One wouldn’t be stoned for saying Nation FM’s Angela Angwenyi deserves the title ‘Radio Queen.’ The sweet mellowed presenter has a MASSIVE following and she is also a trendsetter.

For starters, the celebrated presenter is turning her back on her ten year career on radio.

Her departure is what has caused jitters among her fans. She confirmed she was leaving Nation FM through her twitter handle.

“And it’s a wrap…thank you radio for being kind to me, thanks to all my listeners for consistently.” She wrote.

Her proclamation raised worry among our senators. Kakamega Senator, Boni Khalwale, in particular has been restless ever since he learnt of Angela’s departure.

He has flooded the presenter’s timeline with tweets asking her why she is leaving. His counterpart, Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, encouraged Angela on her bold step to ‘move on’.
