After Juliani,Another Ukoo Flani Mau Mau Member Finds Jesus Christ! Amen!

He is one of the most hardcore of hardcore rappers in Kenya. Together with his partner,Robah,Zakah formed the hardcore Hiphop outfit Wenyeji and went on to serve you with some of the realest, rawest and roughest hip-hop jams you ever listened to.

Brought up in the harsh trenches of the sprawling Dandora slum, decked with tales of nut just struggle but also death and gunshots,Zakah managed to squeeze his little way out of the hazardous life and went on to not just go into music but also be part of one of the biggest HipHop groups ever formed in Kenya.

With Wenyeji,Zakah and his partner Robah brought you hip-hop hits like Mizani,Imagine,Soldier and Pressure. They even collaborated with Juliani on the song Something More though I am sure you probably never heard of it.

And after quite a stint with Wenyeji,and Ukoo Flani Maumau as a whole,Zakah seemed to have found the life of secularism, alcoholism and raw streets rather intoxicating and therefore, the street Prophet decided to follow Christ.

And,follow he did!

Zakah,now,is a born again soldier. Not of the mean,Nairobi streets but of Christ. Yes,The Lord Jesus Christ.

And soon after finding the Lord,and accepting Him as his personal savior,Zakah embarked on the immediate business of music…Dropping a song that is exclusively dedicated to the new love of his life; Jesus.

And Oh Lord! Is it an amazing jam!

The song,titled,Precious Life,is already a masterpieces.

The hook is straight to the point…And is full of praise for Jesus. Oh,and mentions of Him too!

What stands out in the track is the brilliantly written verses that boast of some of the best lyricism ever heard in a Gospel song.

Zakah,employing the same old Wenyeji rap style,has really managed to outdo even himself here.

The rhymes are top-notch,the rhyme skill is on Eminem’s level (not speed),the rhythm is absolutely thrilling, the things he addresses in the song are passionate and the manner of delivery is way outta this world.

Despite accepting Christ,It’s clear that Zakah has not lost the mojo. Or the fire that made him one of the finest rappers Kenya ever had.

The boy has found Christ…And even found a much better,slicker flow.

Precious Life is the song that you ALL must listen to…It’s poignat,true,classy,soulful,unpretentious and uplifting.
