You Will Not Believe Who Rushed To Willy Paul’s Defence after Bahati Accused Him of Stealing His Songs

Our Sunday evening was interrupted by a ruthlessly-worded Facebook post that Bahati wrote accusing Willy Paul among other things of stealing his songs.

This post has divided Kenyans with some on Willy Paul’s side, others on Bahati’s side, others feel that Bahati should not have aired his beef on Social Media like a socialite, while others couldn’t be bothered by the drama going on.

Few significant people have come to Willy Paul’s defense and this time an unlikely person has rushed to Willy Paul’s defense. Docta Eddie, who was a key witness in the other Willy Paul song stealing saga.

This is what he had to say:

“People should leave Willy Paul alone… Eeh, you gonna make a nigga hung heself… The young man has heard now.

Of the two, none is a saint. As much as Willy might have wronged him, bahati has done wrong in putting private affairs to the judgment of the public… This is equally wrong coz now people are crucifying the whole Gospel fraternity coz of their affairs… This ain’t fair to the other Gospel Musicians…

And all those people complaining that Gospel music is watered down and trolling musicians, y’all is judging… Which is wrong. I could list a very long list of musicians who do very spiritual music… To name a few… Eunice Njeri, Sarah K, Soki Kalwenze, Lady bee, pitson, and many more Kenyan musicians… I don’t understand how one could listen to songs that piss them off. Advice for all… When a song you don’t like comes on, flip the channel… Coz you might dislike a song, but someone else loves it… Some are busy complaining about willy Paul’s song not having Jesus mentioned and yet they got Smile by Kirk Franklin on replay…”
