Huddah Demands Respect as She Prepares To Be a Mum. Is She Pregnant?

Sick of reports about her ‘bad behaviour’ Huddah Monroe has slammed reports that she is a socialite yet again! Huddah believes that she deserves more respect for her achievements and not the negative publicity she’s known for.

In what seems like a New Year Resolution, the former BBA, The Chase, contestant has hit out at all media personalities who refer to her as ‘socialite’ telling them to shove the term where the sun does not shine.

“These media personalities can shove that “Socialite” name in their anals!”

The petite Chaser believes that being referred to as a ‘socialite’ is derogatory since “she will be a mother soon”. Wait! Could she be pregnant???!

She says, “I read some stories and just laugh. I will be a mother soon .So I don’t think being called a Socialite would be appropriate.”

Does she deserve the respect she’s demanding?

No More Mr. Nice Guy! Jaguar Boldly Addresses Drug Dealer Rumours In New Music Video “Kioo” (VIDEO)

For long, there have been rumours surrounding Jaguar’s finances with some accusing him of profiting from the drug trade. Others had alluded to him being a “kept man” -for those not in the know, that means a man with a sugar mummy.

And it would seem that his threshold has been surpassed by far and he has finally decided to address the rumours. And he has done so through his latest music video for the track titled “Kioo”. He reached out to Enos Olik on this project and I am actually impressed.

Actually, everyone in the office is impressed. We need to see more work such as this from Kenyan artists if the Kenyan music game is to be elevated. The visual work is stunning and the track is also well put together thanks to Main Switch records.

And the women in the video? Well, the lass Amina Amaru is usually gorgeous but now she has transcended that in the video. She is simply amazing! Oooh la la! But don’t let me bend your ear for too long with all my jibber jabber, allow me to simply show you what I mean:

5 Fashions Trends We’d Like to See Female Celebs Rocking This Year

This year, Kenyan celebs should be bold enough and try out some of the celebrity style, fashion and beauty trends we only get to watch on E! and make it an everyday thing, not just reserved for the red carpet as they maintain their own personal styles.

  • Leather trousers

Leather skinnies (& wet-look jeans) have fast-become the style staple for the A-List during the cold weather. Matched well, you’ll definitely nail a master class in how to dress your leather trousers for every day wear. Shop for these.

  • Bring back the 90’s

How about bringing back the childhood staple, dungarees? Late 2013, 90’s fashion fans resurrected the dungaree in multiple styles for the new season, in classic stonewash denim which can be matched with dresses; denim overalls which can go well with, say, a sheer top.

Dungarees aren’t just limited to shorts and full-on overalls – a more ladylike alternative is this dark denim dress.

Something about them is that they are work for all ages whether running errands downtown Nairobi or attending a gig, you’ll still manage to look super cool.

  • Loud knits

You can definitely make a statement with your authentic vintage sweater from the Cosby Days. They come in fantastic shapes only worn lightly.

Go ahead and flaunt your style loud and proud!

  • Crop tops

The rise of the cropped tops has invaded the closets and outfit posts of any conscious fashionista. It’s become a must-have piece especially in this scorching heat of January.  Whether it’s a simple cotton cropped top or a totally lace cropped tee, this top trending piece can make any look standout especially when you step out for B&W, Mingle or any outdoor social gathering. Match with denim shorts for a totally cool look. With a wide range of styles to choose from, you can create stylish outfit choices while beating the hot weather in this full-proof combo.

NB; Only wear these when you have a well-toned body. People don’t want to see your stretch-marks and cellulite.

  • Sheer skirts

Sheer skirts were declared a “DO” by a multiple of starlets in Hollywood – it even trumped the mermaid gown as the red carpet dress of choice in 2013.

Sheer clothing items can be integrated into wardrobes for work, play and even running errands. At the same time, because the items are see-through, wearers must be careful about how they wear them. Different environments call for different ground rules.

Evenings are the perfect occasion for sheer skirts, and the only limit is the wearer’s imagination. One idea is to add a sheer skirt over a micro-miniskirt that the wearer might otherwise be afraid to wear. Celebs who want to show a little less leg can pair up sheer skirts with brightly colored leggings to keep things trendy.

Sheer skirts are most likely too formal for just going out to run errands. However, certain versions of these items, like sheer wraps, can add a special touch to an otherwise bland outfit.

Don’t be afraid to change up your style.

Why the First ever Kenyan Police reality TV show collapsed

In August 2013, an interactive TV show featuring Kenya police officers aimed at bettering the relationship between the Police and the general public through open barazas (discussion forums) where people in attendance would be taught community policing, civic education and humanitarian understanding, was launched. However, it wasn’t long before the commendable TV show crumpled merely at the teething stage.

Dubbed ‘Afande Mtaani’, the TV show was the brainchild of David ‘Kabash’ Kinyanjui of Sanaa Zote Productions and the pilot was made possible through the cooperation and full assistance from the National Police Service PRO office. In spite of this, not so long before the show could kick off, bottlenecks emerged.

Kabash laments that the project stalled following difficulties to reach Interior and Co-ordination of National Government, Cabinet Secretary Ole Lenku and other Police linchpins to help start the ball rolling for the TV show, considering the police was the main source of information.

And just like that, the good initiative and what would be a very major step in local production died a natural death.

The show was supposed to star officers Qwacheez and Chemu.

Here’s its trailer;

Bootyfull Vera Sidika Tries Van Damme’s Epic Split under Water (PHOTO)

Remember Jean-Claude Van Damme’s amazing split for Volvo trucks? In just one week, the video of the epic split between two moving Volvo trucks was viewed 36 million times on YouTube. I don’t know how many of those people actually bought the Volvo trucks, but the clip’s viral popularity is undeniable.

So after Van Damme went viral viral with his Volvo truck splits commercial, Vera had to one up him. The badonkadacious tried doing a split under water though she didn’t go all the way down. This, after trying a couple of underwater squats.

Even her hot rump-roaster couldn’t prevent her from trying to do the split;

Kenyan Socialites: Past Present And Future

Socialites are no longer what they used to be. The socialite status is no longer reserved for the good-looking, well bred, disgustingly rich and Ivy League alumni.

Nowadays anyone and i mean ANYONE  can be as socialite as long as you have an asset and are willing to wade in the very murky waters of controversy. Famous for being famous  the lasses have made careers out of fame though they prefer to remain mum about what they do and if they talk it’s something as ambiguous as ‘business’.They have  made nightclub crawling and taking  alcohol and weed  for  breakfast look elegant. Basically they are role models for a lot of ditzy, clueless girls and guys.

Kenya’s most notable ‘socialites’ include Huddah Monroe, Vera Sidika, Pendo,Shee Waruinge and Risper Faith. The rest are either struggling socialites or actual socialites (with looks, money and influence) who incidentally shy away from the media attention. Before the Huddah Monroe generation there were also other media personalities who were socialites but managed to hide their socialite status as they masqueraded as radio presenters, musicians and even actresses.

So what do Kenyans really think of the socialites, I did my research and these are some of the responses:

Mudigi Savara “In Kenya, we don’t have socialites. Socialites are not poor. Let me call them social human beings but definitely not socialites.”

Nyambura Maina They are a necessary vice. They are in my opinion biz people who’ve found a niche in being bitchy n with I kg of dignity that’s easy to drop. That’s what pays their bills. …I might not like what they do but then again I also don’t like lawyers who lay in court…ergo it are their job.

Kenneth Ouma The top 5 Kenyan socialites are gold diggers, bitches and high-class hoes. Many ladies are not aware of that.

From the few responses I got its clear as day that we do not approve of them and what they do but we keep rewarding them. We reward them by likes on social media, by clicks on website and by buying magazines about them. Basically their lives are our entertainment. But why do we keep rewarding them and yet we do not even like them?

Nikky Wasuna reckons “We live vicariously through them. We want the lives they have but can’t afford it so we settle for the next best thing and hope that somewhere somehow it’ll rub off. And most importantly they embody our ultimate desire: getting something for nothing. They allow us the fantasy that you don’t really have to work hard to be rich and famous. They give us the illusion that the best things in life really are perhaps within reach.
Victor Kariuki says that we reward them because  most men love bitches. ..These gals make 80+ a gig…face it most girls would give a foot to switch places… we reward them because their antics bring so much entertainment …dumb hoes are fun to watch

http://www.thezerosbeforetheone.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/partying.jpg

The likes of Toxic started this socialite business who handed over the torch to Huddah Monroe and by the look of things  the future of socialites is certainly bright As long as we keep rewarding them

Revealed: Controversial Socialite Pendo Graduates Secretly (PHOTOS)

She has been out of the glare of publicity for some time now and most of her fans had started wondering what befell their favourite socialite. However, after the blackout, Pendo is poised to make a huge comeback. First off, the controversial socialite is in Jaguar’s new video, Kioo, set to drop any time today.

However, we’ve been wondering what Pendo has been up to for the period she’s been lying low. Our find was pretty interesting as we discovered that she wasn’t posting any nudes online, despite being a self-confessed ‘attention seeker and the controversy that accompanies it’. Instead, Pendo decided to make her brain greater by going back to school.

Apparently, during her hiatus from the public eye, Pendo secretly graduated from college. This exhibits that even celebrities see the value in a college education. Here’s Pendo celebrating her accomplishments;

Is Vera Sidika On Holiday With A Sugar Daddy? Find Out Here

I just came across a piece in one of the dailies that was written by one Stevens Muendo. In the piece, the writer (Stevens Muendo) has asserted that he knows Vera’s exact whereabouts and under which circumstances she came to be in Dubai. Actually, he’s not the only one.

Last week, Hits FM’s Saliva Vic claimed to know whom she was with. But let’s start with what we do know:

Vera is in Dubai. She is in Dubai. And she is kicking it at a prestigious hotel: Kempinski. And she has been having a blast site-seeing and showing off her tender tush in a monokini swimsuit.

And now for what each source is alleging. According to Stevens Muendo, Vera is in Dubai courtesy of a wealthy Nigerian -reportedly one of the wealthiest in Lagos. And Lagos has a long list of dollar millionaires.

Saliva Vic on his part has insisted that Vera Sidika is hanging out with a popular media mogul who’s initials are similar to mine: C.K. What I am wondering is why there are so many theories behind this. But this was Saliva Vic’s statement:

‘Fundamentals’ was arguably the biggest song for the last quarter of 2013 and if you haven’t already listened to it by now, you should get out from under that rock you’ve been living under at the speed of light. Anyhow, the song rose from just over 500 views to a whopping 230,000 in just under a month, yes, that’s how an anthem it became. But just what inspired Ken Wa Maria to do this song?

Just like a popular singer once said, “Every single song is like a road map”, ‘Fundamentals, too, is a road map. Speaking on Citizen TV, Wa Maria revealed that the hit song was instigated by matters marriage.

“Kama mwanaume anatafuta mke ama mke anatafuta bwana,” begins Wa Maria adding, “Jambo la kwanza kama we ni mwanamke ukuje useme umapata kijana anataka kuniona, utaulizwa na mamako kisiri tu, ‘fundamentals’ zake ni nini na nini…vitu zile muhimu…zile main.”

Wa Maria says there are communities that ask about the facial structure, body figure and way of life generally.

“Fundamentals ni zile vitu muhimu za mwanaume na mwanamke ndio akubalike na mwenzake ndio waolewe”, articulates Wa Maria.

Challenged about the fundamentals he refers to in the music video, Wa Maria points out that those were his fundamentals then BUT only in the video context and not real life.

Emmy Kosgei Embraces Marriage And Everything That Comes With It Including Singing In Igbo

Today, earlier in the morning, Emmy Kosgei Madubuko was on KTN’s “Sunrise Live where she started off by singing in a language that can only be described as beautiful: Igbo. The lass did a marvelous job of it. Her diction was way better than mine!

Emmy went on to then answer questions pertaining to her marriage to popular Nigerian televangelist Apostle Anselm Madubuko. And her answers were very interesting indeed.

When asked what she was finding tricking to acclimatizing to, she said the food because Nigerians love pepper -true. She also said that Nigeria has a more vibrant celebrity culture and she is finding it hard to have t move about with protection 24/7 because unlike on the streets of Nairobi, she
cannot gallivant around Lagos without paparazzi disturbing her.

And she also said that she is enjoying life as a married woman as her husband is caring and loving -a given response from a newly wed, we should ask her the same question 10 years from now.

Photo Of The Day:Inspekta Mwala Goes Back To Primary School

Davis Mwabili is one of the few veteran actors who have managed to stay on our screens from back in the early nineties when our only source of entertainment came from watching Vioja  Mahakamani and Vitimbi.

He now plays Inspekta Mwala in a TV program with the same name, a diminutive policeman who has managed to scale the ranks to become Kona Mbaya’s baddest  Inspector .Despite his height, he still manages to make his rowdy juniors and neighborhood thugs tremble in fear when they see him. Inspekta recently shed his usual Khaki uniform for something green. Have a look:

Juliani Gets A Brand New Drop Top Coupe Sports Car!

I remember meeting Juliani sometime last year at a petrol station and I noticed that he was rolling in a sweet MR2 and I recall asking for permission to take a couple of pictures of that bad-boy. The request was denied. But in Juliani’s ever so quiet and humble way. I simply walked away. That was last December. I haven’t spoken about that car since then until a fan caught up with the lad and took a picture of the car then sent it to me.

Fate.

Anyway, the sweet ride is brand new and gives credence to the fact that his is a living God who can turn even an area boy into a man of means. Check out the ride below:

Blankets And Wines Fashion Misses (PHOTO GALLERY)

Blankets and Wines is the premier middle class event. Gone are the days when it was about the music, it’s now about being seen at where all the cool kids hang -high school never really ends. But even at such society page events, you will never miss ratchet fashion or just bizarre couture taste. And I have examples of it. Check out the photo gallery below:

Muthoni Drummer Queen just had to make the cut with that half weave.

To the lady on the left: how did you end up dressing like that? And on a day when all you had to do was dress up well and turn up! You are the reason Ringtone was arrested! You are the reason Brenda Wairimu and Juliani broke up! You are the reason Nick Odhiambo beat up his girlfriend!

http://distilleryimage2.ak.instagram.com/f2634476768e11e395210e703bd8ecf6_8.jpg

Why Chimano? Just why? You’re usually on point when it comes to fashion but on this ocassion, you slipped up.

And as usual, Oliech makes it to the badly dressed list. Did lad kill a dark skinned man, skin him then wear his skin to Blankets and Wine? There are skinnies and there are jegging. Neither of the two are meant to show your veins as you walk.
Seriously though, what was this? Is this a new fad? Condoms for your legs? Lad, your skin needs to breathe! Sick shoes though.

Don’t Just Talk Sh*t .Do Epic Sh*t :Caroline Mutoko

Kiss 100’s Caroline Mutoko always has a few gems of wisdom for us Kenyans .She gives us the hard facts that most will shy from giving and makes us swallow the bitter pill that is the truth.

Her latest advice was no different and the only way I can describe it is using one word ‘Epic’. Caroline Mutoko to you

In 2014 – Do Epic Shit!
I’m giving you the template for what we can do to ensure that our lives, our homes, our relationships and our nation will be transformed for the better, forever. In 2014 , Be Epic, Think Epic and Do Epic Shit. Yeah I said.

In 2014 – question everything. Why should things be the same as always just cause? Ask the questions no-one is asking and provide answers as well. If no-one questioned stuff, we wouldn’t have Equity bank or M-shwari or the Thika Super highway. We wouldn’t have visionaries we constantly talk about like Dr. Alfred Mutua etc.

However – don’t just question it, find answers. As my CEO says, “I have problems, give me solutions.”

In 2014 – blow up things. The fact that it has always been that way, doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. Find new ways of doing things. How do you think we got Mpesa and  Facebook, and Twitter and Mbanking and Whatsapp – somebody dared to blow up the way we communicated and worked.Case closed. Blow shit up!

In 2014 – go faster.Speed trumps precision. I’m in an industry that must match both speed and precision or we will be obsolete. In a world where twitter breaks news and has the videos and pictures before we can say “Good evening this is TV Primetime news.”

In 2014, we are going to have to go faster and work with the precision of a guided missile or perish.

In 2014 – Jump and learn to fly on the way down. When I look back at the last 3 years of my life and my career, I can truly say the person who first told me “get on with it” changed my life. Judy Kairo – thank you. Want to adopt a baby? Do it. Want to go to Harvard? Do it. Mind you, I didn’t know where the money would come from. Want to buy a home, maybe two? Do it. Want to invest in Estonia? Do it.

The truth is, safety nets are gone forever. In 2014 – Jump!

In 2014 – Do It Anyway. There is a world of opportunity for those who ignore “no”.

I have learnt that you must never ask for directions from someone who has never been where you want to do. How will they tell you how to get there?? You can’t build that building, you can’t buy that stock, you can’t invest in that venture. You can’t bring Forbes to Africa,it will never work… , blah, blah, blah”

Really? Wanna bet? Be Epic, Think Epic, Do Epic Shit.

In 2014 – fix the flying toilets. Dedicate your life to something more important than yourself.Eradicate Jiggers, save elephants, provide sanitary towels, pay fees, give blood donations, run a marathon for charity – do something for someone else.Change a life. It doesn’t take money – it takes selflessness. Giving has nothing to do with the state of your wallet, it’s a state of mind. Stop talking about the problems and do something about it.

But before you yell “yeah!” and run out the door, take a moment in the next few days and learn yourself deeply. What matters to you –seriously. We are a people who are constantly “other led”. You’re constantly waiting for the “likes” before you can act.

Stop it! Follow your passion and everything else will fall into place – fact.

While you’re at it, disrupt yourself and remember resilience is everything. I have said this over the past year and I will say it again –find your breaking point.

Doing enough is simply not good enough. Do Epic Shit.

However, beware of the status quo that remains at war –those people who will mess us up while we are on verge of doing Epic Shit. Youwill be told “ulitukuta hapa, na utatuwacha hapa”. Ignore those nutcases. You are the powers that be. Insiders will never topple the status quo. Why would they?Duh!

Incidentally, doing Epic shit has nothing to do with talking shit.
Some of us spend all our time sabotaging the places we work, the relationships we are in, badmouthing the schools, churches and even campus we go to. If it’s not working for you, build something new. Get another job, move to another school, provide solutions, or get out of your crap relationship. Do Epic Shit, don’t just talk shit.

In 2014, Be Epic, Think Epic and Do Epic Shit and when we look back a year from today, I hope we will celebrate how we changed our lives, relationships and our country for the better.  Have an Epic 2014.

Top K24 Journalists Caught With Their Pants Down

Every day, professional news anchors and reporters appear before millions of viewers to report on the day’s events. More often than not, these telecasts are broadcast live, which means that when ‘accidents’ happen, (as accidents always do), those mistakes are seen by a lot of people. However, Kenyan TVs have always sliced off these seemingly embarrassing moments denying their audience a hearty laughter.

Even so, once every year these blue-penciled parts are pieced up and shown to viewers. K24 has released a video of what its leading journalists and anchors do when you’re not watching but the ‘big-brother’ always is. The best part is that these guys do crazy things subconsciously thinking the camera isn’t rolling.

This unedited hilarious video is a stark contrast to the usual poise you generally see from your professional K24 reporter/ anchor;

3 People In The Media Industry Who Mysteriously Disappeared Never To Be Seen Again (Photos)

Every year thousands of people go missing, when you walk around town or peruse through newspapers you are likely to find the picture of a missing person. Most of these people are found some dead others alive but they are those who never make it back home.

They are those who disappear in very strange circumstances it’s like they literally vanish into thin air. Families sit by the telephone for days waiting for news about their loved one, hoping praying and sometimes dreading news about their loved one. The news never comes. Days Weeks, months and for some of them years have gone by and still no trace of them.

In Kenya three cases of people in the media /entertainment industry disappearing stand out. They sublimed never to be seen again.

Czars

http://kenyancelebs411.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/czars2.jpg

About eight years ago a youthful singing sensation by the name Czars disappeared just before his KCSE exams. His father revealed that the son went for the KCSE rehearsals then came back home excited about the prospect of clearing high school. Czars then changed out of his school uniform and left the house saying that he was going to visit a friend. That was the last they saw of the teenager. When the father realized that the son had taken too long to return home, a search party was sent out and for on two days the search went on to no avail. On the third day the dad contacted the police, but 8 years on still there is no sign of him.
Some say that he was spotted in Eastleigh sometime back others say that he was shacking up with an old lady at the coast living large but this information has been wildly flawed.

Bogonko Bosire

Days have turned to weeks and weeks to months and still no sign of Bogonko Bosire. Bogonko was the editor of Jackal News ,one of the most straight shooting nerve jerking online media in Kenya. Jackal News is considered a credible news site though they tend to embellish the news a lot. Shake off the embellishments and you will find the truth. Thanks Jackal News, Bogonko was a respected and feared man in the media industry and was able to saunter the corridors of power while the rest of the media practitioners were frozen outside. Search for the controversial blogger has taken his friends and family to all police stations as well as hospitals across Nairobi, public mortuaries and even pubs that he would go for a drink with chums, to no avail .Leads to his whereabouts have led to a dead end with our last hope Dennis Itumbi stating that he did not know where Bogonko Bosire is. A facebook page was opened to find Bogonko .The search for Bogonko has been as fruitful as the search for Bigfoot.

Paul Kimita Citizen TV

Citizen TV Journalist Disappears without a Trace

Paul Kimita is a video editor who like the rest of the people on this list disappeared very mysteriously. One time he was leaving the Citizen studio, the  next moment he is reported to have dissapeared and there has been no sign of him over the last two months.

Ghafla! Exclusive: Maina Kageni Finally Responds to Widespread Rumours of His Sexual Orientation. Is He Gay? Find Out

It’s no doubt that he’s the most listened to radio host as far as morning radio is concerned. Controversy seems to be central in his career as much as it is in his private life. He’s also among the top wealthiest young people in Kenya. He’s Maina Kageni.

I recently had the rare chance of interviewing where I sought to find out more about the hullabaloo surrounding his sexuality among other things that makes him what he is. Here’s an excerpt of that interview;

Is there any one time that you have received a very controversial topic that you felt you can’t let it go on air?

Very many times… some can literally tear our social fabric… can you imagine learning that your much older brother is also your father? How do I air that?

One thing is true about you; either people love or hate you extremely, there’s no in-between. How do you deal with haters?

I let them be… opinions are like ass holes… everyone has one!!!!

How do you deal with female fans? It’s public knowledge that you get numerous sex offers and even marriage proposal.

I appreciate their love for me but I keep a respectable distance….

What do you think about Mwalimu King’ang’i?

Very creative and a great guy with a generous, giving heart who never feels threatened by new talent… he actually takes them under his wing and nurtures them….

There have been rumours that have been circulating for the longest time now that question your sexual orientation. So, Maina are you gay?

Why are people hung up on this after all these years?

Why do you defend women rigorously and selflessly (to the point of earning the title, “Women Rep.”) yet there’s no woman in your life apart from your mum?

Women are the pillars of any society…You don’t go bashing the walls that support your house, do you?

There you have it.

Ugandan Model Continues To Shine In Africa’s Next Top Model .Will She Take Home The Crown?

Since the inception of Africa’s next top model it is clear that Uganda’s Aaamito Stacey is a strong competitor. She has one of those outstanding authentic African looks that Alek Wek and Ajuma posses.

She has great skin and an edgy striking face and modeling skills that would make Tyra proud. The lass continued to shine in the competition and even emerged victorious in the latest shoot that got South Africa’s Cheandre and Ghana’s Roselyn booted out. The shoot was a dramatic editorial for South Africa’s fashion royalty David Tlale. The models were expected to work together with an unseen enemy that was added in post-production. Some of them shone such as Aamito but others fell flat on their face. This is what went down at the latest shoot

My Take On Homosexuality

I have never really interacted with a gay person, I think the closest that I have come to a gay person is the lipstick lesbians in high school. I don’t know if they count. I don’t know much about gay people but I believe that we should accord them full human rights .

I believe that everyone should love whomever they please and if it is sex they can have sex with whomever they please unless its forced, a child, animal or dead person (Super gross)So why am I writing an articles about Homosexuals. Well a super preposterous law dubbed “Kill the Gays bill” was passed by Ugandan parliament to toughen the punishment for homosexual acts which includes life imprisonment in some cases. The anti-homosexuality bill also makes it criminal not to report gay people and you could spend time in jail for that
The MP behind the bill, David Bahati, told the AFP news agency: “This is victory for Uganda. I am glad the parliament has voted against evil.”(Really?)

He then continued to add
“Because we are a God-fearing nation, we value life in a holistic way. It is because of those values that members of parliament passed this bill regardless of what the outside world thinks,” he said

Foreigners are not also spared; you cannot be gay and proud in Uganda thanks to the existing anti-homosexuality laws. A retired British man is awaiting trial in Entebbe on charges of possessing a gay sex video after thieves found images on his laptop. If found guilty he could spend two years behind bars. What is funny is that instead of punishing those who stole his lap[top, they are punishing him for having what they call inappropriate material in his STOLEN  laptop.

Well before we point fingers at Uganda we in Kenya are also guilty, I have seen people condemn gay people for being gay, some have even received threats while others such as Joji Baro are targeted on social media for being gay.

We here at Ghafla have often been accused of promoting “sin”, pushing the Gay Agenda and also gay-bashing (How is it even possible to do both?)

And no we are not gay neither do we gay bash, we  just believe in live and let live, if no one is pushing their sexuality on me/us on anyone for that matter, I think we should just let people be. It shouldn’t bother us .Let God be the judge for we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We do a lot of sin that the Bible condemns and yet we slam other people because we sin differently? Come on people! And before you open your bibles and read to me a few verses about how the Lord abhors homosexuality I will let you know that the same bible condemns judging.

This is what it says Matthew 7:1-5
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

And I am not trying to push the gay agenda on anyone, I just think we should practice tolerance, be more accepting and judge less. And no I’m not gay. I am straight. And to quote Nali Sharon “I have my preference, but mine is not superior to anyone’s. Nor is it a standard to measure everyone by”

DJ Joe Mfalme Visits Sick Children In Kenyatta Hospital (PHOTO)

Joseph Mwenda AKA DJ Joe Mfalme is currently one of Kenya’s top Deeejays having played for Big Brother Africa 2010-2011 in South Africa and in the 2010 World Cup Parties in South Africa.

He also plays in Kenya’s Top Radio Station-98.40 Capital Fm and you can be sure that when Mfalme is on the decks the party will never stop.

When he is not Deejaying, DJ Joe is giving back to the less fortunate. He has even been quoted saying that
Since 2009 When I Started Deejaying,I Had Goals In Mind And A Vision That I’m Working Towards Achieving And One Of Them Was To Touch A Child’s Heart….And touching a child’s heart he did with even spending Christmas at Kenyatta National hospital in an effort to make the children feel special.

Deejay Joe was back to the hospital with goodies for the sick tots,Have a look:

DJ Joe gave this reason for giving back to the needy “You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world’s problems at once but don’t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.”

Did You Know That J Blessing Was A Bongo Artist Back In The Day? Check Out His Songs Here (VIDEO)

J. Blessing is known for one thing. And there is nothing wrong with that. He isn’t a jack of all trades but a master of none. He focused on one. That one was video directing and the lad has quite the talent for it. But before all that, who exactly was J. blessings? Well, Ghafla found out.

Before he became an accomplished video director, he was an aspiring Bongo artist -rather, he would make gospel music and Bongo Flava was his genre of choice.
And back then , he didn’t have his trade mark locks nor was the beautiful Chantelle draped on his arm in wedded bliss. He was just your average Joe trying to eke a living for himself. Check out his two tracks

Kiss 100 Sassy Presenter Tells off Kenyans Poking Fun at Ruto’s Son’s KCPE Results

This morning, the blogosphere was set ablaze when a rumour started doing rounds that Deputy President, William Ruto’s son did not perform well in his exams. KOT and those on Facebook brazenly and callously attacked the innocent boy.

This afternoon, however, Angela Muriuki, the evening show host on Kiss 100, lashed out at the malicious Kenyans calling them ‘the failure’. She says;

This is some bullsh*t. You sit your ass down and type some rubbish about Ruto’s kid failing…and you’re an adult.

You’re the failure. You’re the one whose life is so pointless that you have to fill up the long, empty hours making fun of a CHILD. How do you know that you won’t have children as dumb as rocks?? What rubbish.
