Robert Alai is one of the most controversial and clear-cut bloggers around. Due to his seemingly abrasive nature he has often rubbed a lot of people especially public figures the wrong way.

The hero to the common mwananchi finally went to Jeff Koinange live on KTN after swearing not to appear in the show.
I have to admit the real Robert Alai is quite toned down as compared to the cyber activist. When asked by a viewer if he would be running for presidency in 2017 “I am not a politician.” adding that “Politics has a way of destroying people”

Later in the interview he opened up about criticizing Sophie Wanuna and the short skirt she had worn during an interview with some clergy men.He advised Kenyans to do their thing without fear of criticism from the Robert Alai’s of the world urging Kenyans who want to make it big to develop a thick skin just like socialites.

A few days ago, a site by the name Nairobi Exposed wrote a n unflattering not forgetting appalling story about gospel artiste Willy Paul .

It was said that Willy Paul had once again allegedly slept with an underage girl in the U.S.A and he was in jail for that. This is what Willy Paul had to say regarding the said accusation:

My life is a painful story that makes me shed tears everyday when I look at where I have come from…to where I am now… I have been through a lot… from insults to false allegations… I keep wondering, why is it me that keeps hurting? But some pastor told me that the higher I go the more people are gonna try bringing me down… God opened a door for me and right now am in the USA…doing His work. But because of jealousy and hatred.. People who pretend to be my friends turn against me… it’s not my fault that God has made me what I am today.. Others are saying that am arrested n in jail yet am here. Over the long Easter weekend while the rest of you had mad fun; indulging in nyama choma and washing it down with your favorite poison, prisoners at Industrial Area Remand were confined behind sky-high walls with nothing to smile about.

However, lady luck would soon put a smile on their faces as one of the persons they assisted become viral came back to say “Asante”.

In the company of Jalang’o, Vinnie Banton, Bahati, Kidis, Nonini, DJ Wesley, his producer Philo and a host of other friends, Jaguar’s gift bag was full as he made his way to a place where he shall forever be grateful for making one of his singles a national anthem.

And grateful he was because as he grabbed the mic he said, “Wakati nilicome apa kushoot video mulinisupport vinoma sana manze na song ikakua kubwa sana, sindio! Kwa ivo madam Wanini aliniambia niwafanyie kitu leo nikasema manze me si mdosi saaaana but naezafford kitu.”

Like we mentioned earlier, the celebrated singer didn’t come empty handed. Thanks to his benevolence, the Monday diet at the prison changed for the better as both lunch and supper were billed to him.

With the help of the prison administration, the singer awarded the inmates and prison wardens who had did extremely well in terms of discipline, cleanliness and sports.

Jaguar also promised to support one of the very talented inmates who exhibited his prowess in singing immediately he’s done serving his time.

What is a “double standard”? Well, according to Wikipedia, “a double standard is the application of different sets of principles for similar situations, or by two different people in the same situation. A double standard may take the form of an instance in which certain concepts (often, for example, a word, phrase, social norm, or rule) are perceived as acceptable to be applied by one group of people, but are considered unacceptable—taboo—when applied by another group.“

And there can be no clearer explanation of what a double standard than today’s morning conversation with callers calling in to tell harrowing tales about being abused at the hands of their wives.

 From the attitudes of the lads at the office, this is a funny conversation. Who would have thought of a man being beaten by his wife? Hmmm? But what I am wondering is why it isn’t as hilarious when a man beats his wife up? Or why is it alright for women  to declare from the rooftops that they batter their husbands -and often with kitchen utensils yet men have to whisper that they beat their wives?

My colleague Munyu had some incite on the matter noting that while it is alright for someone to call me skinny, I cannot call fat people fat. I would get sat on (his words, not mine). And while I personally do not pull punches for fat is merely an adjective, I cannot understand how we have gotten to a point where we are alright with women beating their men up.

Mwenyehaki is an award winning Performing and recording artist, a song writer, a band leader and above all, a worship leader.

His vision is to impact this generation through music, mentor artists and above all win as many souls to the kingdom of God. Besides that, he gave back to society through establishing a Rehab center.

In 2012, he travelled to Europe with Diguna AIC Kenya for a 3 months mission trip as the music director for the team. The “Wanajua” singer visited the following countries: Germany, Polland, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Luxenmberg and Tanzania.

In 2008 and 2009 he participated in leading worship at World Vision Conferences.

A while back, it seemed Calif had taken a new direction, concentrating on building upcoming artists. Seems I was wrong in that assumption. But that will not hinder the progress, they were actually back in the backroom strategising on how to corner the entertainment market and it would seem they have an answer.

So, now allow me to get right into it. The meeting of the minds had Clemo, the mastermind, the veteran and general of the Calif army, Mejja, his protege, and Jimwatt who has been working on his comeback.
That’s the Calif side of the equation. But not the entire picture as Kora and Madtraxx are also in the house.
