Instead Of The Church, Bahati Finds His Lover In A Club (Photos)
Bahati built his name in gospel music but now it seems he is finding a soft spot in the secular world. His whereabouts in the club will leave you with more questions than you will ever find answers for them.
The thin line between gospel and secular music is rapidly and continuously being attenuated all thanks to some gospel singers with their insensible actions.
They claim to be singing gospel songs but their action suggests they are dancing to the tune of secular music. They have left their flock more confused than they found them.
Last night, Bahati made his way to K1 and performed his latest song ‘Lover’ which has already made many question the choice of its title.
So instead of going to rejoice in the house of the Lord, Bahati opted to find his ‘Lover’ in a club, K1 to be specific!
He shared the same stage with Jose Chameleone , Eric Omondi, Rich Mavoko among other secular celebrities to rock revelers, or was he still praising the Almighty? This paradox is actually more complicated than ever before.
Picture this, if it’s morally and spiritually right for gospel artists to perform at night clubs, is the reverse also applicable? By that I mean can secular musicians also be allowed to perform in churches or is it a case of double standard?
Anyway, nowadays the only way you distinguish gospel artists from their secular counterparts is by their own declaration, you can’t rely on their actions to see the difference.
