealed that he was not doing Gospel  for money  but to spread the word.

Well, that explanation should silence the haters. We here at your number one source of entertainment news  wish the Kabich Karat rapper all the best in the path of righteousness

Radio Africa Group Staff Claims He Saw the Elusive ‘White Widow’ During Westgate Mall Attack

Bernard Wambua of Radio Africa Group is one of the lucky survivors of the Westgate Mall terrorist attack, escaping without a scratch. The office administrator claims he came face to face with Samantha Lewthwaite better known as White Widow.

Speaking to Daily Nation, Wambua said, “I saw a light-skinned woman with a black money bag around her waist. She shot at us, ignoring screams from the children.”

He, together with about 50 colleagues from East FM were in the parking lot organising a cooking competition for children. Most of the children were accompanied by their families.

According to Mr Wambua, all was going well until 11.50am. “We had just finished preparing a table where the children were to do the cooking shortly before noon when we heard gunshots. At first we thought it was a robbery but the shots became louder as though whoever was shooting was headed in our direction.

“Two men came to the parking lot. They were in jeans and T-shirts, one with an Arabic headscarf wrapped around his head. In their hands were huge guns and I could see pistols sticking out of their pockets. They started shooting at everyone and everything.

Samantha_Lewthwaite_PP.jpg

Samantha’s forged passport

“Most of us hid under the table we had been preparing. That did not deter the gunmen and they just kept shooting.

“That’s when the light skinned woman joined them. She too had a gun. She would point at things and the men shot at them. She shot at a gas cylinder we were using for the competition which resulted in a small fire. Luckily, it did not spread. She blasted several microwaves too.

Anyone who screamed was fired at. They were unforgiving.

“They left the parking lot when it was silent, maybe they thought they had killed everyone. Just in front of me was Mitul Shah, the director of sales and marketing at Bidco, the competition organisers. He was dead. And there was a teenage girl by my side. She was shot in the stomach. There was terrifying silence. A strong smell of blood. Many dead people.”

Octopizzo And Bamboo Squash Their Beef!

Earlier in the year, Bamboo took shots at Octopizzo, “numba nane’s” finest and went as far as involving Khaligraph Jones in the shots he fired by claiming Khaligraph Jones to be the better emcee when compared to Octopizzo.

But all that seems to be in the past as today, Octopizzo and seemed to have buried the hatchet going as far as to pose for a picture together and “numba nane’s” finest wishing the veteran emcee all the best in his walk in salvation.

Check out how all that went down below:

She Was A Good Child, Well Mannered And Positive:Ruhila’s Sister

Ruhila Adatia Sood was not only a darling to the media industry but also was also an apple of her sisters’ eyes. She was the last born in a family of four, she was the baby sister to Pinky, Farah and Shina.

Here is what Pinky had to say about her

“I was so excited when I heard my mother was going to have another baby but I wanted a baby brother. I believe that was normal as I already had two sisters and I thought why not a brother this time round? However, when she was born my for love her grew. Being girls only in the family, we had to find a way to enjoy ourselves. We all loved listening to radio. We also loved TV and watched serials and movies together. I guess that’s how Ruhila became passionate about joining the media. Ruhila was a good child, well mannered and positive. She made me see things from a different perspective. She was clumsy though.

I don’t remember her being punished but we had our bad moments like any other family and we just kept out of each other’s way till things cooled down. It was not often that Ruhila and I disagreed over things. We were quite compatible. We got along well and whenever we were mad at each other, we stopped speaking to one another till our tempers cooled down.

Not talking to one another was sufficient punishment since we were not just sisters but friends as well. We went for movie trips to Mombasa and clubbing. We shared similar interests and loved shopping. Her performance in school was good. She worked hard at school and in the university. She was very popular and was always the MC for school events like debates.

She was a prefect and was voted the most popular girl in school and had two pages dedicated to her in the annual school magazine. She, however, did not help much with household chores. The rest of us did most of the work to afford her time to concentrate on her studies. I remember her closet was always in a mess. She was not a good cook.

The only thing she made was fried eggs. She was always corrected whenever she went astray to help her distinguish between right and wrong. We were there for her whenever she needed our help and advise. I was happy for her when she decided to get married. It is a big step in life. I was delighted that my young sister had grown up and was responsible enough to take this step. I knew she was ready for it. She is the last born and will always be my baby sister. I was quite eager to see her reaction when my daughter was born. She is a great aunt to my daughter.

Sheila Mwanyigha Finally Finds the Nakumatt Guy She Dearly Loves (Photo)

Saturday 21 2013 will into the history as one of the darkest day in Kenya. Many were affected never mind their colour, race or status in the society. Among them were celebs who unfortunately lost their lives while others escaped by a whisker.

And now it has just emerged that Easy FM’s Sheila Mwanyigha was greatly affected by the attack though not directly. Here’s how;

I met Ndegwa when I was looking for furniture for my first flat. I had never lived on my own and was bursting with anticipation of the adventures that come with living single.

He was working at Nakumatt Westgate at the time and we struck up a good friendship. Over the years, whenever I would stop by to pick up groceries, I would call, or he would spot me and stop me for a chat. His spirit always picked me up and made me want to work even harder!

He always kept in touch and followed my work on radio, on TPF. He knew what songs I had released, and kept encouraging me to go on when the going got rough.

When the terrible attack on Saturday happened, I was afraid to call. Afraid of the worst. Afraid of goodbye. Afraid that I would never see Ndegwa again.

Yesterday I plucked up the courage to call. His phone was mteja.

I hardly slept last night, and as soon as it was daylight, tried his number again.

It rang, but there was no reply.

Then I called again. He answered the phone, and all I could do was cry.

Sheila_with_friend.jpg

He had been moved to the Highridge branch, as the Westgate branch is inaccessible, and I went over to see him.

My joy can not be expressed in words, but I know that this joy I feel is pain for many who have lost loved ones. My sincere and heartfelt prayers are with you at this time. My prayers are also with those who are injured.

The journey of life is one we all must travel, and oftentimes, God sends us encouragement and strength through people.

I pray that you find a Ndegwa who will encourage you and motivate you!

Hello again, my dear friend!

After ‘breaking up’ in 2010 when they both resigned from Capital FM Eve D’Souza and Gaetano Kagwa have just been reunited. The two were able radio hosts brought in to help the station’s morning ratings in the breakfast show after the exit of Fareed Khimani and Seanice Kacungira.

Last night, Gaetano made his debut on “Travel Diaries”, a TV show that gives you domestic tourism options in Kenya. The two presenters have extensive experience in the hosting arena as they both boast of vibrant experience.

Viral Video: American Man Claims Westgate Attack Was An Elaborate Hoax Perpetrated By Kenyan Photojournalist! (VIDEO)

Sometimes human suffering brings out the best of the human condition. Hope and unity and indeed, even love is brought out and humanity prevails. But there is always a dark side to the human aspect. There is always a hidden facet that attempts to corrupt and corrode the human spirit. and that element of humanity has reared it’s ugly head.

An American citizen by the name Max Malone (which I think might be a “nome de guerre” has surfaced contending that everything Kenyans were subjected to was a hoax. It was apparently an elaborate scheme by Kenyan authorities in collaboration with American and Israeli intelligence -to what ends, I have no idea!

The man cites as his evidence the fact that an African country isn’t capable of such infrastructure and the quality of footage from the siege is too high quality. He also asks how the Reuters photojournalist was able to capture so many images in such a high risk situation. Watch his conspiracy theory below then PLEASE let him have a piece of your mind.

How a man can trivialize the atrocities meted onto our Kenyan brothers and sisters and our friends from the international community like this is beyond me. Let the troll hammers swing!

Is Vera Sidika HIV+? Find Out Here (Photographic Evidence)

For some time now there have been rumours that video vixen and business lady Vera Sidika is suffering from HIV/AIDS. Even though the bodacious socialite had chosen to turn a blind eye to the tittle-tattle, the reality checked in yesterday when someone very close to her confronted her about the same.

Vera says she felt she didn’t need to give any explanation about her health condition (HIV status) and instead asked the ‘close person’ to accompany her to the lab for tests. And off they went to Nairobi Women’s Hospital for a blood test.

Here are the results straight from the lab;

Vera says, “Y’all don’t know how much it affects someone, especially when it involves their health. I just had to put an end to this!

Now you know.

Is This Senior Nation Journalist Trying To Start A Religious Feud After The Westgate Tragedy? Find Out What He Said Here!

Saturday was a day very few Kenyans will ever managed to put behind them. We were all affected whether directly or indirectly by the cowardly acts perpetrated by the lowest form of parasites claiming to be fighting a Holy war. And emotions have been running high since our armed forces successfully wrested Westgate from the claws of these so called terrorists.

but word was sent to us by none other than Robert Alai about a Nation Media Group senior employee who seems to have allowed himself to be swallowed by his emotions. The man, Phillip Ochieng who runs a column in the Sunday Nation recently tweeted what could potentially turn into an explosive statement:

  Philip Ochieng @philipotani

Following the #WestGateAttack I call for the government to #BanHijab in public places.

What I am personally wondering is why the man who is a self confessed atheist would seek to blame culture and by extension religion for the acts of these cowardly terrorists playing toy soldier.

It was not Muslims who perpetrated the heinous attack on Westgate, it was cowards misguided in their belief. As a religion, Islam stands for love and peace, not war. It was 10-15 cowards, not an entire religion that attacked Westgate.

From Uncle Chim Tuna to Phillip Ochieng, atheists are usually objective individuals who seek scientific evidence for everything. Temper your words so you do not condemn us to religious hostilities simply because your emotions ran high.

Actually, issue an apology!
