Ringtone And His Ugandan Counterpart Hammer The Last Nail On Gospel Music Coffin
The thin line distinguishing gospel music and secular has further been attenuated by gospel singer Ringtone Apoko and his Ugandan counterpart Exodus.
Lots of folks have been grumbling about secular musicians masquerading in gospel music. The case of preaching water and drinking wine!
Some gospel songs which can’t be distinguished from secular ones are the reason why Kenyans have been casting doubt on the ‘sanity’ of musicians who compose the said songs.
A couple of months ago, Ringtone flew to the Banana Republic of Uganda. His mission there was to strike a deal with Exodus.
Months passed by and the duo finally released their much awaited collaboration. They called their combined effort ‘Party Leo’.
Truth be said, the song is another secular hit mistaken for a gospel anthem. The video further supports this assertion.
