EMMY KOSGEY Nominated For Prestigious Awards

Sauti Sol and Emmy Kosgey are household names in the entertainment industry in Kenya who have represented far and wide. Emmy Kosgei, the gospel songbird who got married to Nigeria has been out of the limelight for a while but her music keeps inspiring many.

The Sauti Sol group was nominated for the MTV EMA awards and voting has been ongoing for the group, and now they have landed another nomination for the BEFFTA Awards alongside Emmy Kosgey and many other African Artists.

The nominations were made a few days ago and voting commenced on Wednesday and will run to the 22^nd of this month.

BEFFTA which means Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts are awards given to best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Canada, Caribbean and Asia.

The ceremony will be held on the 24^th and the 25^th of this month in London, UK.
