When Daddy Owen started the MalaikaTribute Awards sometimes in 2012, most probably he didn’t know how big it would become and how it would be changing the lives of others.
The award is all about appreciating people living with disabilities who have triumphed in various aspects in life. It’s funded by the king of Kapungala himself in collaboration with other corporate bodies.
Also key point to note, Papa Fololo is the ONLY gospel artiste in Kenya with a non-profit making organization. He surely deserves accolades for that!
The last time Malaika Tribute Awards was held, winners walked home with a cool Kes 100,000. The Safaricom Brand Ambassador is now planning to host the awards this Wednesday. As in tomorrow!
