Former Miss Kenya Gets All Mushy And Does This For Her Loving Husband

Kenya’s fiercely gorgeous beauty queen and talented songbird Juliet has something big lined up for her husband that will make all the hopeless romantics tingle with excitement.

This will be made possible thanks to the collaborative efforts of the cool, calm but charismatic Akebulan from DRC (Kinshasa).

The project is their new music video (Iting’owa) set to drop in September 2015. She says, “We really hit it off! I respect Akebulan very much; he’s a talented artist and an easy one to work with. He really put his all into the song. The synergy between us in the studio was just super organic. I can’t wait to see the final video.”

ITING’OWA is a song close to Juliet’s heart. A special dedication to her husband for the many years of tender loving and care. ” It is so hard to find a man that dedicates his time, love and support for his family nowadays, my husband must have been sent from heaven. Simply put, I don’t know where i would have been without his love and support. He holds me down. ” Iting’owa, a luo word – is directly translated as “you carry us” meaning  “the pivot , the supporting pillar “. Juliet’s husband has been the pillar that holds their family together for the years they’ve been married.

Written by Juliet and Akebulan, Iting’owa is Juliet’s debut single as a professional musician. The song has been produced by renown Kenyan producer Maich Black, also producer of Proff’s hit song ” DATA ” and the Herbalist. Juliet describes Iting’owa as an Afro pop song, “This is a sound that I have been trying out and like very much. But you can always feel a touch of Afro Fusion in her  upcoming album!”

Itong’owa is set for release in September 2015.
