As Tanzania Bans Twerking, Popular Nation FM’s Presenter Is On A Mission To Pay Twerkers

Twerking has dominated the floor of almost every club in the entire world. But the titillating global dance is slowly facing extinction as some countries prohibit it.

It’s as a result of twerking that some established socialites made it to limelight. The provocative dance has been the trend for a while but its future is now in a limbo.

Just recently, our backyard neighbour banned it for undermining their culture. Yes, Tanzanian police have been regularly cracking the whip on revellers caught in the act.

Back home, Nation FM’s incessant presenter, Obinna Ike Igwe , is seeking to reward the best twerkers in the country.

Oga Obinna is willing to cough out Kes 10,000 to reward the girl who would impressively shake her fundamentals to please Team Mafisi.

The presenter-cum-secular singer launched a competition encouraging ladies to twerk to his latest hit, ‘Digi Digi’. Participants are to upload a video of themselves twerking to Obinna’s song and the one who shakes her behinds best, will pocket 10k.
