Bongo Musician Tells Off Kenyan Radio Presenters and Nigerians Calling Them Conmen and Witches

Kenyan TV presenters and DJs in charge of playing music on TV have come under a lot of heat a lot of times for favoring Nigerian artistes over Kenyan artistes.

Some of them such as DJ Pinye have been accused of crippling the music industry. And this was an opinion echoed by Tanzanian Musician Dully Sykes. Dully says that the presenters are to blame slow decline of Kenyan music.

“How will you create stars and how will these stars make money if you keep refusing to play their music?” he asks. Play Kenyan music on Kenyan radios their music instead of Nigerian music; Nigerians are thieves and can also practice witchcraft.

“Kenyan presenters should eliminate Nigerian music from their playlists and go back to the good old times when Kenyan music ruled the airwaves. The times of E-Sir, Wahu, Krupt and Nameless.

“In fact I would urge all presenters to cease and desist from playing Nigerian music as they are not even supporting your country. They come here, pick up their fat cheque earned from loyalties and jet off to their countries. Leaving nothing to your country.“He concludes.
