Octopizzo Bags A New Job Courtesy Of The British High Commission

British dignitaries in their Kenyan consulate have long groomed a close relationship with Kibera’s finest export, Octopizzo. Their friendship has culminated to Octo landing a job all thanks to the British High Commission.

Octo will now be juggling between his spiring music career and his new job as the ambassador of new programme by the British Council dubbed; Addressing Violence Against Women & Girls through Football’.

The programme is aimed at using football to tackle issues of violence against women and girls in Mount Elgon, Western Kenya.

‘Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls through Football’ will work with young people in Mount Elgon to address some of the behaviours and attitudes that give rise to high levels of violence against women and girls.

Namba Nane will officially be named the programme’s ambassador during its launch which will be taking place at Kapsokwony, in Bungoma County tomorrow.

Octo couldn’t hide his joy when revealing details of his new job to Ghafla! He also revealed he was ready to take on his new task.
