GHAFLA EXCLUSIVE:Former Citizen TV Host Responds To Allegations That She Was A Stripper And Drug Mule

A few days ago, revered former Citizen TV Host and PR Manager at KQ fell from grace after she was fired by KQ.

This was after a salacious article written by controversial blog Kahawa Tungu exposed her as a fraud alleging that she did not attend New York University as she claimed and was in fact a stripper and a drug mule in various New York neighborhoods.

http://www.kahawatungu.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/ALICE+ODERA.gif

The blog alleged that Alice was promptly deported from the U.S.A after the authorities discovered what she was up to.

While its true that she is no longer at KQ, she profusely denied denies being a stripper and a drug peddler in the U.S.

Speaking exclusively to Ghafla! this is what she had to say :

“Criminal or a deportation records in the US are public information, so if I have any they will be found” adding that she would give us more information depending on certain developments.

Chantelle Hits Out At Kenya’s Top Model For Allegedly Calling J Blessing ‘Baby’

Twitter had better take a back seat because by the look of things Instagram is where the claws come out, where the weaves are grabbed, business is thrown on the streets for all to see and shots are fired.

Yesterday, Chantelle’s claws came out after accomplished model Delliah Ipupa complimented her Husband and said’ Elongi ya Bebe’ after he posted a photo of himself.

This comment did not go down well with Mrs. J Blessing so she quickly  retorted” He only has one baby.”  Sensing a storm in a tea-cup, Delliah  was quick to explain herself saying“ LOL .What I said simply means BabyFace in Lingala.”

Here is the exchange

Gospel Boys MOG Still Have Their Game on Lock. Check Out their Latest Surprise

Their boat might have been rocked and reeled by a violent storm, even plunging underneath the water but they managed to pull themselves on to the dock.

The urban Gospel group, Thee MOG, has been hit by scandal after scandal but that has never affected their music. Even after Tony left the group, the remaining members, Boss and Kenti assumed the mantle aptly.

Well, the boys have just released the video of their hit, “Tosheka” that has immensely been on most radio and TV charts.

MOG-Kenya-tosheka.jpg

I must say that this is one of my favourite Gospel hits because one, the message is simple and clear and two, the video concept is down-to-earth but so effective.

EXCLUSIVE: Another Hot Female Rapper Gets Married in Secret. You’ll Never Guess Which Celeb Put a Ring on it (PHOTOS)

If a celebrity gets married and no paparazzi or reporters are around to photograph it, did it happen at all? We just proved that, yes, it did.

In showbiz, it’s hard to keep your day-to-day life private, let alone a big event, but yet another celebrity couple has managed to pull off the ultimate trick: keeping their weddings secret. As it turns out, not every celebrity marriage requires giant ice sculptures, a star-studded guest list, and sleek cars causing a bad traffic jam in town.

Just this week, female rapper Petra and ace video producer Kevin Bosco Jnr tied the knot in a spur-of-the-moment AG’s chambers ceremony, keeping it their marriage refreshingly low-key and drama-free.

After we got wind of it, we reached out to Petra and she gladly confirmed saying;

“It was a civil marriage after the marriage we went out and had dinner and went clubbing kidogo with two of our buddies one of whom is my cousin and Alex better known as ‘big soul’.”

Big Soul is the producer behind “My City My Town” hit by Prezzo and Cannibal and on he was Bosco’s best man since they have been boys from back in the day and so it was only fair for him to witness the union of his pal.

The civil marriage will be followed by a grand wedding party slated for either 14th or 15th May which happens to be Petra’s birthday where the press and family and friends will be invited.

Petra adds that she wanted to keep her relationship with the video director as relationship as private as possible that’s why she was never revealing his name to the media.

‘We have gone through everything negative together but that was all washed away on the 30th of April, a day that I will forever remember.”

Here are exclusive photos from their marriage after party;

STL Joins the List of Celebs with Hot & Expensive Cars. Check Out Her New Ride

Hot, expensive and sleek rides are a dozen in showbiz. For one, a hot car makes a slow-witted and fugly guys look way cool, so it’s understandable why celebs, with their disposable income, pay big shillings for cool rides.

And now, top female rapper, STL is the latest to join the celebs-with-sleek-rides list. This morning, the “Koolio” rapper touched down at the JKIA and her customized-plates Mercedes S500 was at hand to whisk her away.

Sauti Sol’s Steamy Video Banned on TV

Earlier in the week, boy band Sauti Sol released a video that sent the internets into a frenzy. Just as its name “Nishike” (touch me) suggests, the video lives up to its name.

While Sauti Sol got the streets talking about their new sweltering video, there were very slim chances that the video would be aired on local TV stations; and the reason is pretty obvious; it’s just too damn hot for TV.

Whereas the boys managed to turn up the spice, heat up some controversy, and push boundaries in their new music video, “Nishike” won’t be gracing your TV screens.

This was revealed last night at the inaugural Mdundo Awards by the lead vocalist & guitarist of the afro-pop band, Bien Aime.

In the middle of his “thank you” speech for everyone who came through to make possible the super viral video, the towering vocalist disclosed that the band’s lawyer is currently at the corridors of justice to petition against the banning of the video.

According to Bien, “Nishike” was banned for “showing pornography”.

We are to establish if the video has officially been banned from airing on TV. But if so, Sauti Sol won’t be the only artist, nor will it be the last to get a big fat CENSORSHIP sticker plastered across its video reel as P-Unit’s “You Guy” was listed as a controversial line-stepping video that received Citizen TV’s axe.

So You Think You Have Talent? Here Is Where You Should Be

There is a place in Kenya where you can actually get to see your talent developed and be guaranteed to get all the exposure you need as a performing artist. Welcome to Sarakasi Trust.

Sarakasi Trust is a performing arts development organization working towards building capacity in the arts sector in Kenya. The Trust works as a mechanism for culture for development by effecting actual demonstrable transformation in the livelihoods of young people from low income backgrounds and neighbourhoods, by expanding their scope, networks and capacity through performance based training, exchange programs and contracts and special projects that influence the young artist’s ability to reach a high level of professionalism and thus access a sustainable income.

Whereas Africa is often associated with negative impressions related to human suffering caused by armed conflicts, natural disasters, health and environmental problems, mismanagement and corruption, Sarakasi promotes the different side of the African continent and people: the beautiful, vibrant, energetic, talented and inspiring men, women and children and culture and the arts as an expression of life, hope and creativity.

Sarakasi aims to support positive developments among the deprived members of society and actively supports performers to take their social responsibility within their own communities. Therefore it supports and creates ownership of the performers for its projects and activities. To that effect, Sarakasi promotes establishment and formation of groups of performing artists (acrobats, dancers, musicians) who are trained by associated groups or individual performers turned trainers/choreographers. Sarakasi supports training at various locations in the urban settlements of Nairobi.

Sarakasi actively searches for local talent that shows interest and capabilities for further development and training in related arts. Sarakasi promotes further development of the art of acrobatics, dance and music, by inviting trainers and experts from other parts of the world to visit (East) Africa and provide education and training in these arts. Furthermore, Sarakasi provides opportunities for performers for training and skills development elsewhere.

Mbotches Workers Union Threatens Strike

The so-called ‘domestic engineers’ are tired of their rights being infringed!

The caregivers of Kenya’s families have had little representation in the public domain and are speaking up for themselves this time round. Within one week, there shall be a massive strike unless the following demands are met:

1. Allowances

2. Dates with their boyfriends
