After President Uhuru Kenyatta, SAUTI SOL Now Meet UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon (Photos)
It seems these guys are going places, not just in Kenya, but places in the world. Sauti Sol is already a household name not just in Kenya but also in the corridors and walls of United Nations offices in Geneva, Switzerland.
After meeting with president Uhuru Kenyatta in Kenya’s highest and most decorated house, State House, Sauti Sol have gone back to the very same place, this time round to meet both President Uhuru Kenyatta and United Nations Secretary Genaral, Ban Ki Moon.
Ki Moon is in the country for a major UN conference and Sauti Sol were invited as guests in State House.
Sauti Sol have risen through the ranks to become Kenya’s most adored singing group, partly because of their exploits in the music industry and partly because of winning MTVEMA Best African Act where they beat renowned singers like Tanzania’s Diamond and Nigeria’s Davido.
The group of four is not yet done though. They have been nominated for an even bigger award: the MTVEMA Best Worldwide Act.
