Today, Kenya’s fastest rising boy band H_art the Band, will be releasing the much anticipated video to their newest single ‘LovePhobic’ under their record label Penya Africa.
Shot in the outskirts of Nairobi, the video carries their unique vintage feel, complimented by a classic urban touch. ‘Lovephobic’ has captured the doubts and uncertainty that come with love. The video plays out a couple that is in love but their love is clouded by doubts, it also shows the guy’s first meeting with his girlfriend’s parents. ‘Lovephobic’ (the audio) is the first of its kind in Kenya as it brings Spoken Word Poetry to the mainstream.
The video features professional actors from renown groups namely Theatre company and Heartstrings Kenya and one of the cast having featured in the ‘Nairobi Half-life’. They really outdid themselves and brought life into the video.
