Ten Things You Didn’t Know About The Man Who Allegedly Was Dating Martha Karua
Going by the name Sheldi Gorgeous, he starts his music career as young boy at only 15 years of age. Not only is he a musician but also a model. Ghafla! Contacted Sheldi after rumors went round about him, and this is what he had to say about his music career and social life
Ghafla!:What would you say has been your biggest song thus far;
Sheldie: ‘Never be the Same’ introduced me to the market. I jumped from studio to studio trying to make it but no studio gave me my taste, and in 2011, I walked to Ogopa Deejays and that became like a home to me. They understood me, and they gave me what i wanted, I then recorded ‘Sexy Luv’ with Ogopa Deejays, but released only the audio in 2012.
G: So are you still in the music industry?
S: Music is my number one career and that is what pays my bills most. I can never stop doing music, though after releasing the audio Sexy Luv in 2012, I took time to rebrand myself and get to know what am worth, and in 2014, I sat down with my Producer at Ogopa Deejays and we discussed about the new Sheldi Gorgeouz (myself) and how am going to make a comeback like a new brand, who knows exactly what he wants in his music career.
G: Word on the streets based on information from some blog, is that you are dating a certain powerful politician. Would you mind sharing with us the juicy details?
S: (Laughs)… Yes, I also got wind of the rumours. The said Politian is Martha Karua, and no, I have never and I am currently not dating her. The truth is that, I am just her political lover. I love Martha Karua politically… not what people think. Am just 21yrs old!
G: We also hear you went Vera Sidika way and bleached whitened your skin, what’s with that?
S: I did not do it because Vera Sidika did it.Vera Sidika bleached her skin and made everything look fake, I just brightened my looks, nothing more. I did not bleach.
G: In the same breath that I ask about you alleged affair with Karua, I have to ask, are you gay? Your photos online are pretty suggestive…
S: I am not GAY. My fans actually call me Gorgeous because I’m just so cute, and I look like a chic, especially my face, na siringi…and the cameras work so well with the cuteness. The bottom line is I am STRAIGHT.
G: Rumor had it that you were arrested for drug trafficking care to explain..
S: Yes, I was arrested that day and was released the same day…but not with drugs, and no, Martha Karua did not bribe the court to withdraw the case as it was said I organized my release from the cell. I really don’t get why people would think Martha Karua had anything to do with my release.
G: So, Valentines is just a stone throw away, plans?
S: I believe Valentines is just an extra day to celebrate the people you love in you lives. So I’ll be spending it with my mother. She has done so much for me and I would be dedicating the day to her.
G: So what should we look out from Sheldi in the months to come?
S: I am currently up and down with my producer at Ogopa Deejays shooting my music video that is going to be launched by the end of this month or first week of march, so watch this space.
G: Any words you would like to share with your fans?
S: Dear fans… the far that I am in my career, it’s because of your support and your love, that is why i have taken time before releasing my song because am working to give you the best of myself this time round… I am about to release a song that is going to prove that yeah your SHELDI GORGEOUZ is back.
