Gospel Artiste Accused of Allegedly Stealing From a Deceased Producer’s Studio
After the burial of Timothy Mudogo, former producer for Waunde Music, his brother Chris has come out accusing gospel artiste Sleek Mcee for allegedly stealing studio property.
The Chris has threatened to record a statement against Sleek Mcee for been in custody of the studio hard disks of which Sleek says is his intellectual property. He alleges that he gave Sleek Mcee 5 hard drives which he had earlier formatted to get rid of virus but upon taking them, Sleek refused to return them to him. Chris further says he invites Sleek for talk of which if it doesn’t happen he will be forced to report the matter to the police.

On the other hand, Sleek is alleging that Chris only surfaced during the burial of his late brother and has then taken over the studio and turned it to be his official home. He disclose that he took the hard drives to assist all the artistes whose work were lost to get them back by a computer system recovery which he estimates to cost him KES 120,000 for all disks safe recovery. It is hard to tell how is right and how is wrong as both parties are claiming to do something right and accusing the other of breach.
