Citizen TV news anchor, Janet Mbugua, has taken off her hat to eight adorable ladies who have dumbfounded her by what they do.
You call it the female takeover, these ladies have attracted the attention of millions, for a good reason of cause. No wonder Janet had to wax lyrical about them.
To start with, today is woman crush Wednesday (#wcw) that kasocial media trend where users share pictures of ladies that they find attractive or admire.
Janet however deviated from #wcw to start her own trend #WomanCanWednesday. This was to honor eight specific ladies that have inspired her.
Moipei sisters.

Top of the list are the Moipei sisters. The triplets went down history books for being the first Kenyans to sing at an NBA game. They performed US national anthem before the NBA playoff game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday the 26th of April 2015. Yes! Americans were totally impressed by their voices, they got standing ovation.

The next lady that Janet adores is a blogger, not just any kind, a kid blogger. She goes by the name Lil Miss Belle on Instagram. So young yet she has already curved a niche for herself on social media. Miss Belle has more followers than some of the adults I know. She is one of the most followed kids in the 254 on Instagram.

Eunice Akoth

Eunice Akoth, is that name familiar to you? Well, she is the 10 year-old youngster from Kibera that brought New York to standstill. Her speech/poem, a reminiscent of the fallen American activist, Martin Luther King Jr. made headlines on New York Times, no wonder Janet had to salute her.

Obama ladies

Last but not least are the Obama ladies; Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama. They need no introduction, the most exalted first family in the world. They are role models to both the young and the old from all over planet earth.
