They shine on our screens whenever they appear to feed us with information we need to quench our curiosity, but just how much do you know about their private lives?
While some news anchors prefer to seal off their private lives from any Tom, Dick and Harry, others are philanthropic to share details of what they do when they are off cameras. They don’t mind giving the public a glimpse of their lives that’s why they can afford to share photos of their children on social networking sites.
There are a number of female news anchors who have pretty children, we only illuminated six though. It’s not as if we are discriminating or something, just that the six are haven’t hide their kids from public eye.

KTN news anchor, Joy Doreen Mbiira opens the list, she recently gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, In December last year to be precise.
From the moment she got pregnant to when she delivered, the Ugandan national wasn’t shy to share details of her condition. She even posted a photo of her cute boy few hours after welcoming him to this world.
Betty Kyallo
Another KTN anchor who has a pretty child is Betty Kyallo, the proudest mom on TV. Perhaps she likes flaunting her lovely daughter because she is a spitting image of herself.
Betty has been updating her fans on the kid’s development, she recently turned 10 months and the messages her mother got on her handle were massive. What will happen when she clocks a year? The kid is already a celebrity!
Terryanne Chebet
Terryanne Chebet has an adorable girl who goes by the name Imani, she is 9 years old. The mother went into raptures about her during her birthday some two weeks ago. The Citizen TV anchor spent a week just talking about Imani on social media.
Jacque Maribe
Another proud celebrity mom is Citizen TV’s senior political reporter, Jacque Maribe. I have to admit she took many by surprise when she revealed she had an 11 month old son.
We didn’t get a chance of seeing the face of Jacque’s son so we can’t tell if he took after her mom’s look. All in all, Jacque gave the public a glimpse of her son.

Comparing and contrasting the two boys, I have to say the older one is the one that resembles her mom, Lulu’s smile can conspicuously be seen on the boy’s face.

Last but not least is Julie Gichuru, one of the most celebrated media personalities Africa can boast of.
The gorgeous Citizen TV anchor as four kids, three boys and a girl. Given that the husband is slightly dark in complexion, I can confidently say all the kids took after Julie. Of cause they are all pretty!
