6 News Anchors That Detest Alcohol. They Are Too Saved For Such Kinds Of Earthly Pleasures (Photos)

You see them on your screens everyday but have you ever asked yourself just how much you know about their private lives? While some media personalities are acclaimed guzzlers, others loath liquor. The latter are our persons of interest.

There are many reasons why people don’t drink, the common one that has made us illuminate five anchors is salvation. Yes, the five have all seen the light so they don’t touch ‘intoxicants’.

                                              Johnson Mwakazi

Top of the list is Johnson Mwakazi, holier than thou! The former Citizen TV anchor has been sober for the better part of his adult life. Having spent his entire childhood in Kibera, the celebrated anchor was lucky not to be trapped by liquor; the ghetto is a hotspot for all sort of booze. Johnston got saved while he was still a student, so you can bet he has never quaffed a drop of alcohol ever since you started seeing him on TV.

Arguably the prettiest face on Kenyan screens today, Victoria’s tummy has zero tolerance for bitter beverages that manipulates the brain. Could this be the reason why she is always glowing on the screen? For those one of you who didn’t know, Victoria is a staunch Christian. Her faith prevents her from getting wasted. Yes! She is also single by the way. Potential suitors, this is a message for you. If you have the balls to ask Victoria for a date, take her any place with exception of bars.

I have heard ladies say he has a killer voice, one that makes them seat uneasy. Watch out, the voice is for spreading the word. Having said that, you should know Dennis doesn’t gulp down alcohol. The NTV investigative reporter is a preacher, he has to set a good example to faithful.

What do you expect from a cleric’s fiancé? Would she be a drunkard when her better half is busy trying to save lost sheep? For those one who didn’t know, Betty is Dennis Okari’s fiancé. Yes, the ever smiling KTN anchor is a staunch Christian, liquor is a no go zone for her.

Surprise! Most of you probably think Larry guzzles down alcohol like no one’s business, right? I mean he is the most outgoing anchor on TV, the way he socializes with people one would think he uses stimuli to get that vigour in him. Don’t let your preconceived notions deceive you, Larry doesn’t touch liquor, he is ‘team stay sober.’ By the way he is also a born-again Christian.

 Last but not least is former KTN business anchor, Zawadi Mudibo. He too has is captain holy, alcohol and other related stuff can’t be tolerated. Almost forgot to mention, Zawadi is also a preacher. Men of cloth don’t drink, of cause with exception of a few. All that while Zawadi has graced the screens, he has always been sober than most of our judges!
