After 2 Chainz, Another American Rapper Is Making His Way To Kenya This Month

The countdown is on, hip hop fans are about to be rocked by another American rapper who will be making his way to the country next week.

The only home of classic hip hop in Kenya, Nairobi Hip Hop Rapsody in conjunction with African Hip Hop.com and Amarula will be hosting New York-based Ghanaian-American MC Blitz the Ambassador.

A world traveller and performer, Blitz has been touring the world and releasing new music without as much as a break. He’s currently gearing up for a tour across the motherland which will take him to Zanzibar for the Sauti za Busara festival and then Kenya before finally flying to Ghana.

Blitz will be in Kenya for a special listening party for his new album ‘Diasporadical’ at Ebony Lounge, Westlands on February 18th from 10pm.

On that evening, Blitz will be joined on stage by Muthoni the Drummer Queen who also has a remix with a top international artist.

Blitz will be the first American rapper to perform in Kenya this year after 2 Chainz and Talib Kweli rocked hip hop enthusiasts late last year.
