“We must all follow the rule of law and in no way should we condone such behaviour. Such acts of vandalism and lawlessness are a far cry from what Gor Mahia fans should stand for.” Vexed Sonko wrote.

Sonko wants all Gor Mahia’s fans who were involved in last night’s chaos to face the full force of the law.

Tusker FC and former Harambee Stars midfielder Orsbone Monday has gone missing.

Monday was picked from his house last night by unknown 10 men who arrived with two probox cars and claimed they were police officers.

At the time of the kidnapping, Orsbone was with his son and mother who had traveled to visit him and when she tried to inquire who they were and why they were taking him, they told him they were police officers and she would check Kenyatta Police station to see him.

However, when she arrived there the following morning, she did not find her son. She went round all police stations in Nairobi but has not found him.

Tusker FC where Orsbone plies his trade wrote on their facebook page saying:

One of our own osborne monday went missing yesternight after 10 people riding in 2 probox went to his house and claimed to be policemen. The mother who had come to visit was not even allowed to look at the number plate of the vehicle as all their phones were taken away from them. More news on the same to follow…

The unknown people did not allow his mother to see the number plates of the cars.

Arguably some of the most popular TV anchors of our time, Larry Madowo and Lilian Muli have an enviable skill in front of Teleprompters and cameras. They have been around for a decade or so.

Lilian joined Citizen TV as Larry Madowo headed to Kimathi Street to work with NTV. And now it is emerging that the bonding they formed together at KTN back then is just inseparable.

Larry has shared a throwback photo of himself with Lilian and he says they were hanging out somewhere in London three years ago during the London Olympics games.

Families of seven pupils from Murang’a are yet to come to terms with the fact that their loved once are dead after drowning in Diani as they enjoyed their school trip.

The seven pupils from St. Martin Primary School in Kahuro, Murang’a, drowned last evening at around 5 pm as while swimming at Pavilion Beach in Diani, Kwale County, reports Daily Nation.

The pupils who are believed to be aged between 13 and 15 had arrived in Mombasa on August 7 on a school trip and were expected to return today.

They had arrived in Mombasa to enjoy themselves ahead of their KCSE exams which will kick off later this year.

According to eye witnesses, the strong tides overwhelmed them as they enjoyed swimming and help was not forthcoming when they called for it.

Their head teacher has already been put on the spot because he claimed the school had its own trainer and did not need trained divers who help students when they go swimming.

Rescue operations led by the Red Cross ended last evening at around 11 pm and the retrieved bodies were taken to Msambweni Hospital Morgue.

Among those at the scene during the rescue operation was Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya.

But this time round they were on a revenge mission against Kanjos. Unconfirmed report indicates Kidero’s boys had downed one of Gor’s fans that why the Green Army went on a rampage last night.

Infuriated fans decided to cause havoc in the CBD setting ablaze two vehicles, Ambassador area was a no go zone for ordinary Nairobians.

KTN had Tausi actress turned Muranga’s Women Rep in people’s mouths after a hilarious (depending on who is looking at it) inaccuracy that had her associated with a seedy joint downtown.

Instead of referring to her as Sabina Chege, the transcriber referred to her as “Sabina Joy”. S.J as its popularly known is known as the sleaziest joint in Kenya where cheap prostitutes lurk in the corridors selling out their wares at a VERY pocket friendly price. Rumor has it that a shot there will only cost you 50 shillings while in up market areas, call-girls go for around 50,000.

So you can imagine how scandalized Sabina was when she saw this, or maybe she didn’t take it too seriously and had a good laugh. After all it was just human error

The self-proclaimed god disappeared without a trace a month ago, with his close relatives and followers claiming initially they did not know his whereabouts.

It was until this week that a chief in the area confirmed that the leader of the Lost Israelites sect had died and he knew this when his family went for a burial permit.

News of Jehovah Wanyonyi’s death were received with mixed reactions, as a section of Kenyans mocked the self-proclaimed God for dying.

His family has however maintained that Jehovah Wanyonyi is not dead as alleged and that he is recovering in an undisclosed hospital after developing back problems.

One of his wives, Mrs Sylvia Nangila, told Daily Nation yesterday:

“We have nothing new to tell you at the moment. All we know is that Jehovah Wanyonyi, my husband and our ‘god’, is in hospital being treated after he developed back pains four years ago.”

Sylvia went on to claim that they believe Jehovah Wanyonyi went to visit one of his many wives and so he will return back.

As if being expelled from Meru University and being sued by Safaricom wasn’t enough, Cyprian Nyakundi is in the news again. This time it’s for demanding 50 million from Bidco Refineries in exchange for taking down stories that he admits wrongfully slandered Bidco’s name. Nyakundi made this demand through his friend, Xtian Dela.

Before we can share the incriminating clip, we need to recap a bit. For the last one month, Nyakundi has been running a series of stories on his blog that he termed as investigations into Bidco’s illicit practices in Uganda. In this series, he tries to position himself as a champion of the people, whose rights have allegedly been trampled on by big bad corporations. At first glance this is a seemingly noble cause. However, the series of Bidco blog posts on Nyakundi’s website ended with him demanding that Bidco answer for their crimes. To begin with, this is a violation of basic media ethics, which state that parties affected by a story should be contacted BEFORE a story is run, in order to get all sides of it.

Under attack, Bidco reached to Xtian Dela-Twitter Bigwig and Radio presenter for help. If anyone could fight off Nyakundi-it was this guy because he had an equally massive following and a good reputation.  But the story took a different twist altogether.

Dela suggested paying Nyakundi to stop the attacks and delete the tweets-appointing himself as his middleman in the process. Apparently the two are friends and Nyakundi will listen to what he says.  Him and Nyakundi usually concoct Twitter trends in collaboration with each other. Xtian was present at the meeting, while Nyakundi was on standby via phone.

It’s a clever collabo when you think about it, one guy attacks the other cleans it up.

I have exclusively obtained an audio recording of this meeting, and what was said there will shock you. There was exactly zero effort from Cyprian Nyakundi or Xtian Dela to get to the bottom of the story. The two racketeers were only interested in money. And you just have to sit back in awe at the audacity of these fellas to demand 50 million for the stories to be taken down. You heard me right. These guys wanted 50 brary million Kenya shillings, no smiling! Sample this quote from the meeting:

Xtian: “the safest and the easier way is for us middlemen to meet and discuss on their behalf and come to an agreement. I think the other guys offered some good chunk of cash. An amazing good chunk of cash, but I told them at the end of the day it’s good to have the truth out. He was asking for 40m… he was actually saying that it’s low, that he would want to push it to 50.”

Notice how Xtian reveals Nyakundi was being paid to slander Bidco in the first place.

I really commend the Bidco rep for keeping a straight face throughout this conversation. If it were me, I’d have been like:

Then as if that wasn’t bad enough, Nyakundi and Xtian actually admit that the stories were false. See this:

Xtian: “I told him, lemme meet with you and see what you can do cause he was saying with such an amount of cash we will delete everything, post the truth and never, ever, ever, in his entire life, bash your guy.”

In the spirit of fairness, I contacted both Cyprian and Xtian, who denied any involvement in the matter. The audio evidence, however, is stacked against this claim. 

As a blogger it seems to me that Nyakundi and Xtian have let their Twitter popularity get to their heads. It’s mind boggling that people can think that since they have amassed some followers online, now they have enough muscle to go around bullying Captains of Industry, thinking they can destroy legitimate companies.

Robert Alai has gained a reputation as prejudiced rubble-rouser but he has also gained respect of his peers and his fans. He has been knee-deep in the Ng’ang’a investigation and now he has information that he claims will finally nail Pastor Ng’ang’a.

He asserts that  Nga’nga’s claims are bare-faced lies, “These two vehicles are not different. The KBS was once owned by one Alex. It was later written off and sold as a salvage in 2013. This is the car which Ng’ang’a now claims to own. The KCD is what he was driving. I will send more videos to prove that Ng’ang’a owns and used to drive the KCD

Governor Evans Kidero made headlines days before President Obama visited Kenya  a few weeks ago when he embarked on a beautification  project which was meant to make the city look attractive as the world headed to Nairobi.

One of the things that drew the attention of everyone was the grass he planted along Uhuru Highway and which many believed was under pressure to grow in three days.

He was trolled, bashed and mocked in equal measure, sometimes forcing President Uhuru Kenyatta to chip in and defend his actions.

The county government has trained more than 50 environmental specialists who will arrest whoever found stepping on the grass and/or littering the city.

“The youth will oversee proper disposal of solid waste as well as deter residents from stepping on and destroying the recently unveilled beautification program in various parts of the city. Apart from ensuring that pedestrians use designated footpaths without stepping on flower beds or littering within the city; the team has also been empowered to arrest and hand over anyone found littering and stepping on flower beds.”

Those who flout this directive will not only be arrested but also:

“Anyone found culpable of the above offenses will be fined a minimum of Ksh. 2,000/-“

So what is the Governor telling Nairobians?

“This Morning more than 50 young men and women who have undergone extensive training in law enforcement were deployed in various parts of the CBD and its environs as part of NCCG’s Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement team… I am requesting Nairobi residents to fully co-operate with this team for a cleaner and safer Nairobi. The County has invested more than Kes 40M on the beautification program and we would like to minimize the maintenance costs. More youths will be absorbed to ensure law and order is restored to our great city in the coming days.”

By now you all know Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre is relentlessly trying to purge his name from the accident that killed a woman, right?

The controversial man of God has climbed on top of Mount Kenya to shout his innocence but his action hasn’t been enough to convince many.

Ng’ang’a claimed the Range Rover that was involved in the crash that robbed one Mercy Njeri of her life wasn’t his.

Robert Alai has been tormenting the man of god even claiming he has videos to prove he owns the Range Rover that killed Mercy Njeri.

But is this what Alai does, capitalizing on someone’s predicament? No one would have thought for a moment the controversial blogger could as well be soliciting for ‘kitu kidogo’ from popular names.

If indeed he has the evidence, why not take it to police or better, be the witness to the case that will see Pastor Ng’ang’a pay for his crime.
