Esther Akothee is one of the few female artistes in the republic who has quick and tremendously risen from grass to grace in the music industry, thanks to her uniqueness and desire to achieve more.
Almost everybody has been talking about this coast-based mother of four who beat all odds to become one of the wealthiest musicians in Kenya.
Akothee’s story is long and touchy but she seems to have forgotten all that and forged forward as a brave woman. This perhaps explains why her music has been many people’s favourite.
She first hit the airwaves with Nimechoka, a song she says was inspired by a bitter relationship she endured.
And now she is at it again with a brand new jam whose audio she has shared on you tube.
The single goes by the name Bourgeler which simply means let’s dance, let’s twerk, let’s break down. Bourgeler is a pure Lingala song which is a mixture of Lingala and Luo.
